I honestly cannot say enough good things about this salon. I've been coming here for a while now…read moreand every single visit has been amazing. Aylin does my gel manicures and she is beyond talented. Her designs are always immaculate, and she somehow manages to push me out of my comfort zone in the best way. Anytime I think I can't pull something off, she proves me wrong--and I always end up obsessed with my nails. I get stopped all the time with people asking where I get them done, which says everything. As for pedicures, I've gone to almost every single girl there and I have NEVER been disappointed. I usually get a regular pedicure and it literally lasts me at least two months while still looking fresh, like I just got them done. The whole team is so welcoming, professional, and clearly takes pride in their work. It's a clean, positive environment and you can tell they truly care about their clients. It's honestly frustrating to see negative reviews that don't reflect the reality of this place at all. My experiences have been consistently incredible. If you're looking for a nail salon that delivers beautiful, long-lasting results and amazing service, this is the place. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my nails.

INFECTION!!!! BEWARE!!!!…read more (Pictures included, it gets worse & worse) We went in on April 16 for both my partner and I to get pedicures the day before our vacation on April 17. While I did notice dirty looks coming from both of the ladies performing the pedicures, I chose to focus on the quality of work rather than how uncomfortable both of these women (Irene and Diana) made us feel. Diana did a great job on my pedicure, so I will not criticize her work apart from the fact that she should keep her personal beliefs outside of her job. Irene, on the other hand, was completely dreadful. On top of making us feel incredibly uncomfortable, my partner left with both big toes infected. I've attached photos of the toes after the pedicure. We left for vacation on April 17, so I called the salon immediately. The daughter of the owner (I was never given her name) was very apologetic and gave me her personal phone number to review the photos of the poorly done pedicure. She gave me advice from her mother and told me to update her. I then texted her again on April 18 with updated photos showing that the infection had actually WORSENED after following what we were instructed to do. To this I never received a response... As a result, my partner was miserable throughout our entire vacation and was limping the whole time. I wasted $70, I didn't even ask for a refund, I just wanted some help to fix the horrible work that this woman did and was ignored. At this point, I hope the NJ State Board of Cosmetology will be better help. Even after dealing with this unprofessional behavior, I still paid & tipped without requesting any sort of refund (which, at this point, I am owed so it can atleast go toward any medical bill that the incompetence of your employee has caused). As I am writing this review on 04/27/26, the infection is still getting worse. Such a shame, I love supporting fellow Latina owned brands. Just shameful. BEWARE!!!

I'm torn on how many stars to give…read more.. It's been about 10 years since I've gone into this salon, so I was surprised to see it didn't change much. Layout, design, dryers; all the same as I remember. I went after lunch so was able to be seated quickly for my pedicure [ that's a plus ]. The chair I was in, as the others around me, definitely showed signs of major wear. The buttons for the massage remote were worn down. It worked though so that's easily overlooked. The lady who took care of me did a beautiful job. She took her time, never hurt me, gave a decent massage and painted my nails near perfectly. I would give her 4 stars, taking one off for there being paint on my skin. Overall, if she was working at another salon, I would definitely go back to her. My issue came with the price and fee. I was shocked to see that a regular pedicure was $31. I pay $43 at my usual place and with that, I get a sugar scrub, moisture mask, paraffin, and 15-minute foot massage with hot stones. The pedicure at Turning Point was your standard pedicure - no perks - with exception to the stones. I gave my debit card to the woman, and she told me it was $31. I asked if she could add a tip and she told me it would be $2 for taxes. There is a sign on the wall that says if you charge a tip, there is a $2 fee. I told her to add $8 which then would bring my total to $41. Not sure where those taxes are included in that total, but the math isn't mathing. I'm all for paying an extra fee with a credit card but most places don't charge for a debit. I don't see myself going back. It wasn't worth the cost.
