What I was supposed to get..thanks Uber Eats for NOTHING.

I ordered food from this location via Uber Eats yesterday (and I never received my food). While I am more than annoyed about this, it's not on Nala, that's on Uber, and I get that. However, I decided to go into the establishment today and purchase a few of the items I was supposed to receive yesterday, today. Today, I re-order the shrimp vindaloo with rice. *Public service announcement* For the folks who don't know, vindaloo is made up of vindaloo sauce, which is usually made from caramelized onions, curry paste, coconut milk, vinegar, ginger, chilies, jalapeno, garlic, chickpeas, lentils, and other spices like salt, pepper, paprika, and turmeric. The vindaloo from the establishment was heavy on chili flakes which was a let down because the chilies in dishes like these are supposed to be simmered down to create the vindaloo itself. Because of this, the vindaloo lacked the punch that one comes to expect. For me, this dish was mediocre at best 2.5/5 I also re-ordered the Aloo Bonda. These were soggy, and that just wont do for a snack like this. The consistency of this snack alone made it unappealing to eat. 2/5

Some really good flavors, but personally, I prefer the whole spices be removed before being served, but not sure that is tradition. I was a bit put off after chomping into s few. One thing for sure, you won't go hungry here. I had a lunch plate. I chose the non veg meal. It came with several "small dishes" of accompaniment and an adequate amount of white rice. Here is the actual description from the menu. I enjoy Indian Food but am far from an expert. It didn't come with any naan which added to my disappointment. I did have a Lassi which was delicious. Indian and Chinese restaurants are getting hit doubly hard right now because of the pandemic and the unjustified hate coming from ignorance. They need your patronage more than ever right now. Napa's also is handling covid precautions well and packages their food very nicely. In Monday's they have a BOGO free special entree deal. We BOGO'd (that's now a word) the Hyderabad chicken biryani, the chicken tikka masala, and the tandoor chicken. We also go some garlic naan and gulab jamun. This all fed 4 hungry people. Don't be afraid of the food being spicy because none of it is. The naan didn't have much flavor, but it got the job done. I do not recommend the chicken tikka masala. The sauce is very underwhelming with an almost chef Boyardee vibe. I think they tailor this to the Texan taste bud. I added some spicy chili sauce at home and that helped. The biryani was tasty! Each tray came with an entire piece of chicken in the middle and it had much for spice and flavor than the masala. I do wish they had served limes though. Luckily I had some at home. The tandoori chicken had good char marks and was moist on the inside. I wish they had kheer for dessert, but instead we got the $4 order of 3 gulab jamun. They were sweet and soft on the inside. If you're near by, this place isn't bad. I just wish they'd spice things up a bit.

Ordered pepper chicken (appetizer) and a family size dosa for to-go. Came back home saw the pepper chicken had loads of gravy, they made it as an entre. In the menu, the family size dosa has a picture with potato fillings in the bowl. The one we got didn't have any potato fillings. The food was okay, dosa chutneys were great. But, I just don't like when restaurants mess up my order.

This is such a disgusting experience, I placed a pick up order from door-dash for idly with chutney and sambar and when I was about to taste the sambar from the container there was a big green fly floating, first I taught it some veggie or something coz they do put some veggies in sambar and to my shock it ended up being a big fly. When restaurants provide with food like this and what if I ate the fly without noticing it ? As this is a restaurant near by my place due to bad rains I taught it picking it up and had to face such horrible incident.

One of the best tasting Indian restaurants in the area. Their veg and non veg combo is the best deal for money. You can also get add ons for the combo. Salon, who helped us with the order, gave suggestions on how each the dishes would be and how much quantity it would be. If you want to get authentic Indian taste and also not to spend too much on your budget, this is the place. Taste 5/5 Ambience 3.5/5 Service 4.5/5

Very cute little place and very colorful inside. The staff was sooo nice and very attentive to my table . We ordered the dosa masala which was delicious and very big lol we both ordered the chicken tikka masala and asked it to be extra spicy. Dish was good but wasn't spicy at all so if I come back they said I have to say "really really spicy" so they know lol either way I'd come back just because of the service alone. The food is tasty but It doesn't make up for the horrible customer service. I placed an online order for curbside pick up. 15mins past the pick up I finally called again and they only answered on the third call. They then told me 15mins. 30mins later I tried to call again and got no answer after several attempts. I went inside to find no one at the desk. Someone finally came up and asked about my order. Went into the back without saying anything or offering an apology. It's now 1 hour past my scheduled pick up time and I'm still waiting. If time/customer service means nothing to you then by all means come here. It means something to be, so I won't be returning. Finally received my order 1hr 15mins past my scheduled pick up time. Not even a word of apology or explanation. Pitiful. read more

I'll start by saying I have not tried the food. However, as a delivery driver that was standing in the waiting area for a minimum of 30 minutes, I feel like I have a good feel for the place. I had a long time to look around. First thought when I went in to pick up an order...yuck. It's filthy just in the entry. If that's how they present themselves upon entering, I really don't want to know what's going on in the kitchen. Although the staff was friendly, I would never order here for myself solely based on the lack of cleanliness that I observed. On top of that, they took FOREVER to complete the orders. Maybe the food is good. But I would never eat here based on my experience. read more

We ordered Thalapakkatu mutton biryani and chicken dum biryani. We got bland coloured basmati rice with some meat pieces mixed in it. Raita and Salan paired with it are too salty.Dont ever order if you want to eat biryani. read more

Placed order for chicken tikka and instead got chicken 65 - was allowed to check out at pickup. Called the restaurant and they were like you left quickly - when a restaurant personnel actually let me do it. They did give a refund for the tikka though. But after that, we see that the paneer fried rice is basically completely burnt! I live so close to this restaurant and n very bought from them for ever since the pandemic due to previous bad experiences. Decided to give a shot today but this burnt trash food has made one thing clear - Nalas you need to go! read more

My wife ordered take out for the first time and says with so many options in the area she won't be going back. Said it seemed over priced for the portion and everything was charged higher than the menu. $20 for what she described as tomato soup with hardly any chicken. Tried to call to explain and the man became argumentative. Weird. read more

0 Stars. They have online order and when I placed order, got a call saying most of the items ordered are not available. Ok - replaced them with other stuff. Went to the restaurant to pickup and lo behold they had sent the order to another customer with doordash delivery..I had only ordered pickup. Waited for about 30 minutes for the doordash delivery man to come back and return the item. Collected and went home to find that one of the items was missing. At this point I just lost it and sweared to myself not to visit this restaurant again anytime ( couple of bad experiences in the past as well but this topped it all ). AND the food was junk !! read more

Came here for dinner on a Friday night at 8:30 pm. There are maybe 3 groups seated. Infinitely more open tables. The person at the front informed me that if we wanted to dine in, it would be minimum 40 minutes, probably more. The entire freaking place is empty! Except for people waiting on grub hub delivery orders! We came here once before and the food was okay, wanted to give it another shot. They are open until 10:30 on Friday evenings! So unprofessional and honestly disappointing. One of the people waiting for a grub hub pickup has been sitting in front for over an hour for their order. If you don't want to actually provide food to your customers, maybe you shouldn't turn you open sign on. read more

I've been very satisfied with all of my meals. I've experienced an abundance of Indian food in my life and this is flavorful and fresh. I really appreciate the organization of the menu too. As a vegan it can be difficult to find out exactly what is in your food when eating out. They clearly list the vegan items and make a note when dairy is used. This is great for anyone with allergies that still want to enjoy Indian food. read more

Have ordered food here many times as this was close to my home but recent 2 orders were disappointing. When i got home the curry container was only 70% full rather than full 16oz (which i have seen in the past many times). When i called back the restaurant management says they only provide 12 oz curry in a 16oz container that costs $11. The reasoning is that it will overflow the container if they fill it to 16oz. It was barely enough to eat for a Naan. Never seen any restaurant give this excuse for a repeat customer. This is how businesses lose customers. read more

This review is actually for South (US 290) location. I had decent experience with north location but south location was not so good! 1) menu price & POS price are different! I was overcharged two times! first time, I didn't notice . second time, I promptly asked for refund. Make sure you check the bill before you let them swipe your card! 2) Food quality is good . But serving size is not good for the price! B&G price is more reasonable for all the items I got here. read more

We ordered this tonight wanting to try something new. It was pretty disappointing in every way. Not the worst food I've ever had but just maybe the worst versions of Indian food we ordered, if that makes sense. I was really unpleasantly surprised to see that we got instant white rice in place of basmati. That feels like the biggest rip off ever. I make better rice at home. I didn't eat any rice but luckily I ordered double naan on accident. Sadly though, the naan was so dry and crunchy and just not a great flavor. My husband got the lamb tikka masala and it was so pungent with curry and he wasn't a big fan. I got the saag paneer and it was ok. The spinach was so puréed it was like baby food and it had a strong parsley flavor. We ate our food but we would not order again. This was just hugely disappointing. I will say for positives that it was a lot if food but it was extremely pricey. We just weren't feeling it. read more

Please avoid ordering food from this place. We ordered food online from their site and paid via CC. When we went to pick up the order they claimed that they hadn't received the order. When we showed them digital proof of the order, they kept arguing that they hadn't received it.. They made no effort to get us our food despite show them digital receipts.. Best avoided... read more

I had the masala dosas and it was absolutely horrid. This is not South Indian food, this is an embarrassment to South Indian food. I have never had worse dose in my entire life. The sambar was bland, very plain and spicy. The potato in the dosa tasted like plain boiled potatoes with salt and turmeric. Me and my entire family bought some to go and we all ended up sick shortly after eating it. Will not be visiting this place ever again. Save your money read more

Uber driver here. There was no acknowledgement whatsoever when I tried to pick up an order. Waited for 5 minutes. Horrible service had to cancel my customer order due to no one assisting me after several times trying to ask about my pick up. Horrible. Don't have time to wait around. read more
