They said they needed serial numbers, manufacture numbers and engine numbers. So I went to Jed's took a couple of pictures of the drain plug hole of the lawnmower. They have just about everything you would need for a quick weekend project. Compared to other hardware stores in the area we have been very impressed by their staff. They are all very knowledgeable and helpful. Today we were looking for a couple of specialty screws and before we could even reach that section of the store two workers asked if we needed help with anything. In addition to hardware supplies, they have a really nice garden section with high-quality plants. We were particularly impressed with their hydrangeas, which were 2-3 times larger than other nurseries we have seen and listed at the same price. Also, worth noting this place is the spot in town to buy a Christmas tree! Right after Thanksgiving they ship in tons of trees and offer them for a flat rate. If you find yourself needing to stop by a hardware store I would highly recommend dropping by Jed's over one of the other big box stores in town.

I did not have the Benjamin Moore color for this room, but was fairly sure it came from Nal's. I went to the store and explained the situation to them. At first they could not find the information needed to determine which paint color was used. They advised that if I could bring bring a small piece of the paint they would be able to match. I did so, and by the time I went back that afternoon they told me they kept looking for my information and found the exact date and colors of the original work that was done. We matched my paint chips to the color they had on record and now my living room touch up's blend in perfectly with the original paint. I thought this was great Customer Service, and really demonstrated a willingness to make the extra effort to help solve the problem. Going forward I will use Nal's for all my painting needs.

I've cheated and gone to The depot to save money or home decor group in Swpt because it's closer, but never again. Recently I've redone three baths. First one I went to home decor group with a picture on my phone. Owner told me he can't match something on my phone and left me to find a similar swatch. Next two projects I went back to waters and brown. Heidi helped me match pictures and made spot on recommendations. I brought in samples and images and she gave great choices to match or coordinate. Then over to the counter for the actual paint. John couldn't be nicer and more helpful (plus he actually remembers me by name and project). Some projects easier than others. More complicated (expensive) projects he gave me questions to ask my contractor and alternatives. I so appreciate the service here. It's second to none and the quality can't be beat.
