Dr. Azizi is rude. Also they kept my $300 deposit when I was called out of town for a family emergency. Done with them. Dental assistant were great though. read more

There is a good reason why this practice only has a 3.1 rating! Veneers are supposed to last on average for 15 years. I had one come off in less than a year. Dr. Azizi originally assured me that she stands behind her work, but only fixed the veneer when I asked for my dental records to be transferred to my new dentist. The entire process was incredibly frustrating. I felt that Dr. Azizi was all about the money. read more

I'm answering for my husband. He saw this dentist and afterwards wanted to speak to her about the treatment plan. She never called and after that he had to call the office to get a refund of his deposit. He canceled the appointment but his deposit was not returned. He had to call 10 days later. read more

She is great. Thoughtful and smart. Her office got a family member in for an emergency right away and took great care of us. Whole staff is lovely and the place is so relaxing. Highly recommend! read more

This review is being posted again since it was taken down. Getting one star because zero isn't a option. I took my special needs Daughter to Vineyard dental. When I say special needs, my Daughter is extremely intelligent but suffers from severe OCD. I guess I made the mistake by telling the booking staff of her condition. We didn't pick Dr. Azizi we picked another doctor. We were called into the interview room, to see if we would be accepted into the practice. What a joke! The Doctor was more interested in what I was wearing and my Ex husband's relationship with me and our daughter's OCD than her teeth. Nothing like making a child that has a condition feel more awkward than questioning her. Dr Azizi made sure she told us, that she wasn't sure that they would accept my Daughter once again, so I guess my daughter had to pass the test of being examined and having x-rays. I was there, she had no problem. I forgot my daughter told the doctor she sometimes gagged. That's all the ammunition the doctor needed. We were told that her staff wasn't equipped to deal with patients that had gagging issues or needed a break doing a procedure. Our Daughter needed a couple of teeth extracted, she said she couldn't do it because my Daughter needed to be put to sleep, because her tongue was to strong. Also that my Daughter would need to go to a sleep dentistry practice, because no one could take care of her unless she was put to sleep. The sleep dentistry practice is in San Francisco, I had told her before, I was disabled and couldn't drive there. She told me to get uber! So sleep dentistry and Uber? Not all of us have the financial flexibility to do that. The work that we were told had to be done was not justified. We were dismissed, as if we were rejected for not measuring up to their standards. Of course with a bill for the x-rays they had no problem taking. I kept quiet because I didn't want to upset my Daughter. I went home and called Clinic Ole, they got her in right away. She has had a tooth pulled, 2 fillings, x-rays and no problems at all. No big tongue syndrome lol. She is amazing getting worked on. This is a money making factory not a dentist office. I would rather have all my teeth fall out, before I would ever step foot in there. Just because you are on the cover of a small town magazine, doesn't make you reputable. Stop believing your own hype. read more

Don't give this practice your time. There is a total disconnect between the front and back office resulting in multiple errors, mis-steps and drama. They mis- scheduled me resulting in multiple trips, humiliated me in the waiting room in ear shot of other customers and staff members and then fired me for complaining causing further inconvenience in having to find another dentist. At first I was quite charmed by the atmosphere and the lead dentist, Nancy totally pressed me for a good review as soon as I complimented her on the office, are you a Google reviewer or a yelp reviewer? She asked more about my online reviewing habits than my actual chart/medical history. I scheduled my child and I for cleanings etc and when we were done I was informed that they had done an exam but not cleaned my daughters teeth, they were too busy. Her subsequent appointment was rebooked twice. I came back on another visit and got the distinct impression that the dentist: Dr. Jung didn't want to be there. I have to wear earphones to disassociate from the drilling and the fact that I sometimes couldn't hear her direction seemed to really annoy her, she frequently sighed and sent her eyes towards the heavens. I went to pay out in the front office I was told I needed to schedule another cleaning in two months. Everyone knows it's a 6 month gap between cleanings so I asked why in 2 months and was told that "until your home hygiene improves we have to do more cleanings." And then several people waiting there in the front to pay or make appointments all looked at me like I never brush my teeth and I was really hoping to suddenly become invisible. You know those record screeches that come on when a character in a TV shows says something super awkward and everything just - like -stops and everyone in the room near and far looks at them? Yep, just like that. Now just to give you context, dear reader, I am a colon cancer patient who has been answering a nurse's questions about my bowel movements in front of other chemo patients also getting infusions within earshot for about 5 years now. I don't embarrass easily. I phoned them the next day, discreetly complaining by telephone later so as not to embarrass them like they'd embarrassed me. It's on my chart and an aspect of all my care that I'm in aggressive chemo, I haven't had a cleaning in over 2 years because I was specifically advised not to and actually needed a doctor's note to book a cleaning. Like- it's super duper clear. How do you have such a carefully designed atmosphere and then treat people so carelessly? So, after I complained, they wrote me a letter and fired me which really floored me. Then I got another letter: they forgot to charge me for the $140 cleaning for my daughter they rescheduled twice. I followed up with them first by letter then by telephone explaining that if you forget to schedule enough time then forget to charge then embarrass someone in front of a group of strangers and then fire them, and then repeatedly hound them for the $140 they forgot to charge, the client might not want to pay it because they've been repeatedly inconvenienced and then treated poorly, can you see; I asked Rosa the billing manager after waiting on hold for 20 minutes, why a customer might not want to pay after all that? It's not a large sum of money, about 2% of my total bill, who makes those decisions? Rosa said she does. OK, well, can you understand why I wouldn't want to pay that? I was told the bill would go to collections. I told them if they were going to hold my credit score hostage then I'd like to speak to the dentist or I would just pay the money and write a bad review which I'd thought of doing but did not want to waste even more time. I was then called by the lead dentist Nancy who said she thought I was "classy" and why would I "intimidate and extort them" in order to not pay a bill. So between the front office and the back office something got totally blown out of proportion again: Intimidate and extort? It's a customer service issue I wrote a letter and then called twice to resolve. Nancy phoned up and my character was questioned: like it's not personal, it's a bill and I'm unsatisfied, why question my character? I wanted to explain that I was not paying because I was inconvenienced multiple times. In any business---large or small---when you inconvenience the customer it's fairly standard to have to take a small hit to your delivery fee or restaurant check or commission or service fee, because you did not deliver the service as promised---plain and simple. I wasn't sure why I then had to be pathological in some respect not to pay it. A lot of drama in this office. Stay away. read more

I went there once. Where do I begin... She is expensive. She wanted to do a lot of work that never needed to get done. . Let's be honest, no one enjoys going to the dentist, but if you want to roll the dice and get a reminder of why people hate dentists give her a try. Go there if you want to be judged and shamed Terrible bedside manner and medieval tactics. Nice office though. read more

I'm gonna be honest here, I'm pretty hesitant to write a good review on here, because I don't want the secret to get out about Dr. Nancy Azizi of Vinyard Dental in Napa because of her professional staff having the best dentistry practice on earth! Dr. Azizi is the best straight up! In what world is anybody stoked on their dentist? I've recommended her to all my friends, family an coworkers. I remember the years of dreading the visit to the dentist. I remember the years of avoiding the dentist at all costs. It's hilarious to think about that now I am so looking forward to my next appointment! I am recommending a dentist! What? Who says those words? " I am looking forward to my next appointment! " And not any dentist, but only Dr. Azizi at Vinyard Dental in Napa! I am all smiles with my gorgeous teeth, still of course a project in the works. I remember when Nancy asked me "do you want healthy beautiful teeth or do you just want them cleaned?" Dr Azizi explained to me that were not just about dental, but we care about your health too!" Nancy made her personal connection with me right from the beginning, "we're more like a close family and about close friends at our dentistry" "We care about our patients teeth, beautiful smile, and your health." Dr. Azizi dentistry provide many services, while Nancy and her staff are preparing, I was getting a facial, yes I said, a facial! My gosh, seriously, a facial? Wow! That says it all! The office is beautiful, professional, and a class act. All the equipment is clean, sterile, and modern. The chairs are comfortable with a flat screen attached with assorted music, may I suggest the spa sounds that provide tranquility while getting your facial! Most important I was called days later because of a cancelation and was back in the chair hours later! Wow!!! From the 2 gorgeous ladies at the front handling insurance and appointments, the hygienists who explain in detail the specifics of your x rays, flossing, cleaning, and of course the gorgeous, but professional Dr. Nancy Azizi explaining her concerns of my high blood pressure to my long term dental goals, Vinyard Dental in Napa I give 5 stars for a class act dentistry. Down right AMAZING! Gregory read more

Nancy Azizi, DDS - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Napa, California

What an attitude and ego. "I'm the Thomas Keller of dentists." Her (Azizi's exact quote.) Proceeded to give a full estimate of various services, of which we were considering having done. Then the following day, wrote an email to us explaining that we were not fit to be a patient of hers. Didn't even get beyond an exam and she went ahead and made this assumption that we were not worthy of being a patient of her office, with no clear explanation as to why. Reading these other reviews, looks like we dodged a bullet. read more

Im going to be honest here, too. Dr. Azizi is the best dentist Ive ever been to. She has the latest technology and absolutely the most talented hygienists. Dont listen to any negative reviews, meet her, listen to her consult, discuss your insurance with the office, theyre not out of pricerange, and ink them in your contacts. Ive been going to her for many years. Example 1 of many: I needed a crown, they expertly made it right there, no wait and no "crown adjusting" you know, when your mouth has to adjust to the crown...none of that. With the technology and talent, it was perfect and still is today! Love u guys! read more

Was referred to Vineyard Dental from a close personal friend who is currently an existing patient with Dr. Azizi and Dr. Lam. The Medical Office is relaxing and reminisce of the Four Seasons Resort in Maui, and the medical services provided were even more professional than the setting! This place is one of the worse in town second time there and is expensive is over price. I got a teeth cleaning and they said I have to pay for that bcuz it was a part of a gum treat when I asked what was the difference no one was able to to the difference between the cleaning for the treatment and a regular cleaning that is wrong i think they just wanted insurance money bcuz the treatment cost the same as the amount I get from my benefits... what a re the odds of being the same amount I do not recommend this place read more

Not sure about any negative reviews below - guess you have to see for yourself that this practice and Dr. Azizi are amazing! They are all so professional, warm and it really does seem like going to a spa. You can get a facial while you are in the chair and listen to relaxing music. The front desk gals and all the assistants I've met so far a wonderful. Dr. Azizi is amazing always takes an extra minute to chat and is very personable. I'm picky about my dentist and the staff at my dental offices. This is my third dentist since I moved to Napa and I found a perfect fit. I'm here to stay! read more

I had an uncomfortable experience with Azizi!! She feels a personal finance is more important than personal health care. Took full mouth xrays and first told me I didn't have any cavities. Then she changed her mind and said I had a big one. She told me I needed to have 5 teeth extracted!! She misdiagnosed my entire mouth. I left the office and immediately asked around. I was referred to a dentist downtown. Took the xrays to show him for a second opinion. He properly diagnosed what was going on. Said I just needed ONE tooth extracted!!! He referred me to a dentist who extracts and had called them by the time I went to see this THIRD dentist for an opinion. He agreed with the second opinion, that I just need one tooth extracted. Fortunately it turned out well. As far as the advertising of a spa feeling as you walk in the office, FAR FROM THE TRUTH! I kept looking and sniffing for any evidence of a spa! read more

Do not go to this dentist. She is vile and unethical. She told me I had many things wrong and that I couldn't not schedule my next appointment until I paid for everything in full for upcoming visits. The total would have been almost 2,000. I paid for what I owed for that day and left, but not without a fight from her front office staff who we're told to not let me leave without getting my credit card info. . I had a second opinion to find out 90 % of what she told me was false. She was condescending, rude and had zero bedside manner. read more

Lovely front entrance, comfy couches and a great fire place. Charming woman with a very soft voice explains how well they will take care of me (you). Smile photos and x-rays follow. Then they move on to the consultation. Crazy Azizi explains all the things that you have had before are wrong and challenges your every question! Run away as fast as you can! read more

Very nice staff...they best in the business. .....but I was told I needed a root canal for a tooth that didn't need one (after months of complaining and trying to figure out the problem) so I finally decided to go to another dentist and he said I would definitely not do a root canal on that tooth. Saved me a bunch and saved my insurance a bunch. I actually really liked her office but to have me do extra when it is unnecessary is scary. I wish her and her staff the best but I had to go with someone with less spa and more dental.....oh and there use to be more negative posts on yelp to th is company. ...wonder where they went? read more

I went to Dr. Azizi based on a profile article on her practice published in a local magazine a few months back. I am glad I went. I ended up needing lots of work; crown and replacement filings. Dr Azizi is a most superb dentist and all round pleasant person to deal with. Her office is gorgeous - beautifully designed and pristine in its hygiene. More importantly, her staff are very friendly and professional. They put you at ease as soon as you walk in. Most importantly, when it's time for the dental work to start, Dr Azizi assesses your situation, discusses options and displays all the details on the computer screen - showing you the teeth in question and explaining exactly what is going on. Dr Azizi explains every step, what to expect and gives you helpful ways to remain calm. If you prefer not to know what is happening, they offer music and entertainment to distract you from the anxiety that comes from having a drill in your mouth. She stands by her work and refers anything outside her core competency to other specialists whom she trusts to give you the same level of care. I cannot recommend her more highly - and I am a very discerning customer! read more

Dr Azizi, Dr Weng, Reina, Jackie, and so many others are the most technically knowledgeable, personally supportive and professional people I have ever ever dealt with. I love and respect these people so much. There is not a visit where Dr Azizi did not attend to me personally. The continuity, and excellent service was there every time. Be it a surgical procedure, a fitting, my insecurities, they were always there. Unbelievable support. I was a patient for 11 straight months and what I state here applies to every visit, phone call and email. The office Is immaculate. Every instrument is sterilized and opened in front of patient. I had a great first experience at Vineyard Dental. Upon entering the office, the waiting room is clean and inviting, and the ladies at the front desk were very friendly! Dr. Azizi came in and introduced herself to me personally, which I did not expect. Since it was my first visit, I got x-rays and had an initial exam but did not expect a cleaning, but they made an effort to fit me in for my cleaning that day, which was perfect! Dr. Azizi started my cleaning until a hygienist finished with another patient, since their schedule seemed pretty booked that day. I got my x-rays, cleaning, AND a mini-facial and left feeling refreshed! The ONLY complaint I had was with a second set of x-rays, which Dr. Azizi said I didn't need because my teeth are in great shape, but they did the anyways after my cleaning. Not sure if it was miscommunication, but I didn't mind since my insurance covered it anyways! Better safe than sorry! I will be back in a few weeks to get a minor chipped tooth filled, and I look forward to it! I follow the practice on instagram and Facebook and have seen their work with cosmetic dentistry and I know I am in good hands. read more

'Dental Spa' ...what an Oxymoron ....since going here I've gone down a 'dental path' to hell... I had to have a crown replaced and Azizi's Associate...Dr. Steiner was trying the permanent new crown on and couldn't get it off...he was tugging at my tooth so much that I was ready to jump out of the chair...he finally got it off and cemented it on. The next day I had the worst pain, I called, went in and he ground the crown down thinking it was too high. Went home and that evening had horrible pain again...I called the next day and was supposed to see Azizi. She was rude, curt and very cold, she mentioned I might have to see her Endodontist. She told me this Associate would not be in until the following week! Anyone that has needed a Root Canal knows what horrendous pain you are in, I was stunned and in so much pain I could barely think. When I got home I gathered myself together and called my Endodontist in Lafayette...they were so kind and thoughtful and I was able to get in the next morning. Long story short...I ended up needing 2 Root Canals on the teeth that were on each side of the one that Dr. had yanked on. Azizi's office wanted to see me after the root canals and I told them I NEVER wanted to see that woman again. read more

I've been going to Dr Azizi for many years now. Each time she is wonderfully professional, gentle, proficient yet has a great bit of empathy and compassion. She has a superb memory for individual details of her patients, including asking about family members. One time I was in the chair and broke down (quite unexpectedly) because I was in the midst of (and taking care of) a loved one's difficult terminal journey. Although I was tremendously embarrassed, she made it ok, and took the time to sit with me and talk, and never gave me the impression she was needing to move on with my treatment. She is a class act, so is all her staff, and they always have an appointment for someone when they have an urgent manner. And her office and the adjunctive care, calming treatments offered with cleanings...a total "ahhhhh," read more

I had a fantastic first experience at Vineyard Dental today. Dr. Azizi went out of her way to discuss an array of topics with me, including a personalized explanation of how the billing and insurance system works. Where else does your doctor/dentist take that kind of time with you?? You can expect some level of "upselling" at a cosmetic dentist office - but I didn't feel pressured to do more than I needed to for my basic dental health. Should I want to go back for something more cosmetic I feel confident this would be a trustworthy place to do it. The office environment is the nicest dentist office I've ever been to and Dr. Azizi is genuinely committed to the health AND satisfaction of her customers. Her staff is exceptionally trained and she clearly expects outstanding performance from them. I felt comfortable expressing my needs and questions and she was absolutely happy to oblige. read more

Wow, I just moved to Napa recently from Carmel and a friend referred me to Vineyard Dental and Dr. Azizi in particular. I know why she is such a good friend, she has outstanding advise. From the moment you walk through the doors there is a realization that this is no ordinary dental office. Even while the decor is reflective of a lush boutique hotel, it is the level of service that raises the bar from what is typically expected of a visit to the dentist. With kind and competent team members, and state-of-the-art equipment that makes collecting all the "data" painless and fascinating, this is not only the best dental office I have encountered but also ranks at the top of my list of "best businesses..." period. As an entrepreneur I am so impressed by the pride of ownership evident in every detail. Owner, Dr. Nancy Azizi, shared with me that she aspired to not only build the best practice in Napa but to become one of the foremost practices in the country, offering an experience patients would expect to encounter in cosmopolitan cities like New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. But don't let the "big city" sophistication intimidate you--because the warm, "neighborly" vibe permeates the place and puts guests immediately at ease. I am thrilled to recommend this practice and eager to bring my entire family back for a surprisingly enjoyable visit to the dentist. read more
