I feel like I wasted $30 on my nails. I needed to get what was left of my acrylics taken off and had asked for a regular manicure. I didn't think I was asking for a lot when I showed them my inspiration picture... I wanted some cute fall nails and left with a hot mess. There was little to no care taken with my nails. Is it normal to remove acrylics with an unused one from the case? That seemed like a strange way of doing it... I don't know how sanitary that is either. My hands usually feel pretty good after getting my nails done, but I left with dryer hands than when I came in. Polish wasn't applied very carefully and the edges weren't cleaned after. I wasn't asked if I liked the colors as I had at other salons. I had 2 people work on my nails... the girl that painted them, missed that I wanted the glitter nail and just painted it dark. I sat under the dryer for 10-20 minutes without being checked on and was told to leave after I checked my own nails. I seriously feel like they just wanted me out of the salon. This place is dirty (the implements used were stuffed in a drawer, nail clipper was filthy and rusted), staff are slow, service is rude. Appointment times are not respected. The nail stations are junky and run down. The staff do not demonstrate the skills necessary for proper nail care and hygiene. Standards appear to be non existent. Yuck! read more

I went here to get my nails done with my sister and from the beginning to the end I was in so much pain. The lady who was filling my nail seems like she wasn't experienced enough! The lady who was giving me a Pedi, burn me with super hot water. She kept picking my cuticle so hard that it hurt! Don't go here!!!!!! They are so bad! read more

This was the worst nail experience I have ever had! They look fine from afar but don't be fooled. They first of all were super aggressive and my fingers were stinging like crazy and hurt so bad. They didn't pay attention to detail, messed up the shape and had to re-do it a million times and still looked awful in the end. I got the colour white and one of my hands was yellow because they used different machines to dry each hand. The tips are super thick and polish is everywhere. I ended up being in there for a super long time and it was a bad experience and they looked awful and I asked for money off of it because it was already $60 without a tip and they proceeded to get annoyed with my asking and only gave me $5 off the worst nails i've ever gotten. 0/10 wouldn't recommend. This used to be my go to nail salon when they first opened. Unfortunately the quality has gone down the last year. My daughters and I used to visit a couple times a month and they have both stopped going. I went this one last time as I was able to get an appointment last min. Paula, who I believe owns the salon, did my nails. The service was extremely rushed and abrupt. She was very rough with my hands and seemed distracted by other clients stopping half way through my nails to start on another client. She filed my corners so hard and fast that it sliced the sides of my skin open, causing quite a bit of bleeding. It hurt so badly I could barely let her finish my nails. She didn't offer any type of discount, just a quick dismissive apology. This was a really disappointing visit and I won't be going back. read more

This is my second time going here for a pedicure and they do an amazing job here. There massages are amazing for your legs and they really take the time to make you feel relaxed. The only thing stopping me from giving them 5 stars is that the girl I had didn't take the dry part off of some of my heel. Other then that the pedicure was very relaxing and the artwork that she put on my toes is super cute! read more

went to this place for the first time with friends and we were all left unsatisfied. first off they are extremely aggressive literally shaking the table when working on you. due to this it was extremely painful, i was actually left with cuts on multiple fingers due to them using a nail file way to harsh. they began to bleed and feel like thick deep paper cuts, that stung and were irritated when awful smelling products were put on top. my friends were left with wonky shapes and bumps. please do not go to this place unless u want your skin split open and ugly nails. read more

Likely the worst place I have ever been to for a set of nails. I think about 4 different people worked on my nails. One would come over and start filing and putting tips on, then a new client would walk in the door wanting a service, so then they would go start something on them. Meanwhile I'm sitting there with half done nails under the UV lamp to dry the glue which is actually just crazy glue and doesn't require UV light for anything. And then another lady comes over and carries on my nails, speaks absolutely no English. Has to ask someone else to translate anything I say, how do you work this closely with people in Canada and speak absolutely no English. Anyways, the nails look like hell. They cut my skin so many times with the edge of the nail file because they didn't bother to smooth it out or take their time doing anything. Absolutely will not be back. My bff and I went to this nail salon last Thursday and it was awesome. We wanted to try a place we had never been before, so thought we would give it a try and was pleasantly surprised! We both got pedicures. They took their time and got all the dead skin off. I appreciate the effort they put in and we both left feeling relaxed. I've been to every similar nail salon in the area, and this one has been the best so far. I think they may need to get a few more nail colour selections, but that's my only criticism. I called in ahead of time to see if they could take me in and they said yes, however they did my nails half way and and then went to work on another customer. I ended up waiting for at least a half hour for the lady to continue working on my nails, and received a bumpy, horribly shaped acrylic set. This place is not worth the money and will tell you they have time to do your service and then stop half way though to work on another customer. Not impressed ! read more

Booked a manicure and shellac here today with Cindy. Truly the best experience I have had in a nail salon! I came in with damaged nails and Cindy was very helpful in suggesting colors so it was not visible. Very gentle with the file and the shellac edges were perfect, which is hard to find in my opinion. I went here a year ago and had an amazing experience. I raved about it so much my friend and I decided to go for pedicures today. Our massaging chairs did not work. Hers did, then it quit working. Mine didn't work, then started to - although none of the buttons worked to change settings. We asked to be moved to free chairs. They did not move us. The water for our foot bath was cold. And both of our feet are rough on the bottom. The lady who worked on my feet was very potlite and friendly - but the lady who did my friends pedicure was not friendly at all. I have only been once before and saw Paula. I asked for her today and she bumped ;me off onto someone who clearly did not know what she was doing. she took forever, gave a horrible foot massage, smudged my nails after putting her cheap sandals over the top of the toe separators ( really ????) Who does this sort of amateur unprofessional thing?? Then she sent me out to pay and did not offer to fix the mess!!!! Two of my nails are missing polish, she creamed my feet then took all the cream off with alcohol?? Two of my nails are very sharp ;and I had to tell her how to cut them!! Don't go !! I went in tonight for a pedicure and acrylic nails with shellac color. Worst experience ever. The girl doing my pedicure cut my toe while trimming my cuticle and it bled for over 15 minutes. My finger nails look even worse. It looks like someone did it with their eyes closed. It's a blobby mess, and the shape is uneven . There is even a purple/blue tinge around my cuticle area. Not sure why. I had no nail polish on beforehand. Needless to say, I spent over $100 and will not be back. I used to come here often but the service has really went downhill. If you want a quick Brazilian wax, they are good at that, but definitely the most painful one I have ever had. She didn't give me much time in between strips, just enough time for her to apply wax to a new spot, rip-wax-rip, and then the dabbing thing they do to get all remaining wax. I was a bit disappointed that I had to ask for a towel to cover myself, but they also didn't use the pre waxing cleanser. When I got home I gave it a full look over and just had to get a few hairs myself, so she did a good job, just not what I'm used to, but I was in a bind. If you want a cheap, quick wax with no "spa" experience, they get the job done! read more

First time to this salon and was welcomed as I walked in the door by several staff. Because I didn't know anybody I was lucky to get my nails filled by Paula whom turned out to do an amazing job. I would call my nails as perfect to what I wanted as one can get. She is a very cheerful lovely lady and will definitely go back to her. I've been getting my nails done for about 15 years and have had a few bad experiences so I was prepared for this time to be one of those times. I usually go to where someone recommends to me but had no one I know have got their nails done there. I was absolutely thrilled about the whole experience and Paula is absolutely outstanding! I received the absolute worst manicure today...absolutely unacceptable and terrible. She didn't even remove all of my previous nail polish, so the dark from before is very visible with the new lighter colour. The polish is ridgy and just done terribly....super disappointed. read more

When I make an appointment I Dont mind waiting 5 min give or take. This unfortunately isn't the case here. There are only 2 staff members and only one of them does nails. They tell you they'll be just a minute which really means, if you're lucky, you'll be taken care of within the hour, even if you had an appointment, it doesn't matter. Trying to jam in walk-ins with the regular appointments with only 1 nail tec isn't working for this place. She's doing the nails much too quickly and not taking het time. 5 broken nails in 2 weeks, not great. She's also trying to pass off acrylic nails as "solar gel" Pretty sneaky. I recommend for a friend to try her as well and her experience has been the same as mine. Neither or us will be back. read more

Absolutely horrible. Even 1 star is a little much. Asked for a mani with full set of clear acrylics. Was told it would be $50 which was pricy for acrylics with no colour, but I decided to continue. Before she put on the powder I told her the shape I wanted, she said okay, but didn't shape or file them, she then proceeded to start putting the powder on which I then reminded her of the shape I wanted, but she said no after. She put the powder on in a way I've never seen done before which made it very thick & bumpy. After the powder dried she started filing by hand, which was very aggressive & painful. Using the mechanical file she ended up cutting me on multiple fingers, which completely defeated the purpose of the manicure that I paid extra to get. After my nails had dried she put oil & just told me to rub it in instead of using a cotton to clear all my nails which is a basic thing done at ANY nail salon. After going up to pay I see that my nails are crooked. I tell her & she sends another lady which just hounded me with questions. After finally trying to help her understand what I'm talking about she takes me back to the chair & had to fix multiple fingers (which she noticed on her own). They are bubbly, & you can see dirt inside of the acrylics. Overall, horrible experience. The only reason I came was because my regular nail salon was closed on a Sunday. Don't come here. Went in last week for a pedicure. The pedicure process itself was wonderful - quiet and relaxed, the hot stones and massage were fantastic. I was really pleased! However within a day the polish had chipped on a few toes, and after 3 days almost an entire nails worth of polish fell off my big toe, and the others are looking very worse for wear. Usually a pedicure (even non shellac) lasts me a good week or two before it very minorly chips. Very torn about repeat business here as it was a very clean salon, the girls were all nice and the process itself was great, however the final product wound up being subpar! read more
