Being sober, I was in a good place to judge the quality of the food, despite the relative lateness of the hour. I actually opted for the basic donner with salad, chilli sauce, garlic mayo & the standard whole green pickled Peperoncini chilies (a condiment combination recommended by my cousin - who's been here before - but with the peperoncini added myself - gotta have those). I'd say it was a decent kebab for an after party binge, but not necessarily one I would choose for during the day. This place gets extra marks, however, for their use of lavash bread. It's advertised as Naan on the menu, but it isn't, it's much thinner and quite tasty, making a change from the norm. Perhaps, for this reason, I'll return to try their chicken or mixed kebab.

Being a retail park location, right next to the motorway, this might be the easier location to visit if you're not shopping at The Trafford Centre, or skiing at The Chill Factor, you can pretty much park right outside and walk right in. I have passed this location before and noticed it to be closed during the opening times, perhaps this could be due to ongoing issues and having so many locations in such a small area, but they're generally open until 10 PM daily. I like the interior of this location too, with the lighting and back wall, it feels so futuristic, almost like an alien spaceship. The seats also have padding on the back, making them more comfortable, and there are several booths here. I called in on my way home and decided to forego my regular Nando's order, and just order a 1/4 Chicken to eat when I get home. The staff were friendly and the manager who processed my order gave me the choice between a breast or leg piece - again simple but as I much prefer the breast to the leg, this made a huge difference to me. The chicken was good, for a 1/4 chicken, it had so much meat on it, it was good quality and I liked the taste of the hot sauce, it gave it a bit more of a kick. When I was collecting my food, the Nandoca still offered me a selection of napkins and sauces, despite it being such a small order so they didn't skimp on the sauces knowing I'd ordered just a little bit of food. I do find the prices a little high at Nando's, for the kind of place that it is, and the prices keep going up every couple of months too. I also dislike the fact they no longer offer Mayonnaise, replacing it with a vegan alternative or a paid Peri-naise (Mayonnaise + Peri-Peri Sauce) 4* - A very good Nando's in terms of the quality of food and service, which I will return to in the near future.

The staff are lovely and helpful and they also provide free local delivery if you order over £10, which is basically 2 main courses. My only gripe . . . they dont offer plantain, but im over it, because the rest of the menu is so good.

The interior is pleasant and clean. there is a good number of large booths which would be suitable for groups of at least six people. Despite dining on a Saturday, I was happy that my group of three was able to use one. The staff are friendly and the usual Nando's allergen protocols are followed with managers taking the allergen orders at the till, rather than scanning the QR code on the table. General staff members were aware of this and able to explain this including the basic concept and where to find everything (Sauces, Drinks, Cutterly etc). Sadly, due to Nando's switching their mayonnaise to a vegan alternative (Even though they are a meat restaurant!), I had to bring my own. I ordered a medium spiced Chicken Butterfly with Peri Chips and Spicy Rice. The cost of this meal has gone up a lot over the years. As of August 2023, it came to £14.20 which is a little pricey for the nature of the restaurant. I ordered water to drink. I was annoyed to be given a smaller glass, which meant I had to make more trips to the water fountain which would pour out the water at the slowest speed. Checked Yelp and saw it'd been a few years since the last review, so looked at Just Eat and saw they had a lot of positive feedback so gave them a whirl. The order was taken with minimal fuss and I was told it'd be a 30-45 minute wait which is pretty standard. It arrived just over half an hour later and it was all still piping hot. The Seaweed Combination Starter (BBQ rib, sesame prawn toast, spring roll, samosa, crispy won ton, seaweed and sweet & soup dip) was well presented and all tasted delicious - the only comment was that the samosa was a bit of a strange inclusion. For the main it was Chicken Szechuan with egg fried rice, which had plenty of chicken and the sauce was just the right level of spiciness for me (i.e. not very). The portion size is generous so there's another meal of leftovers now in the fridge. There are also a few Thai dishes on the menu which I'll try next time. Tip: they only accept cash payments. Tip: they're closed on Tuesdays but otherwise open 16:30 to 23:00 Wednesdays to Mondays.

Anyone driving through Sale can't fail to have noticed the lucky wok... Right on the main road through Sale, just behind Sainsburys, it is certainly prominent. Its location also must mean that there is little in the way of passing trade (beyond the traffic on the dual carriageway outside!), and certainly nowhere convenient to stop in a car. As such, the delivery service offered is integral in bringing the bags of egg fried rice, stir fried mixed veg with cashews, spring rolls and prawn crackers along with a few other standard dishes fresh and hot to my door. Actually, the food was average, but let's face it, most takeaways are aren't they? It was freshly cooked though, still hot when it arrived, and came with a handful of fortune cookies chucked in the box too. Can't say fairer than that.

They serve chicken which is made fresh daily, burgers, kebabs and shakes. Everything appeared to be prepared to order which is great - they even have a tandoor to cook the breads and meat for the kebabs.
