Terrible!! Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere also for your pool. I purchased a above ground pool from Namco less than 5 years ago. I noticed last spring (2024) some small bubbles on the outside wall of pool in many areas. In February of 2025 the pool collapsed? The pool wall cracked and ripped where those bubbles were and in many areas. The pool is made of aluminum and should have lasted 20 plus years. We contacted Namco and their fine print the warranty only covers replacing parts of the pool that were damaged, not the entire pool. I would be responsible for the shipping and handling the parts as well as the install and removal of old pool. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, Go Elsewhere!!!! Honestly if I could ZERO STARS, I would. We bought our pool from them and had it installed in 2022. Our pool was not even 3 years old. From Day one we were complaining about a leak from the skimmer. They would not help us, we continued to complain as it was beginning to rust during the first year. We did everything they told us, closed it properly, used chemicals from their stores. In January our Pool EXPLODED! My husband noticed three hours earlier when he was out there the crack, had this explosion happened when he was there he would have been killed instantly. Chunks of ice 4ft by 1.5 ft blew 6ft uphill. Another chunk of ice hit our deck, had this not been there, my 15 yr old daughter would have been Impaled. When we told NAMCO this they said "Thats not our problem" NAMCO refuses to help us with this issue and BBB said because its over 2 years so they cannot help us. The installer of this pool was JP Pools out of Plainville, CT. Namco did all the dealings with that company, we had no contact with them. I have been trying to get in touch with store since Tuesday June 2. I have called customer service they insured me every day they have escalated my call to store. NOPE! They took my charge card with no problems charged it right away on Sunday but can't get a hold of them to see if my pool pump came in! Worst thing was I went into Southington store on Saturday and the young women couldn't be bothered with me because all I needed was a pump not entire pool. I must not of been worth her time! I walked out of store! I went to Rocky Hill on Sunday and the sales associate was apologetic! No one can answer phone or return calls! Never will give them another cent again! read more

Bunch of idiots. Very few items have a price so it's always a surprise when you get to the register. The customer in front of us was very upset for them not stocking a filter they advertise on sale...and would not sell him the display model because "they needed it to show other customers"...(something they can't buy either). We politely expressed out frustration with their lack of price labeling and all we got was a rude "have a nice day" 3x over as if they didn't want to hear it. This is valuable feedback that you would think would be welcomed but when you are dealing with a bunch of dumb kids I guess this is what you should expect. They ran out of chlorine at the peak of the season. Go elsewhere like Job Lot and buy only what you have to at Namco is my advice. read more

We just purchased our first pool and I have to say, Samantha made the process so easy. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and really made sure we got everything we needed. Pending installation, we are extremely happy and so excited to have our small oasis in our backyard UPDATE. Went from 5 to 1 Star. It has been 3 weeks since we purchased this pool with promise of completed installation by 6/28. As of this morning we had not heard anything from them. We started leaving messages Friday asking for ANYONE to contact us to let us know what's going on. I called the store and asked to speak to Samantha who was busy so I ended up speaking to Miguel who was less than helpful. He said they sent corporate an email and that was all he could do. Later in the day my husband calls me asking for the # for corporate because he just spoke to Miguel who wouldn't give him the number because he said he already gave it to me (which he did not). My husband then drove to the store and this guy refused to give him the number again!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! This is where we are right now. I would not recommend this store. I bought a pool in June and I was told it will be delivered by July 20. I got part of my order delivered by august 11 and no one is able to tell me when the rest of the items will be delivered. The store staff is not helpful at all, and the manager from the Rocky Hill store is rude and has awful customer service skills. read more

The absolute worst customer service!!!! Purchased a hot tub in January 2020 and it started leaking in June. Never returned our phone calls so we had to actually go into the store to get help. A tech came out that day to diagnose but had to order the part. He said it should be in the next week. That was three weeks ago. We have left messages for the tech, managers at the RH store, and the corporate office....no return calls. I finally reached the asst manager today and he told me that the tech we had left the company. Why would no one from Namco reach out to us???? He actually asked me what part we needed. We also were promised screws that the tub needed when we purchased it.....still waiting. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM NAMCO, ESPECIALLY JACUZZI!!!!! read more

I bought a pump here that had a serious problem in the first 40 days. They took the time to thoroughly troubleshoot the issue right away, and see if they could resolve the issue. They covered this under the manufacturer warranty, and had me on my way with a replacement within 20 minutes. Outstanding service from Robert, and friendly and knowledgeable as well. I recently purchased a home that came with a Jacuzzi. I have never owned a hot tube before and I watched endless YouTube videos to prepare myself for the upcoming responsibilities of maintenance. When I was ready to set up the tub, I ventured out to buy the chemicals and other necessities and I decided to try Namco. Conner greeted me as soon as I entered the store. He patiently listened to all my concerns and questions regarding the care and upkeep of a Jacuzzi and then he helped me pick out the chemicals. He educated me on the differences/ pros/ and cons of bromine vs. chlorine and he supported my decision. I really liked working with him. When I was ready for my second visit to talk calcium and cleaners, he was also ready to answer my second wave of questions. I really cannot say enough about how grateful I am for Conner's presence and help when I was making these decision and purchases. Conner helped me set up a rewards program and I am on my way to a reward soon! He made me feel valued as a customer and honestly, he is the reason I have returned to the store each time I have needed additional products. read more

Worst customer service concerning warranty on my pool. Sixth season with pool and wall has rusted through in several spots. Not so much the pool problem that bothers me, it's their warranty department. They tell you it takes up to 7 business days to process. Then a week after the initial process they say they need more pictures. Then 2 weeks after that when you say you would like contact information for a manager to discuss your situation they just don't respond. Wish I'd have known this when I spent over $7500. on the pool..... They were very helpful that day. read more

We have been loyal customers with Namco for 40+ years, and we have never had a problem. Last winter was very rough on our pool, leaving algae'ed leaves on the bottom, causing stains. Then the pollen came. We've also had filter issues. With all of these factors, the pool has been an issue all summer. Many trips to Namco for this or that. Your employees are an absolute pleasure to do business with! Most recent and notable, the Manager and Assistant Manager (I'm sorry I forget their names now!), they know their stuff inside out. Without their help, our pool wouldn't be operational. I brought the motor for the filter into the store, as it had sprung a leak... we feared the worst... a new filter! But the Manager knew exactly what the problem was, and she ran to find the part, and advised how to replace it. The Assistant Manager offered to help, upon checkout, to replace that part on the filter motor, and it's working perfectly! You certainly do have the the perfect combo: Great Products + Great Employees = Great Company!! Thank you to the Manager and Assistant, as well as the other staff!!! :) We appreciate you!! read more
