I gave her 4.5 stars because I made an appointment for manicure with groupon and pedicure but she only did my manicure with nail art from groupon. I understand because it took her 1.5 hours to do my nails. All in all I am very satisfied with her work. Also, downside to her place is no parking. Please come early for street parking at Powder Room. I will definitely send her recommendations/referrals. read more

Currently she is at the Powder Room, which I found to be classy and understated, and most importantly, quiet. Some nail salons are like industrial warehouses I swear! Jenes got to me within about 10 minutes of my appointment time, which I am totally fine with. I came to her requesting a squared- off french tip. I am super picky about the curvature of my smile lines, the tone of pink used, the thickness of the white, all of it. She took my corrections in stride and worked to do things exactly as I asked- which I really appreciate! Jenes fit me in last minute for a manicure on Monday before I started my new job Tuesday. I brought a photo of what I wanted and we improvised to make it custom. She displayed her creative skills, professional demeanor and was very quick. My nails came out fresh, vibrant and ready for summer- which was a feat considering I went in with broken, splintered nails and 3 layers of old nail polish, the bottom being gel. I had one nail that had broken off super low and it hurt just to pick things up with the finger. Jenes was gentle and very thoughtful of my sensitivity the whole time! She free styl drew a design with a skinny brush that looks like a stamp it's so nice! When we were finishing she suggested fairy dusty- a light glitter that makes your nails sparkle like pretty cupcakes. I got an hombre glitter and when I have done them in the past from other techs, they look terrible (clumpy or like I did it myself lol).
