Cute salon, nice employees and decent prices. I'm currently visiting from Southern California and came in for a fill after finding them on instagram. I was a walk in and was seated right away. I waited and a nice gentleman did my fill. I liked his speed and fill technique but using the drill he cut all of my cuticles and they're quite painful. Additionally, I understand that acrylic colors vary but he didn't try to match or even pick a darker color to hide that it's a fill. You can very clearly see the growth from my previous set. Then another tech had to do my design which isn't a big deal. I appreciate that she was quick, concise and probably noticed the acrylic color issue. I don't hate my nails but wish they were so obviously a fill. I paid $65 but left with painful cuticles and not the best results. read more

I went to get my nails done for my wedding here at my brother's insistence that I get my nails done. I made an appointment and still had to wait about 15 minutes. I would recommend bringing a friend or some form of entertainment. I originally was going to write a 4 star review because my nails barely looked like the reference photo (they still looked good), but I also got a brow and lip wax that turned out great. It's been 2 weeks and my nails haven't chipped. I've even cleaned my apartment from top to bottom and cooked without gloves. I will definitely come back here for a simple design, but not a complex design. Also highly recommend the facial waxing because damn it was fast and my brows look so good. I'll be returning to this place for future waxes. read more

My first time here and I got a mani and pedi done. I felt extremely pampered, also love the clean, zen, cute environment and the piano music was extremely calming and relaxing. Tina did my nails and I absolutely love them, I left extremely happy and content and will come back. I had a very stressful week and Nikki took the time to make me feel better, and offered me a mimosa meanwhile I got my pedi done. Thank you for making me feel better and I will definitely tell my friends about this new nail place. read more

I looked this place up because I was in the area. I got my nails done by Vivian. I am very pleased with her work. She was also very quick, but she did not rush. My only complaint was her attitude. From the time she sat me down she seamed agitated. I am a black woman so I am not sure if she was stereotyping me or if she just has an attitude all of the time. I had to ask her to please have grace with me as I am not sure why she seemed so upset. That is my only complaint. Other than that I truly love my nails read more

Booked manicure and pedicure appointments for my daughter and me yesterday. The online system was seamless. When we got there, we were cordially greeted by one of the staff members. The place is big, clean, and has nice air conditioning. Ann worked on my daughter while Phuong and Amy did my deluxe pedicure and manicure. It was nice to be pampered by these ladies. I got my nails done, foot, hands, and legs massage as well a chair massage for my back. Will come back again. read more

OH MY GURD! I'm very loyal to a lady from another salon but I figured I would give them a try for a pedicure. I booked it online for whomever! I didn't choose but I Phoung, went HAM on my pedicure! OH MY GOODNESS! I did not feel like going back to work afterwards! I got the "Nail Please" pedicure and it was worth every penny or Phoung was worth every penny! This is my go to nail salon and the employees here are very friendly unlike other nail salons. I always get a pedicure and they make sure you feel comfortable. One time, their white nail polish dried lumpy on my pedicure and I asked the lady to fix it and she didn't get upset or start speaking in her language unlike other nail salons. Sometimes they have snacks and beverages for their customers. This salon is also clean. read more

One of my worst experiences here. This salon was recommended to me. I walked in and they were able to take me in asap. The lady who did my pedicure was just awful. The pedicure took over an hour because she was too busy talking to the person doing my manicure. I asked for the callus remover gel and she used a cheese grater after she let it soak a bit (I've seen this before so totally fine). What wasn't fine is that she would use the tool for 5 seconds, stop, then talk for about 30+ seconds, and repeat for over 5 minutes. And when she wasn't talking she was using the tool everywhere but the callus area because she wasn't paying attention! After my right foot was done, she went on and did my left foot and spent two minutes with the weakest amount of power. Paid $10 for nothing. I've had this service done elsewhere and was always happy with it. Going into my massage, it was like a kid was rubbing my legs and feet. Below minimum effort. I even asked to put a bit more pressure and she would for two seconds and stop and start looking everywhere. While rubbing my leg, I felt her nails scratching/rubbing against my skin. The door was open and there was a breeze and my legs were stinging when the breeze would hit. I looked at my legs while she got the hot towel and stones and I could see red marks from her nails. Hot towel and stones were so pointless because he application was horrible and the stone massage was just VERY LIGHTLY moving the stone over my legs and feet. My manicurist was fine, while the lady was talking to him, he stayed focus on my nails. I really did appreciate it. The only down fall is that later that day, my nails started chipping (I went July 5th) and it's already Sunday night and the gel manicure already lifted. The place itself looks cute and it's big. Just do your research. I wish I did because I was extremely disappointed. read more

I had an appointment with Helen today and all the techs kept looking down as I waited 20+ minutes. No one greeted me or gave me an update as to when I could be seated. It took me walking out for someone to chase me down. I then got a call 20 minutes later being asked to come back and that they would give me a discount, but I was already seated at Yvonne's and it took them 5 minutes to seat me with no appointment. They're always attentive at Yvonne's even when all techs are occupied. Yvonne's is where I usually go but I was looking forward to trying Nails Please because my friend recommended it. First impression has been made. Nails Please? No thank you. Yvonne's Please. read more

I have tried a few Gel X salons in the area and I was dissatisfied. I used to drive all the way to San Jose to get Gel X but I finally stopped because it was just a hassle even though I loved them. I was going on a trip and decided to give Nails Please a try. Come to find out, Michelle who used to do my nails in San Jose is now at Nails Please and I had no idea. Shes awesome and I love my nails. I get compliments on my nails all the time and not too many people know about Gel X in the area. I highly recommend giving them a try and booking with Michelle. I also got a pedicure in which I was pleased with. I would recommend booking an appointment or calling ahead. I had an appointment and was seen fairly quickly but they got busy early. read more

Definitely a great/convenient place if you are in a bind to get your nails done before an occasion or something. However, do not expect your nails to be perfect or mimic any inspo pictures that you have. Gel pedicure has left me with completely uneven gel polish (you can see the splotchy application in the middle of the toe) and manicure was disappointing at best (nail shapes are not even, nail lengths are not even, rough handling of my hands). read more

Big fat fail. I checked them out online and tried to take advantage of their online appointment system, which allowed me to book a pedicure for 3 pm today. Service was ok for manicure, she really cut my cuticles so much that she cut me on 3 fingers and my fingertips felt raw alll day, they still hurt. One finger is completely botched. She shapped the nail sideways that the side of my bare skin is out and hurts alot. My pedicure was good; she cleaned them Well which I really appreciate . Overall it's a nice salon, nice vibe and I'll definitely come back, however requesting a different person for my manicure. It was $95 for my dip manicure and gel Pedicure which I think is reasonable. I will give this place another shot in the future, I had an 11am appointment for both services together. However I was taken at 11:20 for my pedicure, they started my manicure 30 minutes later, thankfully I was still out by 12:30 as I told them I needed to be done as I had another appointment elsewhere. I will try this place out one more time before making my decision to return or not, my nails have hurt me all day since they were done yesterday. read more

I gave myself 24 hours to let my experience sink in but I'm still upset and my gel nails are already chipping. I came in yesterday after work around 3:45pm without an appointment. The place is large, clean, and newly renovated. They only had 2 customers at the time so they took me in immediately after I asked them if they could do holographic gel nails and remove my acrylics and how much all that would cost. The guy told me $35 for gel nails, $10 for removal, and $15 for holographic. I was like cool as long as I get this design I'm good! I sit down and they get to work. Cherry/Phung got to work trying to remove my acrylics. She was kind as were all the other staff members. I did find it annoying how much they spoke to each other in their language and you can tell when they were talking about you or others. There were also lots of techs coming and chatting and trying to see what I was getting and saying something about it. Side note I get my nails done maybe 1-2x a year for special occasions so I'm not really sure how long certain services should take but it took her over an hour to remove my acrylics. I was trying to get somewhere around 6ish which is why I came at the time I did. Anyway she got to work on the design, added a pinky nail tip ($5) on my left hand since that nail broke and by the time she was done it was already after 6pm. I loved the nails but there were 3 nails that either had bubbles, lumps, or a weird streak. I pointed it out to Phung and she said she had another appointment so she'd get someone else to fix it and I was like I can come back tomorrow if that works and she's like no we can do it now. So I was like okay it's just 3 nails I can manage another 10-15mins. Another member starts helping and instead of just fixing my 3 nails she starts buffing all the edges of my nails ruining each side of because she scraped off the polish. It looked like crap. When she finished my nails it was just so messy. More lumps, unevenness, and gaps where there were no polish. At this point it's 6:40pm. I'm pissed and my nails look like crap. They also kept saying it was lumpy because I got acrylics removed but that didn't sound right. So now it's close to their closing time and I'm unhappy and some other lady ( I think the manager) says they want to see me happy so they are going to remove all my polish and redo. I'm like I want to go home now and I can come back tomorrow because I really didn't want to get mad and lose my composure but they insisted they will get it done quickly and nicely so I stayed. A third person named Anh redid my nails and it's better this time but by the time I leave it's 7:25pm. They apologized and apparently gave me $15 off so my total was $50 but it was just an overall bad experience. What tipped me off today is that I looked at my nails and the tip of each nail is already coming off like how? It seems that the techs are either not experienced/need training or the materials/polishes they use are not good quality. Either way I hope they do better and if they don't know how to do something they should let the customer know instead of wasting their time. read more

Really like my nails just wish the red could've popped more but Nikki did a great job ! She asked me if the nail shape and color was good before doing all of them. I came in as a new client and was eager to try out this place. Unfortunately, my experience was one of the worst nail treatments I have received. The technician that I got was so rough on my nails with the drill. She burned everyone of my fingers even while I was telling her that it was burning. My nail beds are so damaged that they still felt sore afterwards. Safe to say that I won't be returning. Staff needs to be trained to use the drill appropriately. read more

This review is for Ann!! I showed her what I wanted and she delivered!! The color was slightly off from what the picture was but not everything can be to the T. And she did also give me colors to choose from but don't get me wrong, I'm not disappointed. I love them! She's super sweet and paid really close attention to detail. I loved that she showed me my nail shape after filing the first 2 to make sure I liked them. I also really appreciated that she gave me the cost of my nails before continuing further so that I wouldn't be surprised by the cost at the end. She was even willing to accommodate me when I was iffy about the color. Originally I had chosen a sheer color but didn't really like how my nails showed through. She showed me another color that was more opaque and even let me see how it would look as a test to see if that's what I would like. She made my experience wonderful.
