    Bowl

We decided to grab a bite to eat after hanging out at the mall. This is a fast casual restaurant with vibrant and colorful interior. You can either order from your phone via a QR code or place an order at the register. The food portions are on the smaller side and kinda pricey for what you get. Nandos is known for their chicken! I got a bowl with medium spice level. I enjoyed the flavor profile of the bowl but was really disappointed with the size of the chicken. As someone on a high protein/ low carb diet this was pretty disheartening. The Peri Mac and cheese had the perfect amount of creaminess with a splash of crunch! The Brussels were flavorful!

While waiting for my car to be serviced, I took the opportunity to explore Nando's Peri-Peri menu. To my surprise, I discovered they now offer a vegetarian burger--a welcome addition, as Nando's previously had limited options for vegetarians. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by the waiter, who took the time to walk me through the menu. I appreciated the fast-casual format, where ordering directly from the table was both efficient and convenient, with food delivered promptly. I ordered the veggie burger, fries, and Portuguese rice. The greens were impressively crisp, though the portion size felt rather small relative to the price point. While the food was enjoyable, it lacked the freshness one might expect, and it was evident that not everything was prepared fully from scratch. Overall, the experience was positive, and I will certainly return to try the veggie burger again, though I believe there is room to enhance both value and quality.

We ordered delivery from Nandos and it arrived in pretty good condition. We had the Mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole type dish, and half a chicken. It was enough for two. I used to eat Nandos a lot as once upon a time I lived across the street from one, and it continues to be a cheap fast food alternative. I'd order again from this location.

The place is really upbeat and gets into the mood of the food. Just relax place and not that pact when we visited. The service was upfront and smooth. The food was like a late thanksgiving meal and served fresh. We enjoyed dipping it to different sauces.

The chicken here is fuego! . If you're looking for some good chicken that's an alternative to Peruvian or fried chicken, then this is the place for you. Every bite of the chicken you can taste that fire grilled char in it. You can get anything from chicken to wings, to their version of a cava or chipotle bowl. We love them all, would recommend getting the peri chicken rainbow bowl a Mac n cheese mixed bowl with veggies and chicken. For the sides, the chips (fries) with perinaise sauce is the bomb, as is the coleslaw. The Mac n cheese is good, comes with some fired up bread comes on top, but the chips and slaw are the go to!

Excellent food. However, good food takes time to cook. This is a great option if you are in the Springfield Town Center area and want something to eat without having to spend more at a nearby restaurant or eat less healthy inside the mall. Inside here, the staff was helpful and they have plenty of seating. It did take about 20 minutes to get the food for 3 of us, but it was worth it. The chicken is very fresh and cooked correctly. The side items are also very tasty. The prices are decent given how inflation has made eating out a mini-vacation. Highly recommended!

1/2 chicken medium with spicy rice, fries. Wing appetizer (6 pieces ) with a side of Peri Peri Mac. Coke.

A great place for a quick lunch if you want something fast casual. It was a tad empty when I entered but I was seated promptly at a table and I went straight to ordering. You can order up front at the counter or you can order through the app. Personally I'm someone that finds it convenient to order through the phone but that could be because I'm introverted... Anyways, the food came out quick. I usually get the wing appetizer which consists of six wings with your choice of spice. I opt for medium since it's a good balance between tangy and spice. It's pretty good but don't expect the wings to be big. They are kinda small. On the other hand, the 1/2 chicken was a delight to see. You get a piece of white/dark meat and two sides of your choice. I got fries and rice, I guess I just like carbs or something. The chicken is really juicy and you can taste the char. The sauce was lightly brushed so I would recommend getting a sauce bottle from where you'd also get your utensils and napkins too. My only complaint was that the Coke Freestyle had limited options on my visit and I am wondering if they are phasing it out for a regular soda dispenser. Some Nandos have already made that change but I hope this location doesn't remove it. I love trying out the different flavors!

    Jingle Bowl and Hibiscus Lemonade
    Susan J.

A semi fast food restaurant at Springfield Mall facing Frontier Drive. As you walk in you are instantly greeted, however, job duties were very stove piped. One server addresses those to dine in and one addresses those who order out. However, my server immediately knew about the Yelp Jingle Bowl promo when asked. I also did get a kid's meal and a side of fries. So, the Nando's chicken on the bone is always tasty and their fries, albeit salty, are tasty, but a but overly fried. Now, the Jingle Bowl. 2 small pieces of thighs (dark, white or pulled chicken options available), some stuffing, corn and mashed potato. The bowl was ok, nothing spectacular. Would I order this again? Most likely not. It's not the flavors I expect from Nando's and honestly, it did not impress me. The hibiscus lemonade tasted like an overly sweet yet tart lemonade. Also, the machine kept dripping the lemonade so they just put a cup underneath and as soon as it was full, capped it and placed it in the fridge (probably for pick up on future orders). So, my experience was mediocre since it wasn't a true Nando's experience.

Nando's is a go to when I'm in Nova. Consistently good & filling. I always order 1/4 Chicken Breast with Portuguese Rice and Garlic Bread. The chicken is juicy, and you have to try the different sauces with your meal. You'll find one you love. That garlic bread. TO DIE FOR. THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF CRISPY & flavorful, I typically have to order extra just to have leftover. The sangria is always really good too!

Been to Nando's before at other locations. Came to this specific location for the first time with a group of over 20 people. Hubby and I ordered their rainbow vegetarian bowl and Nandocas sandwich (hot). Total came out to under $30. What's Hot - Quality. Pretty delicious. It appears their food is freshly made. Their chicken is tender, moist, and flavorful. My rainbow vegetarian bowl was delicious and not overly salty, as well. Nando's chicken is almost always reliable for good quality chicken. - Menu. Very good variety, especially given that they're a chicken restaurant. They do have a fair number of items that are vegetarian and vegan friendly, as well. - Price. Very reasonable, especially given the portions. That hubby and I were able to get our dinners for a total of less than $30 is reasonable. - Layout. There are small tables for 2, booths, and large long tables for larger groups, which is helpful. Our group took up 2 long tables. - Service. A positive aspect is that you can order online. As a result, some of our group ordered at their counter, while some of our group ordered online and put in our table number so that they knew where our orders came from. Because we had a large group and because our orders were split between online and in-person/at the counter, they definitely deserve credit for the fact that a couple of their staff would regularly check in on us to ensure we all got our individual orders. They were also able to accommodate our group when other nearby restaurants at the mall, such as Maggiano's and Yard House said they could not accommodate us and/or said we had to wait for over 1hr for them to seat us. - Parking. Given that this location is at a mall, there is plenty of parking around the mall, which is helpful. What's Not - Service. They're not bad, but not great. Because our orders were broken up between online and in-person, my guess is that their kitchen staff didn't anticipate so many orders to come in at the same time. As such, everyone's order came out at different times and some had to wait much longer than others. To be fair, it probably depends on how many people are in your group. Given that we were over 20 people and took up 2 large tables, it may have been difficult for them to track our individual orders. Point is to be prepared for slower and disjointed service if your group is larger than 4 to 6 people; especially, dependent on the day and time you go. - Layout. They have the layout to handle large numbers, but the space is tight for groups larger than 4 (standard number for a booth). Final Answer Would be willing to come back, but not a first choice for a large group.

    Worst manager ever!!!

The manager should be fired. Worst customer service of my life. We ordered a lot of food through the Nando's website. The food was delivered but a veggie sandwich was missing. We called and spoke with the manager who just started taking an order while we were speaking then just hung up. We went to the restaurant for her to say she wasn't refunding us, did not know how to refund, didn't have a business card, would not provide her name, would not provide the general manager's information. We stayed for about an hour and even called the police for assistance. Since she would not give us her name, we snapped a photo of her! We want to talk to her supervisor!

The awning outside needs refurbishment and inside furniture is not updated. It's dark inside, almost like a night club. Perhaps it is sometimes. I did not like the decor, it was a little run down and honestly did not match up to the prices. The service was also disappointing. I felt that staff lacked a bit of professionalism and they rarely checked on us. The plates are huge. That is a plus. My partner ordered the goat and I tried the red snapper. I think one plate is big enough to share. I like the spinach, but everything needed a bit of salt. While the red snapper was coated in a lovely tomato and red pepper gravy, I felt it made the crispyness of the fried fish disappear and it was kind of soggy. Maybe you can ask for the gravy on the side. The food is not bad, but given the physical establishment and the service I wouldn't return.

The service was impeccable- the waitress and sommelier were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Nadia, our waitress, offered suggestions about what dishes would pair well together for the tawle experience and shared her favorites. The sommelier went over the extensive wine list and helped us pick a nice red that paired well with our chosen dishes- it was called Yacoubian Hobbs from Armenia. The ambiance was comfortable and welcoming- you could dress up or down, pretty much anything goes! The walls are lined with colorful patterns and draped tapestries to create a high end living room vibe. Now for the fun part- THE FOOD! The first dishes brought out were the mouneh (pickled veggies), the honey soaked dates, and the three spreads (we selected the hummus with lamb on top for an additional $15, havuc, and beet borani). I'll add that they continuously bring out fresh, warm pita throughout the whole meal. The lamb hummus was savory and well-balanced, but very rich. The havuc had a beautiful lightness from the carrots and I loved the textural element of the crispy onions on top. The beet borani also added a welcomed freshness throughout the meal and was vibrant, light, and had wonderful yogurt flavors. The underrated dish were the pickled veggies because INSANE. I used these in bites during the entire meal and they all had a unique flavor as if they were each pickled in a special way- my favorites were the white radish and scallions. The honey dates were a sweet palette cleanser and cut through the savory elements of the meal. We continued on with the next round consisting of the field lettuce salad, the three condiments (we chose the toum, chermoula, and harissa), halloumi, omani shrimp, and chickpeas. The field lettuce salad had a zesty vinaigrette and I appreciated the acidity addition of the sliced oranges and the crunchy, salted pistachios. The toum was a garlicky aioli that I felt was best paired with the chickpeas- although all the dips were delicious with all the dishes and the pita. The harissa was a lighter version than I am used to, spicy, and paired well with the veggies and ribeye. The chermoula was my favorite and paired best with the ribeye- it reminded me of a flavorful and herbaceous chimichurri. The halloumi had a sweet honey and was grilled perfectly, paired with nice crunchy nuts. The chickpeas had a lovely consistency and were well seasoned- I think it was sumac, but whatever it was, I couldn't get enough. The shrimp were ONE OF MY FAVORITE dishes from the whole meal. They were juicy, seasoned perfectly, charred, and just chefs kiss. I enjoyed them with the chermoula and squeeze of lime. The main dishes and veggies came during our final (besides dessert) round. We ordered the sayadieh as part of the table experience and also added a ribeye to the order. We had ordered the charred carrots, but they accidentally brought us the wildflower honey zucchini instead, so we were lucky enough to be able to try both. The branzino (sayadieh) absolutely blew my mind. It was citrusy, spicy, seasoned with bright spices, and incredibly moist. I would honestly skip the ribeye- it was cooked to a nice medium rare and had a nice flavor, but I don't think it compared to the rest of the meal. The charred carrots were spicy, cooked soft- also one of the standouts. The zucchini was served beautifully and I enjoyed the sauce, but could also skip next time. We ended the meal with the bitter orange sorbet and the chocolate mousse. The sorbet was a nice palette cleanser as it had zest in the mix and was very light after the heavy meal. The chocolate mousse was very rich and had a new balance of chocolate and peanut flavors. They brought over complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate my birthday as well :) I cannot wait to come back to try more of the menu and I am so happy to have had a diverse taste of the Middle East. I'll also add that we had a HUGE bag of leftovers that lasted several meals and they packaged it up like true professionals. A food lover completely satisfied and eager to get back :)

In fact,…read morethere were several fire grills in the center of the first floor of the restaurant (it has two floors), and you can see the staff constantly grilling the meats, fish, vegetables and pita. This, together with the dark vibe, made me feel as if I were eating with ppl. from B.C. in a cave. Very interesting. I like that. For food, I got the Carrot Havuc, Omani Shrimp and Halloumi. But first I was served with some freshly made whole wheat pita. They were soft, chewy and earthy. The Carrot Havuc was basically a carrot+garlic puree. Very silky, refreshingly sweet, and a bit sour. The sourness may come from the garlic and lemon. Paired well with the pita and meats. The Omani shrimp came with 5 pieces, each shrimp was ~1oz so it was not very filling. The shrimp were meaty, fresh, juicy, though I wish it could be less salty, even if I already asked for less salt. The shrimp was said to be marinated with dried lime and tamarind but I could only taste the flavor of dried lime. The Halloumi cheese was brushed wild flower honey and topped with Egyptian dukkah, then baked until the outside was golden brown. It was salty and sweet, and the (tons of) sesame seeds added some fragrance to it. However, the peanut was too roughly chopped so that they fell off from the cheese when I slice it, and thus difficult to eat with the cheese. Service was not worth the 20% mandatory tip. For example, when I asked about the sourness of the Carrot Havuc, he did not know why and said he would "taste it and let me know where the sourness came from". Unfortunately, he did not tell me until I asked again when doing the check (I doubt if he tasted it in the first place). Neither did he ask me about the other dishes. Overall, the dishes were great but not impressive, and was mostly heavily flavored. The service could be improved.
