Being an Indian and having eaten in many Indian restaurants across Europe, there are very few which are truly authentic.
Cross Nalas Appakadai off that list. It's one of few Indian restaurants, especially in Paris, that actually makes you think you are eating in India. Of course, for those sensitive to spices, the levels can be toned down. But the taste and flavours are fantastic! This restaurant spécialisés in South Indian food, especially from the states of Kerala and Tamilnadu. Try their speciality crepes, the Appams. Being a vegetarian, I love pairing the Appams with 'Ulli Theyal' or even 'Gobi Manchurian'. Meat eaters have more of a choice, though there are many vegetarian options as well.
