If you are a local: do not come here. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came here because my other amazing nail place is closed for construction, so I thought I'd support the one down the street and that was a complete mistake. I got a full set and a pedicure. The woman doing the pedicure did a great job but the woman Tracy doing my nails was already aggressive the second I sat down in the chair. She was yanking my hands and was filing my nails down so fast she sliced my finger open and it was gushing blood for a minute. Not even a sorry or stop the service to make sure I was good to clean and disinfect the area or my finger. Which as a licensed esthetician is what you are supposed to do, I know because I am one. She proceeded to grab my finger she sliced open and continue the service when I told her multiple times that's the one she cut open. I got charged full price for this terrible experience too, even with paint still all over my fingers. So do yourself a favor and go to Star nails down the street and not this tourist trap. I think this was the BEST manicure and pedicure I have ever had! This place is so clean, organized, and located right on PCH. Let me tell you that my positive experience at this spa literally started from the moment I called to find out the prices and if they had an available appointment. Jennifer was so polite, kind, and patient on the phone. I really value customer service and this truly welcoming attitude I felt over the phone just continued as I stepped into this location. Jennifer warmly greeted me, Amber and Lisa did my gel manicure and spa pedicure. They were all so thorough, kind, and took care of me so well! They didn't seem rushed at all and they really cared about making sure I had a good experience. They were both very experienced and were really methodical with servicing me. This might be TMI but both of my big toenails were messed up. One was cracked and the other really torn and kept getting stuck on blankets, socks, etc. So that is one of the reasons I wanted a pedicure. They did a great job fixing both of these nails for me and I can't even tell that they were in such bad shape to begin with. If you are in or near Laguna Beach and want to really get your money's worth, I highly recommend you visit this nail spa... You will have no regrets! My DIP manicure came off like stick ons. Horrible! I went on Saturday with my friends and here on Tuesday 7 of my dip nails have popped off in one piece. They started lifting the next day. This place is a bait and switch as far as pricing goes. I paid $33 for a buff manicure. (Without tip) Allegedly the upgraded service that I paid for did not include the buff or cuticle cutting BUT WOULD HAVE INCLUDED POLISH; Therefore I'm curious as to why A nail buff actually costs more when they actually do less work? . Perhaps instead of having a fancy upgrade sign they should spell out the fact that they do not perform normal and customary services as far as manicures go. read more

The girls were very welcoming & accommodating when my husband & I walked in. We had called ahead & made appointments. The actual nail treatment I received was a pedicure and a new acrylic set with gel polish. It turned out really well. They matched the regular polish for my pedicure to my fingernails. The toenail polish looked very nice. I would suggest you be very clear about what you want before you sit down. The nail technician had me sit in the pedicure chair & started my pedicure. For some reason they seated me in the pedicure chair with the rollers already on... Sometime these types of massage chairs feel great, but getting the position set to accommodate your height makes a big difference in how it feels. The pedicure chair was comfortable, after they turned off the rolling parts which were hurting my back, as I was squished in the chair. They helped me move the chair back as I am 5'10" and the person before me must have been very short. Then another girl came over and didn't ask, but just started my acrylic fill. I stopped her & requested she soak off the old acrylic set. She said most of them looked fine and did not seem to understand my request & started drilling. I again requested a soak off. To me that means put my fingers in the bowls & let me relax while I get my pedicure. She did not do that. She was drilling & pulling my right hand over to the left side where she drills and then back in the soak off bowl. It was frustrating and uncomfortable, not relaxing at all. It was totally my fault for not being clear about my preferences. The pedicure was probably very good but I was pretty miserable during the process and the extra leg massage was a waste of tine & money due to the soaking off drilling & then putting my hands under the gel light. The employees spoke Vietnamese during our nail appointment. I can not imagine that they do not understand how rude it is to carry on a conversation in a different language while providing a service. We will likely go back because they were friendly and did a nice job... the shop seemed clean & there was a liner in the pedicure bowl. If we return, I will be more clear before I sit down. I will also request they speak English as opposed to a language that I do not understand. If all goes well, I will write an update to this review. read more

My husband and i come into this nail salon every two weeks and LOVE IT. We moved to Laguna Beach in April and tried 2 other nail spots before finding this gem... it opened in May so they are also a fairly new spa with beautiful CLEAN decor and all the bells and whistles. Someone always answers the phone or responds to yelp made appointments quickly. They also offer dip powder nails which was very hard to find here in Laguna Beach! The girls are Soooo sweet and always make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The music is always very "vaca vibes" and they have great prices and packages! My favorite girls are always Cathy and Kim, they're so attentive and sweet and let you relax while you're there but also make friendly conversation. I decided to get a Manicure and Pedicure for my Baby Shower. I was hesitant because most nail salons that I go to, the customer service has either been poor, or injured me. I AM HAPPY TO SAY THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I am a first time customer and ordered the Ocean Royal package, with gel polish and it was what this new mother to be needed. My daughter and I like to go together for pedicures, and they always do a beautiful job. It's also a nice, relaxing place to be with a friendly vibe. Today, they went above and beyond. I tied my 85-pound dog up outside because she's had separation anxiety post-pandemic. They kindly gave her a bowl of water, some treats and affection. But she also was made nervous by the pedestrians who kept walking by and my pedicurist said she could come in if she would sit nicely. Well, that my dog is very good at. She lay down between my chair and my daughter's, and my pedicurist was so sweet to her. It was a terrific experience and I really thank the lovely people here. Plus my pale-mauve toenails look terrific. Oh, and the pedicurist finished with a damp, hot washcloth against the soles of my feet -- heaven! read more
