I was passing chicken express and decided to give it a go. I had to do a double take at the price list. £1.99 for 2 pieces of fried Chicken, fries and can of Pepsi. That can't be right I thought! I love fried chicken so that was what I ordered. The elderly lady who took my order was lovely and this is obviously a family run business. There was a steady trickle of people so I had to wait while my fries were cooked. I don't mind that because it means everything is fresh. Sure enough a couple of minutes later I received 2 pieces of lovely juicy chicken, piping hot fries and a can of Pepsi! What an absolute bargain. There are seats and tables if you wish to eat in as I did because it was raining outside. When I left the old lady smiled and said goodbye, charming. They have lots of meal deals on chicken, burgers, pizzas, kebabs etc... and for the prices they are charging it would be rude not to go back! The menu is basically the same as Nando's too - you can get a serving of wings, or a half or quarter chicken, or a chicken breast in a pitta, as well as salas and platters and the like. How does it measure up to Nando's? Well, the food is cheaper, the service is quicker, and it's never as busy as Nando's always seems to be.
