My daughter has been going to Tai at Nails Please in Fremont, and today I finally decided to try her nail tech. I'm so glad I did! Tai did exactly what I asked for and paid close attention to every detail. The shape and French tips came out perfect, and I absolutely love my nails. I'll definitely be returning to him! My only disappointment was being charged an additional $10 for callus removal during my pedicure, someone else performed that part of the service. I feel basic callus removal should be included with a pedicure rather than charged separately. Other than that, I had a great experience and highly recommend Tai!

My long time nail tech moved so I was in search for a new nail tech. I also wanted to take this opportunity to find a place closer to home. I searched on yelp and found Nails Please. They have new pedicure chairs, workstations, and chairs. It's clean, bright, and pretty. Everyone is welcoming and kind. It's easy up book an appt online and see all the techs plus their availability. After reading the reviews I decided to try Tai and have no regrets. He is thorough, gentle, and a talented nail tech. I am super picky and look for someone who doesn't fill my nails too thick so it gives more of a natural look. He listens to exactly what I want and checks in to make sure I'm pleased with the shape and length. The true telling are all the compliments I get from strangers and friends since I've been coming to Nails Please. I highly recommend Tai! I'm sure all the others are great too. They seem to have a regular customer base.

Nikki left yall. She's no longer there so i would not recommend going here. The way they treated me cause THEY didn't let their clients know she was gone, is crazy. I was told that I should have checked their site to see that Nikki was removed from their site AFTER my appt was already made and confirmed. I also received a confirmation text from their site the night before confirming my appt so how is this my fault?! That is poor customer service.

Nude base + olive-green French tips with a thin gold line

Absolutely beautiful work! I had the best experience at Nails Please! Helen did an amazing job on my nails--her attention to detail and talent are truly incredible. I showed her a photo for inspiration, and somehow, her work turned out even more beautiful than the inspiration picture! She was so precise, thoughtful, and made sure everything was perfect. I'm absolutely in love with my nails and couldn't be happier with how they turned out. If you're looking for someone who can truly bring your nail vision to life (and make it even better!), I highly recommend Helen at Nails Please! I'll definitely be coming back!

I had a great experience! I usually come here for pedicures, and every time I visit, I always walk out happy with the service. Today, I decided to get my nails done and try Gel-X for the first time, and Kathy did an amazing job! She made me feel comfortable, was so easy to talk to, and really took her time to make sure my nails came out beautiful. I absolutely love how they turned out. I would definitely come back here again any day and highly recommend Kathy!

I always come here to get my nails done specifically with Nikki or Helen and they always do an amazing job. They also always offer water and even mimosas. Very nice and clean salon

Got my nails Done my Nancy. I was hesitant at first to try a new place but I took the risk and it was great. Nancy KNOWS what she is doing. Vibe: 10/10 It's a nail salon... not much to say about vibes. All the workers are friendly and welcoming to both customers and each other. Service 10/10: This is def one of my favorite place right now. You come in with a vision/ picture and leave knowing that you got your money's worth

i asked for zebra nails and got exactly that. I love them. Nails by tim! highly recommend

I haven't had my nails done in quite some time as I was looking for a new nail shop. I found Nails Please and noticed the great reviews they had and one of the nail technicians Helen I was already following on social media so I decided to book my appointment with her and try them out. I came on a weeknight before Thanksgiving and they were fairly busy, the wait was a little long but in the end was worth it. The interior is cute and clean, I love the few photo ops they have on the walls. What I really like is that they have a table with small bottled waters and light snacks for the customers, this is a very nice touch. Helen was my nail technician, she's very nice and professional. I was getting a brand new acrylic full set. I showed her a design that I saw posted, she took one look and went straight to work. My nails came out amazing, better and more detailed than I'd expected. The length is perfect, the attention to detail, the design. I couldn't have asked for anything better. This just might be my new nail salon and I will keep going back to Helen.

Kathy was amazing!! She gave me the perfect design and was super careful and took her time and it came out beautiful and exactly what I wanted! I would highly recommend her! However, while I was waiting for Kathy, the other nail tech who helped take my nails off while I was waiting seemed to be new, and she didn't seem to know how to take gel x nails off because she filed my old set down to my nail itself and it hurt so bad I had to yank my hand away and then she didn't soak my nails in acetone but instead applied some sort of "magic" gel and then tried to peel/pull my old nails off and that hurt too. I've been getting my nails done for years now and have never had it hurt this bad but I'm sure it's probably because she was new and not experienced, but everyone was still super nice! I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want her to feel bad but I do think some of the nail techs probably need a bit more training! I would recommend Kathy since she was amazing, but would recommend being careful if any of the other nail techs try to take your old set off!

Got these set almost 2 months ago now, just look at the retention!

Jaspreet K.

Got these sets 2 months ago, look at the retention! This place has been my go to for almost a year now. And, I like my experience so far.

Shari R.

I see Tai for nails and Kelly for pedivure. It's difficult to find a place where you can go and get both done with excellence. This is my new go to.

Ashley M.

I've been coming to Nails Please for years, and Michelle has done my nails multiple times over that time. She is truly the best! Not only does she always remember me, but she remembers details about my life and genuinely asks how I'm doing every time I come in. She's so sweet, warm, and caring -- you can tell she really values her clients. And on top of being such a kind person, she does AMAZING nails. She pays attention to every little detail and makes sure you're completely happy before you leave. She's gentle, skilled, and really knows what she's doing. If you book with Michelle, you will leave happy every single time. Highly recommend her!

I actually had to get nails done for a friends wedding and had inspiration for the design via Pinterest. Michelle did a GREAT job with my nails. I was impressed with how comfortable she wanted to make me during the process. Double checking each step with me to make sure it looked the way I wanted it too and checking to make sure she wasn't hurting me. I am making this my new nail place. Incredibly happy with my service here. Absolutely loved it here read more

Stumbled upon this place as I needed a pedicure and they were able to accommodate me on a Sunday. I really wanted to try another nail salon but they were fully booked today so I tried this one based on yelp reviews. I called ahead and made an appointment and asked for a specific person based on reviews I asked for Helen. I was told ok and arrived 10 mins to my scheduled appointment. When I arrived they were about 5 others people getting pedicures. I let them know I had asked for Helen but when I arrived they gave me Tina as my nail tech. This was my first time here so I do not know if Helen was working and why I was not given the the person I asked for when the appointment was made. I did mention that I had ingrown nails and wanted to make sure that they were familiar with this issue as I was previously cut by an nail tech at another place. Tina did a good job, but the basic pedicure is very basic. Your feet soak in warm water, then they cut nails, cuticles and then scrub, light massage and polish. The massage was timed with a timer for 5 mins but after starting about 90 secs in Tina stood up and walked away. She did not say anything she just arrived with stones and started using them for the massage however it lessened actual time that she massaged you. The massage itself was ok but I've had better without hot stones at other places . The polish was applied well, she then handed me a slip with her name and $35 . I guess that was all, I just sat there waiting for polish to dry. It was at the end that someone asked how the service was and took payment from me. I saw other people that were checked out and paid at the front. There was a sign that said soft opening so maybe they are working all of the kinks out. But I have to say I was as not impressed enough to upgrade as as it seemed like the attention for clients was just ok. Also wanted to point out the place looked reasonably clean however, small things caught my attention. The towels used already look a bit old for a newer place. It seems like each tech had a cart with their name , but tools were loosely on trays. I hope and assume all of the tools were sanitized but they were not unwrapped in front of you before they start to use anything. This is something that I have had at a few other salons that really make things feel like they have sanitized everything between clients. Overall one of the better salons in Fremont. But they seem to still have some issues to work out with appointments and staff. If you're willing to try anyone and not a spec of nail tech then you should be ok. read more

Had appointment on 12:30 Saturday but we were told to come back after 30min. The store looks very busy and full. We came back after 30 min but still waited for another like 10 min before we had pedicure. The lady I had did my pedi and manicure. She doesn't speak English so there's difficulty on the communication. Pedicure was probably the best part of the whole experience because foot massage but when I had my feet in the soaker, it wasn't comfortable because my toes were all pushed against the side of soaker. The lady didn't asked me or adjust the chair. Manicure was done mediocre, one nail shows bubble or something under the sticker. I don't usually get pedi and mani done often. This was considered early Mother's Day treat for myself and I decided to spend fun time with my daughters because I have to work on Mother's Day. The overall experience was disappointing and I don't think the services, price are worth one hour drive. read more

I just wanted to say. I TRULY hated my pedicure. The nail tech asked if I want them cut down I said yes a little. Little do I know I look away going on my phone and look down my nails are NOT squared as they were prior to going to my appointment. She's unshaped my big toe and all my other nails. They're crooked. I don't recommend. I've given this place many chances and I was totally over it today. When I asked her to fix the shaping she said it looked fine. When I asked why did she slant my big toe nail and cut it she denied she even touched it. My nails were all squared and perfect. I'm not coming here anymore. They've even messed up on my finger nails and I've given them multiple chances but this was the last straw. They're great with designs but shaping , not at all. read more

I swear the pictures don't do my nails justice. Nails Please is a nice and clean nail salon. I saw all the good reviews and scheduled an appointment with Michelle. She was very nice and SO PATIENT. I am so indecisive and it didn't bother her at all that it took me forever to choose a color and design. She even helped me decide. She really took pride in her work as well. Constantly checking to make sure my shape was right. She even welcomed me to let her know if it was something I didn't like so she could fix it. I will definitely be back. read more

they took both me and my friend exactly at our appointment time. I suggest booking online rather than calling since they are a busy salon, plus they text you a confirmation. We both got pedicures, and someone was able to start taking off my old set and do my dipping powder. (I took off one star because I got burned with the drill 3 times during the take off) it's a plus to me when someone can start on my new set while i'm getting a pedicure, but not necessary. After my dip was done, I was passed off to Nikki for my design. Nikki is a pro and was so fast, considering the design I asked for. I kept smiling and complimenting the design during the process! Everyone did a fast and great job. I got this design idea on pinterest, but Nikki's take was better and perfect. Thank you Nails Please :) read more

I got my nails done by Michelle and about three days later I had to go back and get three nails fixed. She ended up fixing three nails but they did not have the same amount of chrome on top as the other ones which I did not notice until later. After 5 days four more nails started peeling off. I got powder dip on my own nails which were so beautiful, strong and long. After I went to Nails please my own nails started breaking one by one. I requested for a refund which is against their policy even if the nails start peeling off in less than a week. This place expects me to keep coming back every time a nail breaks off which is super inconvenient. I've never experienced this with powder dip nails before. read more

I decided to try out a new nail salon recently and it's safe to say I won't be returning. My manicurist was in a rush, resulting in excessive cuticle cutting that led to bleeding. When I pointed it out, she decided to paint over and around the blood without bothering to clean it. It was not only surprising, but also seemed highly unsanitary. She persistently urged to apply a random ointment directly on the blood, resulting in stinging and pain. Despite expressing the pain I felt and the desire to wash it off, she insisted on leaving it. What shocked me even more was that she wanted to take a picture of my nails, blood and all, for her Instagram! Overall, a truly unpleasant and unprofessional experience. I won't be coming back and I hope for improved sanitary practices in the future. read more

I was able to call in and set an appointment day of. She even took her time for her lunch break :( (She ate before though, thank god.) Time to find a new nail salon!! Don't bother making an appointment as they will make you wait regardless if you have an appointment or not! Today I waited one hour for a book appointment! This business needs to not book appointments if they are not available!!! I had to wait because I needed to have the awful gel taken off that they put on and chipped immediately! I know they are popular but I'm going to have to find a new nail salon! It's to bad that the owner only cares about over booking appointments and not customer service! I feel bad for the employees as they are over worked and get the brunt of the customer's frustration. read more

I have been seeing Nikki since 2018. She is so kind, quick but thorough and very good at what she does. The ladies there are all super nice and very attentive. They always offer refreshments too. I have never not felt safe here and I cannot expect to hold them responsible for bad customers that come into the nail shop to get a service. Japanese gel is supposed to last much longer and doesn't lift. I immediately requested an appt. (it was my first time using this yelp option!). I answered some automated questions about the service I was interested in (nail art), dates I was available for an appt., who I'd like to make an appt. with (I chose Janice bc she had more reviews), and uploaded photos of inspo nails. I was messaged back in a timely matter to confirm the appt. I also inquired about the price (included a photo of the nails i wanted) to know what to expect with nail art. I was quoted $70-$75 (without extensions). Fast forward to my 11am appt. a few days after our interaction.. I arrive 10 min early, but the shop is completely closed. The sign says they are open at 10am, so I'm confused, like maybe I'm at the wrong place or?? I call, a girl apologizes saying someone should be there shortly. Ok, not a huge deal. I thought I would be getting my nails done by Janice, since that's who I chose in my appt. request, but Yumi was the one who opened up the shop and ended up doing my nails. She was really sweet and easy to talk to. For my nails, I wanted the design from the photo, but without the accent nail. I wasn't completely satisfied with my nails bc I feel like it wasn't as precise as in my inspo photo, but it was decent enough. When I went to pay she told me my total was $89, which caught me off guard bc according to our messages, I was quoted $70-$75, which when I told her, she said "I said it would be AROUND $70-$75." Why give a price range and not honor it? $14 is a big difference. Anyway, I'm not one to cause a scene so I paid, tipped, and left feeling like I was taken advantage of. 5 days after getting my nails done, the gel has already started lifting/ peeling. I'm even more disappointed and probably would not come back.
