Booked a mani pedi for two people... got here and they started one and then 1 whole hour later the other person with me asked to take their feet out of the water because the water was freezing. They ended up leaving because it took so long! Other people were entering and being serviced and they made nothing but excuses without apology. Don't trust them to do gel. Four days after I got it, the gel completely broke off the top of one nail. It looked terrible. I went back and they repaired it. The next day, two more gel nails had broken! I phoned, explained, and said two I'd come by before 7pm or in the a.m. I WALKED OVER A MILE, showed up at 6:20 since she said they were open til 7pm, and the place was COMPLETELY CLOSED. What a WASTE OF TIME. Now my nails will look terrible this weekend -- I've gone there 3 times for one gel manicure -- and 3 nails have broken off already. Heard great reviews of this place and thought I would try it out yesterday. I came in for a regular pedicure polish. When I first walked in, I was noticing how hot the little business was. The door was open, but there were no fans or air conditioning. The water my feet were in were 2x hotter than the room temperature and I was thinking that maybe it was just a fluke thing for the day. I chose a maroon color as summer is nearing to an end and fall is just around the corner. The nail attendant catered to washing my feet and toes and began to massage my feet. Her touch was very light, so I asked if she could press a little harder. It felt fine in the beginning. Like other nail ladies, she offered me other options for higher paying prices. I kept rejecting, because I didn't want to spend a lot of money. But for working 40 hours a week, I wanted to treat myself and have a little more TLC with how appreciative I am towards my feet for standing/walking so long during my shifts. The nail attendant offered an extra 10 minute massage for $10 more. I agreed - not knowing what the original price of a regular pedicure was. She continued to say that this foot massage would be food for circulation, so I trusted her and let her do her thing. At times, the pressure was kind. Others it felt like my feet were stepping on sharp objects and hitting my nerves. In the moments of pain, I thought to myself that maybe I just need to relax and the pain won't be there. I tried to do just that but it was not working. The nail lady squished my feet so hard it made my veins pop out LITERALLY. She then painted my toes and said I was done. The bill came out to $35, but she even had the audacity to ask me for a cash tip. I did not want to pay a cent more because of how rough my feet were handled, but I thought if I did a kind gesture of $3 - maybe I would get good karma and the pain would ware off. I went home and after 2 hours of being home, my feet were in excrusiating pain. I looked down to my feet and noticed that my veins were more noticeable than they ever were and I was left with bruises and swelling on my feet. The pain is almost unbearable and I have already planned to see my doctor to find a treatment. I wanted to call the nail salon right away, but they had just closed. THIS IS NOT NORMAL AND NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS. I plan to call in the morning. Additionally, my friend who also got her nails done was shocked to see how bad the paint job was. We hear such great reviews from this place and it is actually a SHIT show. Her white manicure was nothing other than an appalling paint job. It was as if the nail attendant just wanted to leave and hop to the next person. The paint job of her nails are janky and cracked. DEFINITELY NOT OK. Are these nail attendants even certified??? I am NOT amused and I have never seen anything like this before. read more

I recently moved to the area and have been here twice. Once for a gel manicure and pedicure, and another time for gel removal/regular manicure + massage, seeing four different technicians in all---and I have nothing but positive things to say! I'm very picky about my nails, and I've been to nails salons all over LA, OC, and NYC. They did a fabulous job, and I think this is the first time I have ever had a salon give me a gel manicure that lasted 2+ weeks (I'm not fussy with the aftercare, type a lot for work, clean, cook, obsessively use hand sanitizer, etc.) and my nails usually chip after a week on average. When I had the gel removed, I expected my nails to be thinned out and damaged, and was shocked by what good condition they were in, and by how long they were able to keep them, thanks to how careful they were when removing the gel! My manicure post gel removal looked great! Everyone here is so friendly, nice and warm. It reminds me of the cozy nail places my mom and I used to go to when I was a kid, where they remember and care about their customers. read more

Nails for You is fantastic! All staff members are very kind, helpful and friendly. This is an extremely clean establishment and the workers make sure to follow all hygienic protocols. When I arrived, they were sanitizing the entire store before my entry. They were so excited to see me and so so welcoming. I got a mani, pedi and i was so happy with the way my nails turned out. The gel lasts for 3 weeks and doesn't thin your nails like others sometimes do. If you are in the coastal OC area, I highly recommend visiting this nail salon! You won't regret it :) read more

I was not going to leave a review because the woman who seems like the manager was nice (she was not the one doing my nails) but after I left I had cuticles on 2 of my nails bleeding. I asked for manicure with down dip color. The woman doing my nails used the electric filer practically the whole time and kept burning me. MULTIPLE TIMES I PULLED MY HAND AWAY AND SAID "ow." And she did not really change much. The actual polish looks so bad, theres spots missing on the sides and corners and my nails are not all the same shape. At the end, my thumb cuticle was bleeding and she tried to say it was because the gel drier was hot...No it was from her using the electric thing too close to my skin. She did not even do a manicure, no cleaning under my nails, no soak, scrub or lotion...and then charged me $48! I asked to see their price list and she then got annoyed with me. New to the area and disappointed as this location is close to home. Employees were friendly but the salon was not so clean, lots of dust and nail bits on the floor, chair, chair table. The tools were so dull I felt like she had to pull at my skin instead of cutting. My cuticles were a wreck and took about 2 weeks for some spots to heal. I had them work on my heels (not that bad, I use a pumice stone daily when I shower). My heel split and that took 2 weeks to repair as well. Color selection was not too plentiful as well. read more
