They are friendly, help lift my legs when they see I am struggling & ALWAYS do an amazing job. I get the full treatment with massaging of feet/calves which I need & try not to sleep. Services can be booked easily over the phone or from their website and they send a reminder text confirming your appointment which is super helpful!! My favourite type of nail service is with the Solar Powder line (see red / green nails in photos attached) which appear like literal glass on your hands, are super durable and are able to be formed to your nail bed into any desired shape. I used a nail extension as a tip then the solar powder on top and the gel colour for the top coat which has helped my otherwise weak nails to grow out while providing reliable beautiful strong nails that I can rely on working with various equipment/machinery/tools and cleaning supplies at my job. They are almost always right on schedule and cause clients to wait long, oftentimes even starting earlier than scheduled if their staff are free and have been willing to book on the same day which was very appreciated when I broke a nail while at work. Their bathroom, furniture, and all equipment/tools are kept super clean and the salon as a whole is tidy and well taken care of. Most times the space is accompanied by diverse music and lively conversations, though you're welcome to listen to your own music/audiobooks/other with your headphones. I personally prefer keeping my sunglasses on during my appointments as the lights and light coloured walls/tables are bright for me which has never been an issue to accommodate.

When I went to pay I found out that they charged $55- definitely the "industry standard" for the same service in a much nicer location. Victoria Nails and Spa is NOT a good budget choice for waxing. The treatment itself went okay- one woman started using roll-on wax (of which I'm not a fan), and a second woman came in midway, scolded her and the two of them went to work applying the wax with a wooden "spatula" (better for accurate application and, based on the look of the salon, more hygienic). The linens and towels didn't look super-clean, but I'm not sure how much of that was just due to their old age. The waxers weren't particularly friendly and I got the impression they wanted to rush me in and out (despite the fact that when I booked the appointment I said I could come anytime and they could schedule me where it was best for them). I can't comment on their nail services, but I definitely recommend that people seeking waxing go to a nicer salon, where you can get similar (or better) service for the same price.
