The salon had a room with a pillow, that was dimly lit and music was playing. I ended up falling asleep during my first eye lash extensions experience it was so peaceful. At Mai's: I was uncomfortable, I don't remember if they have music playing or not but the fluorescent lighting and hospital feel made me SO uncomfortable. I was lying there, trying to get comfortable when I felt like I was going to pass out (I think I was clenching my body because I was trying to be still but also get comfortable) Well, I asked if I could get up and stupid me didn't realize I couldn't open my eyes (because they are like taped down or something) and I ended up freaking out. I don't think it was the girls fault that was doing them but it's not the most comfortable procedure, and not being able to open your eyes/having someone right in your face is claustrophobic.
