They do move the queues very well though. Great chips. They have a large menu (all the usual suspects are there) But they are dreadful if you are a vegetarian the only meals on offer are mushroom foo Yung, curried mixed veg , curried mushrooms, mushroom omelette and well that's about it. No veggie starters either. As hubby says thank goodness for cheese and onion pies! The pies ARE very good. They are Hollands pies(best in the universe!!!)

Nando's on Blackpool Road in Preston is located as part of the Deepdale Shopping Park, a short…read moredistance away from the city centre, right by the football stadium that Preston North Ends calls home. It's pretty much your typical Nando's, with this location serving halal chicken. As with any Nando's in general, you can order via the Nando's app / QR code at your table, or if you prefer the personal touch there is always the option of ordering at the counter. If like me, you have an allergy, you will need to order at the counter with a manager to ensure the request is sanctioned correctly. I did find the food expensive for what it is, as of March 2024, my meal came to £15, which I find to be a little expensive for fast casual, and that doesn't include extras such as drinks and Perinaise. The prices also seem to be rising out of control too, even in the current climate they seem to be putting their prices up every couple of months, much more frequently than rivals. They also don't offer regular mayonnaise despite being a chicken restaurant, so you'll have to choose between their vegan alternative or pay extra for their Peri-naise (mayonnaise mixed with peri-peri sauce). My meal as a whole came to £16 with tap water, they would only allow me to have a small glass of the water too, so I annoyingly had to keep going back to the water fountain for more during my meal. This particular location is reasonably good, I was able to get a table and was served quite quickly despite visiting on a busy Saturday. The staff seemed friendly enough although service seemed more fast-paced as they had to deal with the crowds. There were a lot of tables in the restaurant, some seemed a little close together and difficult to pass through, but they did a good job getting food out considering this. My food was OK, although I've certainly had better at other Nando's locations. The chips were piping hot, but the rest of my meal was warm. The portion size of the chicken and the fries was good, although they seemed to be ungenerous with the peri-salt on the chips, and I had to request extra. I also noticed the portion of spicy rice was less than normal, and felt flattened down to look like there was more than there was. 3* - Many positives for sure, but also many areas for improvement.

My family of 10 and I came in on an afternoon and the servers were super accommodating with us. We waited for about 15 mins before they seated us. The UK menu is deff more extensive than the US menu so to try something different, I went with the sunset burger with creamy mash and garlic bread as my two sides The sunset burger was so delicious! I was skeptical about the red pepper relish but it was delicious with the hot sauce I chose for my chicken. The creamy mash (which I had very high expectations for) wasn't that great :( I prefer the the US version of is. Everything else that the rest of my party got was great. The servers were very sweet and the location is big enough to accommodate big parties.

The people running the place are very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent! Some of the best curry I have had in a long time. I ordered the Handi Gosht, and my wife the Chicken Tika Masala. Both were excellent and rich with flavour. Especially the Handi. We also had lamb samosas that were great too. The garlic naan is served on a huge spiked pole! They tailor the spice level to whatever you prefer and are fine with changing it if it's not hot enough. This place is cash or cheque only, and is BYOB. There's a great brew pub across the street where you can buy bottles to go and bring them into the restaurant. Overall a very satisfying experience I would recommend to any curry lover!

But decided to have a go based on reviews on the site. My usual starter of lamb chops £3.50 was made up of 3 really skinny bones with meat well marinated and the result is yummy. Mains : Pilau rice, Balti Jalli Bhuna with chicken and Vindaloo with lamb. Rice authentic with colours, fluffy and greasiness acceptable. Balti chicken cooked nice and juice with the sauce smooth and visible fresh chopped herbs in it. I found it to be on the sour side. Maybe just me! And finally the vindaloo. WOW! These guys really pack the heat in! I could barely taste the balti after having some of the lamb vindy. Meats were ok but again I felt the sauce was too sour for my tastes. On the plus side the delivery service is fast n driver very pleasant. Not to mention it being slightly cheaper. Will be back for Round 2!

There are the usual English chippy foods plus a huge variety of Chinese meals, some of which I have never heard of before; Cantonese-style fried pasta dishes for example,Special Broccoli and the mixed skewers of king prawn and chicken (not mixed on the skewers). We have now had six meals from here within a week - it is that impressive, and we wanted to find out what some of the meals were! Calling in, the staff are very welcoming and helpful. When we ordered over the 'phone, we found that we were well within the two miles distance for free delivery, although they only charge a pound a mile after that. All-in-all, I would heartily recommend the Sea Breeze to anyone who enjoys Chinese food.
