Well came in with gf for nail work. We were a bit late and they waited for us. That was nice. Although it was fri eve and snowing out. Wasn't too busy. We went to a movie here at the Regal in the Mall then nails. We were on a different row so we could talk very well. We had to talk loud when we had questions across the room. That wasn't cool. But we made the best of it. It actually went fast. Once my gf had everything picked out we did xmas decos and voila. Although I did have to help my gal with explanation how to put rhinestones on in the shape I wanted. A bit dis functionable on her part. The rhinestones were sticking to her tool instead of my nails. Terrible manicure, rude staff. My nieces and daughter--college students-- went for a birthday celebration. The next day 2 of theirs chipped and 4 days later peeled completely off. Manager was rude, said the girls did something wrong by not placing them under the lights properly or their nails were oily. When I said it was staff responsibility to prepare them and place them, she said it wasn't staff who did their nails!? Don't waste your time or money here read more

For my little sisters birthday I decided to take her to get her nails done today which is 10/16/2022 Sunday. We had an appointment for 1 pm and we got right in. The lady who did my nails did not clean the under side of my nails or cut them, she buffed my actual fingers which caused pain and I will submit a picture of my nails below. She did 2 coats of shellac and it was very very streaky so I asked for her to do another layer and was very silent and then did it. There are still little dents and scrapes on my nails and the services were very rushed and took 28 minutes for me and my sister. The lady who did my sisters nails did an ok job but my sister found a hair in her nail after we left and there was paint on her fingers. I am not happy with the service but I still left a tip. Also the customer next to my sister was telling her nail tech how to do her nails because the nail tech wasn't doing a good job. I hate to leave a bad review but am not happy with the services. read more

They did an amazing job on my daughter's nails! She was really nervous and they made her feel comfortable.

I called the place before I went (several places that said they allowed walk-ins online and were supposed to be open were closed upon arrival). They said they require appointments but since it wasn't busy he could make an appointment for me within the hour. There were only 2 nail assistants when I arrived but I was helped right away. I asked for stiletto colored French tips, selected my own colors from a wide variety and was seated with a very polite young lady. She remained friendly and lightly bantered throughout the 45 minutes in the salon (15 of it was the nails drying under a light). She trimmed back all my cuticles , buffed out my nails, applied ointment, did fill gel and paint. Overall very gentle. I didn't realize until she had already painted two of the nails fully that she didn't hear me say stiletto colored FRENCH tips. Not wanting her to have to redo the nails, I relented and allowed myself rainbow stilettos, which looking back, matched every outfit! The full gel set was only 25$ and considering other places I've went to in the area.. I'll be coming back!! 10/10 would recommend, just speak a little louder through the mask. read more

My boyfriend and I get pedicures every couple of months and I was lucky to take our last trip on my birthday to Nancy Nails at The Lansing Mall. This looks like your average nail salon, but they offer some pedicure add-ons that made the experience more relaxing and memorable. We ended up spending $40 each for our pedicures and I paid a little extra on-top of that for shellac polish. We got a regular pedicure with a hot towel wrap, hot stone leg massage, sugar scrub, and special foot lotion to help them stay soft and smooth. I can't remember all of the different options as there were quite a few that ranged from ~$30-50ish (give or take) depending on what you wanted. I came here with 2 other people to get shellac manicures and 2 of our manicures began to chip and then peel the day after getting them done. I messaged the salon online, with no response. So I called, and the manager spoke very aggressively to me about how she does not check Facebook and it is not her problem that I messaged on Facebook first before calling. A friend and I went in needing a relaxing pedicure on Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too busy so we got right in, which was nice. Since Covid I have gotten use to the bag protectors they sit inside the bowl during your service. Nancy nails didn't offer this, but I didn't think it a big deal at the time. The service was decent, extremely rushed, but it was fine. My friend got reg polish so she was sat under the dryer while they were finishing up with my shellac. As I was putting my socks back on I heard a woman come in and ask for a pedicure. The technician quickly told her to have a seat in the chair next to me and began to fill the bowl. The pedicure bowl was NEVER sanitized or even simply wiped out. We got the deluxe pedicures which included removal of dry skin and of course nail clippingsnthat we're still attached to the towel. I could not believe they sat a client down before even using a Lysol wipe. While we sat and waited for my friends nails to dry, we watched as the technician used the same exact tools that were just used under our toe nails on her new client. I received an excellent acrylic fill here yesterday. They were extremely accommodating to my walk in appointment, and I waited less than five minutes and the fill itself only took about 45 which is great since I was going on my lunch break! The tech was extremely detailed in giving my manicure, and he was able to get very even and not overly thick acrylics. The fill itself was only $15, and I paid $3 extra for a nail repair and $3 extra for an upgraded polish. I will definitely return here! read more

I used to love Nancy nails, recommended a lot of friends go there. Literally been going there since high school mind you I'm in my thirty's but my last few times going there were HORRIBLE. First time I went in February to get my nails and toes done for my baby shower... they had me and my friend soak our feet the water was scorching hot even tho I told her it burned she did nothing to help. On top of that they helped all the people who came after us before they helped us and we had an appointment. My nails turned out good but the experience was horrible. Then I go back for a fill the lady doing my nails (an older lady that looked young but you can tell by the crepe skin on her hands she was older) was rude and had an attitude the entire time. As if I was inconveniencing her. Then she got an attitude I wanted three colors on my nails and said but it costs more... well ok that's what I want. The polish ended up peeling bad and it was shellac which made me mad. So I try one more time to go there and I get the same lady I asked her to take my long nail off and just put acrylic on my real nail she literally stabbed me while taking the nails off a few times and when I tried pull my hand back because I told her she was hurting me she yanked my hand and told me to be still. Then she put tips on my nails then got an attitude I had her cut them really low. My finish set were different shapes, lengths, and crooked the nails started going off after a week and I do not recommend this place to anybody anymore! read more

At this point another client had come in and was waited on. This is a very busy salon and you need to make appointments. i usually go to this salon because they do a good job every other time i've been there, but i went today at like 5:30 and i they told me to sit down and then the dude came over and i was getting a full set gel and he starts doing them and when he glues on the nails and asks me if i want them long or short so i say long and he just starts cutting them short and i couldn't do anything about it bc they were already glued on then he put the acrylic part on very weird he put it on the plastic part first on every single nail then when over it again and put it on the beds of my nail. There was way to much on and u could tell. he starts to buff them and stuff and literally all but like 2 are crooked. and after he puts the polish on it looks like something i could've done at home. I never come to this salon unless it is a Sunday and my nails need repair and NO ONE else is open.... the tech doing my nails spent more time yelling across the salon at other employees than she did giving me any kind of attention. I only get shellac on my own nails and have been for about two years, after 5 days the top layer of the shellac I received at this salon began to peel off my nails. Also, they got that polish nowhere near my cuticles so after one week I look like I have not given my nails any attention for about three weeks. The cost....$40 for an eyebrow wax and shellac on nails, no design....Ummmmmm, no...I did not even want to tip but she got $5 out of me because I just don't do that... Save your money or find another salon...they are not personable, will pay you no attention accept when it is time to get paid for service and tip and the service is rushed and sloppy! read more

I will NEVER go to this place again. First, it was crowded (aka cluttered). My granddaughter and I stood at the doorway while some random person yells across the room "what do you want?". I said that we would like pedicures and manicures. She yells back "sign in". We finally spotted a piece of paper and signed in. They directed us to the pedicure chairs, we had to just find a corner to throw our coats and boots. The whole time they were talking and laughing between themselves in their language with an occasional directive to us. Paige was done first so they sent her to the nail area. I continued to have my pedicure across the room from Paige. The whole object was to spend time and spoil my granddaughter before she had to return to college right?? Well her nails all looked beautiful but I did not like mine. The polish was awful, especially on my fingernails. He said he had to put on bright pink b/c you could see through and it didn't cover well. It was thick and actually messed up outside the shop but there was no way I was returning. It's been 3 days and it's almost off my fingernails, toenails are fine. So If I had it to do again I would have forgone my fingernails and saved myself $$. read more
