Fantastic dinner. .. Best fried rice side dish ever, and a wonderful jalapeño pork stir fry

Very likable atmosphere with great Asian food and a variety of beers. The staff is excellent and goes all out to provide good service.

Got the Wasabi Pork Shumai and the egg rolls as appetizers, and both were great! The Shumai were insanely spicy though, not a tongue burn heat, but more of a sinus burn. My nose was running and tears were rolling down my face! The egg rolls were fantastic though, served with a sauce that reminds you of General Tso's. I got the Crunch Munch roll and he got the Caterpillar roll, we both like mine more, but his was still very good. Our only comment was that the eel in the Caterpillar was almost nonexistent. Food was fantastic. My girlfriend got sushi, set B I believe which included 6 California rolls and 7...can't remember the name but each one of the 7 was a different meat. I got the general tso chicken, and we ordered Crab Rangoon with our free check in coupon here on Yelp. My girlfriend also ordered the miso soup which she did not like at all, surprisingly as she usually likes miso soup. The martini's were good. Only complaint, service was horrible BUT I will say I noticed the other servers were very attentive to their tables. We just got a bad server. She was very nice but she literally took nearly 10 minutes to come to our table to take our drink orders. Then she didn't bring our appetizer out. I asked her about it when our food came, she didn't apologize, just said she would go get them. They were barely warm so they had obviously been done for a while. All that said, we would definitely return if in the area again, but would request a different server. Five stars on the food alone. read more

update, went there again cuz gf wanted to try. I obliged, once again disappointed. food is over priced and just awful sushi. she got a bento box and the veggies were covered in what could be described as molasses but they might argue is teriyaki sauce with the viscosity of motor oil. the chicken in the box was dry and would probably best be used in a 99 cent taco at taco bell (No offense taco bell..). just avoid at all cost and go to sapporo or asakus read more

Food was great, had two Korean dishes. BUT the waiter was so new he wasn't very good, took out everyone's dish one at a time with 10 people and couldn't say any of the Asian names. Another terrible thing was the drinking water was undrinkable, some weird taste. Please fix these small things and you'll be successful. read more

The Illinois roll was amazing! Kathy was great and she made the best recommendation. The food came fast and it tasted great! They have a coffee and chocolate stout (locally made) that just made the evening a lot tastier! I recommend the IL roll and don't forget to get your free Crab Rangoons when checking in! Great taste too! I'm having a tastebud overload and I'm happy! Oh and Kathy recommended the Mafia roll and it was just an offer I couldn't refuse! Food is a poor representation of Asian food. Would not recommend this restaurant. NEVER buy gift certificates from them. We were unable to use the gift certificate that had been purchased from the restaurant and given to us because we did not have the cash register receipt from the sale. It was strange that they would not accept their own gift certificate unless we had the proof of the sale....it was a gift! We were very disappointed in the food and then we had to leave frustrated because they would not accept the gift certificate. We were told that it was "corporate policy" and there was nothing that the manager could or would do. We had to purchase the meal and basically were told that our gift certificate was worthless. read more

This place was horrible! The food was so gross. It tasted like frozen Chinese food that you buy at Meijer. We actually had to send my daughters meal back because it was dripping with grease. The server was nice but very slow and never refilled my drink and would disappear for long periods of time. I hate even giving it the one star. read more

A new restaurant in Ft. Wayne only open for about 2 months. They're still working on getting it right. Wonderful atmosphere, very upscale but! Staff who waited on me at sushi bar did not know much about Sake and surprisingly the didn't have a Sake menu. The claimed to have a large selection though. The food was not hot and I don't mean spicy. The manager took my bento box off my bill but they need to get it right. A staff member didn't make it in but not a good excuse. Conveniently next to HGI and a new to open Homewood Suites. Hopefuly they'll get their act together by then. read more

Eh, just ok. Get the bento box of teriyaki chicken. It wasn't the worst I've ever had, but could have been better. Came out a little cold and dry. Rice was mushy and overlooked. Place was not busy at all so it may be a good place to go when other places are busy. read more

We had been here a few times a year ago and thought it was pretty good, but either we became Giants or the the sushi was miniaturized since the last visit. Went for a nice dinner with my wife Monday evening. Food wasn't bad, however, someone needs to do some training with the staff in the art of running a credit card. We had a $25 gift certificate which we put toward the meal. It took three attempts to get the bill right and when I checked my balance today I found they charged me THREE times for our meal. I called Mike the manager and was informed that I would have to wait three days to get my $130 back. So they can withdraw $200 instantly from my checking account for a $48 meal but I have to wait three days to get a refund? REALLY? VERY POOR SERVICE! Be very careful using a credit card. read more

First time here, and won't be back. We ordered the fried rice with chicken and shiitake mushrooms. How can a so-called Asian restaurant mess this up? The chicken was dry and flavorless and maybe even old. The vegetables were obviously frozen mixed vegetables out of the bag with absolutely no Asian vegetables, i.e., bamboo shoots, mini corn, etc. Yuck. We also tried the bento box with General Tso's chicken. Again, how can they mess this up? They obviously used the same old, dry chicken to fry up for this dish. The only thing worth eating in the box was the rice, the one crab Rangoon, and the iceberg lettuce. I was very disappointed to spend my money at this place and will never return. read more

I went here over a year ago with my husband. Food was amazing, but the service was ok. We spent about $43 dollars on our card, and left a 20% tip in cash. I will never return to this restaurant because the waiter or whoever charged my card an additional 6 dollars making it a $16 dollar tip for whomever. Not very happy at all, if you go pay cash so you don't get charged extra on your card. read more

Interesting place. The food was quite passable. It was good, but not spectacular in any way. It is a very loud and crowded place. My biggest complaint is that there really isn't a very good selection for kids. My three year old did enjoy the tempura chicken. My wife and I had the sushi, it was good; again not spectaular. The wait staff was quite friendly and attentive. This is a chain restaurant (out of Indy) and has a chain restaurant feel. There are a couple of places close by that have better sushi at a similar price (Tokyo Seoul and Sakura). It isn't a bad place to eat, but unless someone just absolutely wants to there, I will probably pass. read more

In town on business and staying across the parking lot at the Hilton, I decided to give Naked Tchopstix a shot. It did not disappoint! I had the dolsot bibimbap with fried tofu which was recommended to me by my very patient but attentive waitress Angela. I also had the crab rangoon. Both were delicious. I recommend this place and like it better than many of the Pan Asian restaurants I've tried back home in Los Angeles. I only wish I could have tried more of their menu! Enjoyed it! Sushi was good, I ordered a couple sushi rolls and fried rice but my favorite by far was the chocolate sushi dessert. They somehow lightly coat little choc icecream balls and cover with powder sugar and choc syrup. It was different and good, beautiful presentation. read more
