I came in today with my sister who had planned for us to have a mommy pedicure day. We chose to drive to Nails Paradise because we love to support small/new-ish businesses. Little did we know that she would be humiliated in front of other guests. When we walked in, there was 3 ladies sitting casually by the front door, they then signaled the "receptionist" to come up front to help us out. She didn't greet us, she just stared at my sister's face like there was something wrong with us being there. It was really awkward to say the least. We got seated down next to each other and I had gone to use the restroom. When I came back, a nail tech was helping my sister and I had Maricela (the sweetest) help me. I have nothing but good things to say about Maricela as she did my nails. She was friendly and customer service was great; from her. While my sister and I were talking, I saw my sister flinched a couple times and I had asked if she was okay. She replied and told me that she was cut twice by the tech which by the way didn't even ask her if the water was hot, or if she could cut her nails, nothing at all. It was odd but we let it play out. Then the nail tech got to her other foot and was hesitant to even touch it; almost like she was disgusted by my sister's toe (treated fungus). The tech then called the receptionist, told my sister that they were going to explain, and she went to grab another lady (who I assumed was the owner) and just like that they told my sister they have to decline her for a pedicure. I let Maricela finish doing my feet. When she was done, I wanted to double check if my bill was taken care of already by my sister but I had to wait to ask because she was on her personal phone. She called receptionist and then receptionist called another person to say they couldn't service me I have to see a podiatrist like I asked them to cure something. I asked for a pedicure that's it, I have been getting pedicures for years and have never been humiliated or turned away because of this. But I'm sure if I was a different ethnicity it wouldn't have been a problem. Replying to the amazing customer service from whoever that was. If you greet everyone the same then WHY WEREN'T WE GREETED AT ALL UNTIL I GREETED YOUR RECEPTIONIST? AND IM NOT BEING RACIST IM STATING FACTS THEIR WERE 8-9 FEMALES THERE ALL MIDDLE EASTERN AND 2 LATINAS THATS ABOUT 80% OF THE PEOPLE THERE! THANK YOU. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was the complete opposite and left a very negative impression. I booked a birthday appointment a month in advance and specifically requested a technician I trusted. Upon arrival, I was casually informed by the owner's wife, Gege, that the technician no longer works there--something that should have been communicated well before my appointment. As I calmly asked questions and clarified my budget, I was unexpectedly accused of being "aggressive" and "rude," despite maintaining a respectful and consistent tone throughout. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and instead of resolving the issue professionally, the owner's wife responded with hostility and ultimately due to the experience I chose to leave. This experience was not only upsetting but deeply disappointing, especially the day before my birthday. I did not feel welcomed, respected, or valued as a returning client. What stood out most was the complete lack of accountability or apology for how the situation was handled. Horrible experience! I would not recommend anyone visiting this nail shop unless they want to run the risk of catching an infection. The Russian technique done here is not correct. I was cut 6 times to bleeding and Anahit, the nail tech, continued to brush my bleeding cuticles. I have never been in so much pain from a Russian manicure. Would not recommend Nails Paradise. Super unprofessional. Booked a prom appointment on a Wednesday night for Friday afternoon, they canceled with no alternative. Then squeezed us in today Thursday but gave attitude about timing, and told my minor daughter pricing only after I stepped away--way higher than quoted on their app. and suddenly couldn't do the pedicure. Too many inconsistencies and poor communication. I got her up and left. We ended up going back to the salon we originally canceled to give them our business, and everything there was clear, professional, and upfront. If I could give them a negative 5 star I would. The owners don't know how to conduct bossiness! On two occasions they have cancelled or rescheduled my appointment. Last month they canceled my appointment reschedule it before calling me and advising an employee is texting me and when I called her she tells me to call nail salon because she's off - made no sense - professionals would call you before canceling and rescheduling! Today they canceled my appointment 2 mins before my appointment mind you they sent me a message at 11:58 am advising me of my appointment no reply needed is what the text says! My technician was GeGe. I showed her the inspo i wanted and she told me it would be $130, I proceeded to say That's a bit too much for me, I have $100 and she told me ok no worries I'll do a couple flowers only and we'll make the design to your $100 budget. Great and I said thank you. Fast forward to getting the base color on, it wasn't the exact color that was on the nail inspo. I did wait to tell her hoping the the base color she chose went with the blue French tip and unfortunately it did not so I asked her if she could change it and she got mad and said I won't take it off but I can layer a pink on top and I said yes, no problem.. When she layered the pink on top of the brown, it just looked too brown still so I asked if she could just remove that color and put a pink and honestly the pink they had didn't even match the picture at all, but I just picked a pink and I had her continue.. After that, she got an attitude and we get to finishing my nails and she doesn't do the flowers at all and I asked are we not gonna do flowers and with an attitude she said No and I was like OK so how much are these and she was like it's $100. $85 for the nail $15 for the French tip, I'm not even charging to take off the brown still talking with an attitude. I'm looking at their booklet and there's no $85 nail set, the largest amount I saw was $75 so when I said that, Gege continued to say that it was $75 plus $15 for length.. when additional money for the length I chose was never discussed. I was confused because she had just said she would do a design to fit my hundred dollar budget and when she got mad, she took that from me. I get it. It's $100 but it's about the principle. if you Say you're going to work with me keep your word. I walked out of there in tears because I felt Gege was being so mean. I did nothing wrong to her. There were a few ladies open to do our nails and they chose to not help us and help the next guest while we waited for the same nail lady to do our nails. Worst Mani/Pedi I've ever had. I really wanted to like this place since it's close to home and have gone twice. The first time was not great but I decided to give it one more try which was a huge mistake. The cuticles around my fingernails and toe nails are still swollen & throbbing hours later. The worst part is I went to do my nails for an event and now I don't even think I can wear open toe shoes that will show my swollen, cut up toes. I've never had a mani/pedi hurt so bad. Both technicians that helped me were just carelessly clipping away and cut me multiple times. One of them was talking on the phone half the time and seemed irritated to even be there. I will never go back there again and just hope to save someone the pain of having to endure a similar experience. Next day update: I was not surprised receive this type of message from the establishment after sharing my experience. Clearly, the issue wasn't the bad work, but my own failure to manifest happiness into your technician's hands. Next time I'll try harder to radiate inner peace while watching my nails get butchered. I've been here a few times and gotten different services: removal only, gel mani/pedi a couple times, and gel x done. I wanted to love this place but unfortunately I do think its a 3 star salon. Pros: -Good customer service. All the techs and receptionist are nice. When you first start coming here they offer you water, tea, or coffee, but dont after a couple visits. -I can see they clean and sterilize their tools, i really appreciate that as its honestly rare in the valley for some reason -Josy is a great nail tech, probably one of the best ones they have. She's very knowledgeable on her craft, takes care to do a good job, and if you do come here I'd recommend requesting her. -They have a reward system where you come back a few times and get a certain amount off of a visit. -Prices are fair and they're very transparent about it. Cons: -As other reviews stated (on yelp at least), you get cut here a LOT. Out of the multiple times I've been here, its rare i DONT get cut. The first time I came here I got cut a couple of times which I chalked up to just being an accident. The last time I went here i got cut 3 times on a couple of fingers and a toe. Which is why im happy their tools are clean at least but still, it should not happen so often as it risks infection. -The gel x set i got here was just okay. The shaping was subpar and they started lifting pretty quick. when I came back for removal, the tech i had asked me where and when i got it done and was shocked at the lifting I had. -the cuticle work (other than the making you bleed) is usually not the best. Same with the shaping. If you look closely at some of the pics other reviewers post here, the cuticles and shape are a bit messy. Overall, I think this salon has great potential. The techs just need more practice and more care when working with the natural nail and skin. And this doesnt bother me but it may bother other ppl: sometimes they will be speaking with eachother in a different language, just in general but also sometimes about you (not always maliciously). It can be a bit loud in here with them talking to each other, kids running around, and party music which i personally dont mind but doesnt make for a relaxing environment if that's what you're looking for. read more

I've debated to make this review since the service here was amazing However, the quality was not great at all I came in for a manicure and was a little skeptical when i was getting them done by an older lady who seemed very lost. When prepping my nails she filed my nails way too thin, my cuticles were cut just as previous reviews. Anxious just by how prep was going I still had faith it will be great. When applying the nails it was a bit sloppy and gel kept over spilling. The design was the most disappointing of all. Not all of my nails were cured, if they were there was nail dust or lint on them. I can say she tried her best but it was not close to the design at all and i left very sad and embarrassed. With all of this said, I do believe this place has potential but they need a lot of practice. I hope they get more training and the business thrives. read more

My technician that did not have name tag but she did my manicure cut my skin down too much, made me bleed. I inform her she cut too much and still trying to cut more everything.
