Many places don't do that anymore. The location was easy to find in the Clear Acre's strip mall. I was welcomed by the Owner Jenny and she passed me off to Isela, she started a couple weeks ago. It's a Latino driven shop. They have pedicures, deluxe and VIP. I got the deluxe I wish now I got the VIP for $5 more to receive the paraffin wax . The range is $60-75 for gel and $5.00 for decoration. I was there for a hour and half, Isela took her time. She can do free style art work or stickers. I chose the stickers. The place was spotless and they asked if I like a small bottle of water which is always a nice touch. I paid with cash not sure if there was a credit card fee or not. No discount for cash. The Technician was very gentle sometimes I do prefer the cheese grater for my winter callous, but otherwise, I'd go back, but I'm always on a mission to try different nail salons in the area.

It's been 1 week today and I already have lifting on both of my big toes. Very annoying but this is the exact reason why I normally do my own at home for free. Also, I got a French pedi and the white is REALLY thick but I'd already asked them to thin it twice and I didn't know how to speak up without sounding rude (thanks autism), so I already knew it wasn't a design I loved but I could live with it in the winter when nobody's really going to see it anyway. The lifting gives an opportunity for nail health disasters so I'm taking them off soon bc that's the real issue. If I didn't know (and do) good nails, I would've been happy with what I got which is why I'm giving 3 stars. If you're looking for a long-lasting pedi, this is probably not be the place your search leads you to. Also, my friend made an appointment for 12:30 and we were still waiting at 12:50 so we had to reschedule so grab a fun snack and drink before coming if you do schedule an appointment! Because of that experience, I was excited to return. Unfortunately, my second visit was very disappointing. I was paired with a different nail technician, and the quality of service was noticeably different. She asked if I wanted my toenails trimmed, and I said yes, but she only trimmed my big toenails and left the rest untouched. The polish application was also very poorly done. It was uneven and looked rushed--the worst polish job I've ever received during a pedicure. I considered mentioning it, but her two children arrived during my appointment, and I got the impression she may have been distracted or trying to finish quickly. Based on my second experience, I don't plan to return. It's unfortunate because my first visit set such high expectations. I hope the salon can provide more consistent service in the future.

The full set was a 45 minute appointment that included a great vibe and awesome conversation. She explained her process very well and was gentle. I used special polish that was supposed to strengthen my nails, even that did not help me. So, Falicia who owns Buckin Nails of a Time in Sola Salon in Sparks advertised on the Nextdoor app. So I messaged her about my nails, and I liked her, so I am giving her a try. Very professional, and I like her setup. I had my 7 year old gdaughter with me, as she wanted her nails polished too. Falicia was so nice and said yes she would love to polish her nails too. Falicia has a cool way she does gels, it was interesting and very different from what I am used to, cool !! It took awhile to build up my nails with gel. Great conversation going on the whole time.. my Gkiddo was hungry and Falicia has a snack drawer, Hadlee helped herself to some cookies and goldfish, that was a really nice touch! I am so happy to have my nails back on now. Hoping my spa keeps them on too, lol. Then it was Hailee's turn. I just figured she would just polish them. Nope!! She pushed back her cuticles and then filed them, and used gel polish, she says she does never uses any other polish except gel polish, wow, that's even better as it stays on longer, and I figured Hadlee would ruin the polish, nope, when she was done , we paid and left and her nails were dried..
