I was thinking about waking out but I figured I let her practice on my head to gain experience. Know my top is long, sides and back been growing wild since covid started. I wanted to give her a chance as I could have messed it up just as bad lol (but not $50 bad) I told her I wanted to keep the top long, sides shaved but work on the back growing to a point. I was expecting a semi fade from short (back) to long (front). I even told Jamie I'm letting her as a styltest to undo my rat nest of hair. Even the sides being shaved we talked about doing a 1 to a fade to a 2 but she obv didn't feel comfortable doing that....a basic fade so we went with an over all 1 I ended up with a legit reverse mullet (picture shown). I showed my coworkers and even tho I laughed it off they even were mad for me. As a stylist you thought a reverse nullet was ok?!? Idk if it was bad communication or she was scared to work on my hair or what.... $52 (with a tip) for shaved sides and a trim....a basic men's hair cut..... I knew I should have gone to a barber who could have done the SAME JOB but better as well for cheaper. I don't understand why women are changed almost triple for the same hair cut that men pay more than half the price. 3rd picture. The top in my hand is what was long and was trimmed. The back was the length of the overall lower half of my hair. As you see she just shaved the sides, trimmed the top and decided to call it good. I didn't realize this till i was showing it off and people pointed it out that there was no blending/fade from top to back

She gave me a tour around the salon and I was shocked to see how nice the back rooms were. There is an entire room towards the back of the salon with really nice pedicure chairs and what you would expect when going to a nail salon, chandeliers, fancy lighting, people getting pedicures. Normally I go to the nail salon by the Publix in Enterprise but this salon has a much nicer setup! Don't let the drab looks of the lobby deter you. I had gotten 3 treatments of laser hair removal at another spa years ago, which yielded no results, so when I decided to try laser again I wasn't very hopeful. Boy was I wrong-my only regret is not doing it sooner!! The laser technician and owner, Amber, is super nice, very meticulous and thorough. She got REAL RESULTS that actually changed my life. Well worth the time and money! I got 3 treatments with her that reduced my hair growth by half and the hair that grows back is thin and manageable. I should only need about 3 more treatments to be completely hair free. I was unfortunately relocated before I could get more treatments done with Amber. I plan to return to Bella Vita when I'm stationed at Fort Rucker again!

I currently had acrylic on my toes and I wanted them removed and I wanted a fresh set. Somewhere along the way it was misinterpreted that I just wanted the acrylic removed and they were very rude about it and then charged me an extra $20 because they had already put gel on one of my feet. I totally understand the lost product and that is fine because I should've said something sooner, but $20 is insane. The guy that was drilling the acrylic off was very heavy-handed and rough. I left with scraped cuticles. I also told him that my toenails were very sensitive and it just seemed like he did not listen to me at all. So $60 later I left with a pedicure and destroyed nailbeds.

The salon had a room with a pillow, that was dimly lit and music was playing. I ended up falling asleep during my first eye lash extensions experience it was so peaceful. At Mai's: I was uncomfortable, I don't remember if they have music playing or not but the fluorescent lighting and hospital feel made me SO uncomfortable. I was lying there, trying to get comfortable when I felt like I was going to pass out (I think I was clenching my body because I was trying to be still but also get comfortable) Well, I asked if I could get up and stupid me didn't realize I couldn't open my eyes (because they are like taped down or something) and I ended up freaking out. I don't think it was the girls fault that was doing them but it's not the most comfortable procedure, and not being able to open your eyes/having someone right in your face is claustrophobic.
