There aren't very many options for nail salons in Winchester. This one, that's located in the same strip mall as Kroger, and Winchester Nails, and that's it. I think they're affiliated, the two nail salons. I say that, because I noticed the business cards indicated both salon names on the same cards. Now onto the important stuff. Dad loves pedicures. He swears that they are better therapy for his back than physical therapy. I was in Winchester for the weekend and decided to treat him to a pedi. We walked in and were told it was a 45 minute wait. Ok. No worries. We left and came back 45 minutes later. It was about 15 minutes after that before they started on us. No pedi for me, just gel French polish on my toes and French SNS on my fingernails. The verdict was, Dad wasn't fond of his pedi. He had a bunch of complaints about the man that did it. Amy did my SNS nails and she was phenomenal. Not a lot of people can do SNS French tip with such perfection, but she aced it. I literally might drive to Winchester to have her to do my nails from now on. I was told that they're always busy, so come expecting to wait, even if you have an appointment. read more

Nails Pro 5 Winchester KY, Kroger Plaza. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star! Went in for a fill in & the old woman literally ripped my nails off! My left thumb nail, she ripped it off to the quick all the way down the side. My forefinger on right hand she cut. I was literally bleeding it was so bad. She had to hold pressure on my thumb nail to stop the bleeding. I told her just do a manicure & leave my nails off so my thumb nail doesn't get infected. There's no way acrylic would've been okay over that thumb nail. She said, yes it'll be fine.. lol. I told her just to leave my thumb alone it hurt so bad & just do the manicure. While taking my nail off, I told her the glue was ripping my nail. She didn't care.. Well I didn't even get a manicure! She apologized but then turned around & had the nerve to charge me $20! Sorry, I don't think so. Now my nails look like crap. Never ever again in life will I ever step foot back in this place. The customers on both sides of me were like omg! Had one of the greatest pedicure experiences of my life. Who would have thought it would be in Winchester ky. Wow. The new location, opened July 2019, is great. My service was significantly better than my lovers but she can leave her own review if she feels strongly enough. I'd go back in a heartbeat. read more

I usually have decent experiences at Nail Pro but the last couple of times have been very disappointing. Some of the employees are very rude and aggressive. For example, last time I went to this nail salon the lady painting my nails was very judgemental of the color and shape I was asking for. While she was buffing my nails, she did it so extreme and she could clearly tell I was in pain. She also got mad at me for having shaky hands, which I can't really help because I'm an anxious person. At one point, she even stopped doing my nails all together and gave me a dirty look because my hands were shaking a little. The job she did on my nails was also very messy and there was glue stuck to my skin. I would recommend trying to go somewhere else before going to Nail Pro. read more

I've seriously never been that person to complain about customer service, & in a nail salon if it isn't exactly like the picture its fine as long as they still look good. But this is coming from the Owner of Nail Pro in the Kroger Plaza in Winchester. The whole time he was doing my nails he kept filing shorter & shorter & the only thing he would talk to me about was my form of payment. At the end when my nails were still drying he told me to take my hand out of the dryer & get my card out, my friend said it was probably so I would pay before I saw them. He ended up over charging me $10, & gave it back in cash when I drove back. This was an awful experience, ill let the pics speak for theirself. read more

So I am a guy. I know nothing about nails. I know when they look good and that is about it. I know when something is too expensive and I know when people are kind of hateful. Each year I take my girls team to get their nails done before the State Cross Country Meet. The owner Jack keeps the place open late so the entire team can get their nails done after practice. The cost is reasonable and they always make my girls feel special. The girls smiles are worth a million but thankfully the cost is not. I highly recommend this for anyone that needs their nails done. read more

I received a gift certificate for $100 dollars from my brother for Christmas on 12/30/19 and haven't had my nails done anywhere at all since the pandemic started. The certificate expires one year from the date of purchase and they would not honor it, even though many places do not have expiration dates or extended them indefinitely due to extenuating circumstances. I will never be back and would not recommend this company due to their business practices. I spoke with the manager and was told they "cannot do anything about it." read more

Went in today for a fill in, I had got my nails done at a different salon but they were closed today so I went to nail pro. When I asked for a fill in, I was told that I could not be helped because the previous salon had done so poorly, which I understand and was glad to be informed. So I went there one time. They were super friendly. They only bad thing I have to say is I wanted them shorter. At the end they massaged my hands. The guy wasn't to rough with my hands. By far the best place to get nails done they are nice and do a a great job. Also they take you in pretty quickly if your a walk in. For a full set took about 30 minutes or so to get done. read more

I use to go to this salon pretty often and it was always just okay. Decent prices, but an unfriendly staff and cluttered environment. Yesterday was definitely my last time giving them a try. The older lady that works there is consistently rude, but she topped herself on this visit. She barely spoke, jerked my arm the entire time, spoke about me in another language to other employees, didn't use a towel the entire time and barely let my nails soak. She then told me she couldn't do the manicure I wanted because she didn't have the exact color I showed her in a photo, I said that was fine I just wanted that style. She of course behaved like it was impossible, so I ended up getting just a basic color. Then when I paid and she saw she wasn't getting a tip she literally threw my credit card across the counter. For a business that doesn't look the tidiest you would think they would try to make it up for it in professionalism.The rudeness was mid-blowing. Beware if you think about going here. read more
