Amazing Experience at Cosmo Nail Bar! I had an incredible experience at Cosmo Nail Bar! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a clean, relaxing atmosphere. The salon is beautifully designed, and you can tell they prioritize both hygiene and customer comfort. My nail technician was professional, meticulous, and truly an artist. They took the time to shape my nails perfectly and paid attention to every detail. Their nail art and design skills are amazing--they can be incredibly creative and artistic, bringing any idea to life with precision and style. The service was efficient yet never rushed, and I appreciated the extra effort they put into making sure I was happy with the results. Whether you're looking for a simple manicure, intricate nail art, or a luxurious spa pedicure, this is definitely the place to go! I highly recommend Cosmo Nail Bar to anyone looking for top-notch service, skilled technicians, and a relaxing experience. I'll definitely be coming back! DON'T GO HERE!! Nail tech burned me with the up lamp and put gel all over my cuticle. When I told her ouch and pulled my hand back she would reach over grab my arm and hold it under longer even tho we could both feel it was hot to the touch. From the product being to close to the lamp. Now 2 weeks later... had them removed and OMG so bad. My natural nails were so damaged from the set she put on. She filed off my entire natural nail bed!! Save yourself some pain and find another place read more

This place is amazing. Just had the best 30 min basic mani/pedi of my life. Hands and feet look so good. Their massage chairs are gods gift to the earth, and the technicians wonderful. Super clean space and great energy. Highly recommend. I haven't left a nail salon that relaxed in a very long time. read more

If you are visiting Laguna or trying to find a new go to salon, this is not the place, encourage you to look elsewhere. I recently visited this nail salon and would not recommend. When I called in to make an appointment, I asked specifically for poly gel/builder gel and asked for the price. The lady said yes they could do it and it would be $45 so I booked an appointment. While at the salon, the lady was using the dremmel to remove my old purple color however she was hardly getting the color off. There is still purple around the corner of my nails, even after she put the new color on. Then, she pulled out dip powder to put on my nails. I stopped her and reminded that I asked for the poly/builder gel and she said no that is something different, we are doing dip powder. When I reminded her about our phone conversation and that she said they do that for $45 she said no it's $60 if you want that. I was quite pissed considering I called in advance to confirm their services and pricing. This lady also filed the sides of my nails way too narrow, to the point she filed into my nail bed. It's been 2 days since I got my nails done now and I have incredible pain around my nails because of how far into my nail bed she filed, and it is likely turning into an infection. Terrible experience with this salon overall. Would not recommend. read more

This place is alright, if you ask for a regular manicure they're going to try and upsell you for the shiny buff (extra $7 which is ridiculous) and no polish. I said several times I wanted the polish but she kept insisting on the shiny buff because of my short nails. Not to add that as soon as I walked in they pretty much gave me no choice but to do a 10 min massage as she had the timer set and was not letting up that I was ok without a massage. $41 later for a wet oily tshirt and a clean up of my cuticle and buffing .... read more

Also a great place to relax and unwind. Tina is amazing (!!!!!!) and usually knows just what I need, she will also fix something, hassle free, is I ask. Great local spot though some prices could be better (shiny buff has gone up from $3 to $6 now $7 since new ownership, which seems excessive read more

summary: I do not normally get my nails done but I am very happy with my results. Everyone was so nice and accomodating to what I wanted and I would definitely come back here. Great customer service and great nails. The inside of the salon is clean and calming, and the massage chairs are really nice. As for the pedicure itself, Emy was gentle and kind. I loved the mini calf massage I got and the scrub. I will not be posting pictures of my feet, but she did a great job with the nail polish itself. She even helped me put on my sandals because I was 100% incapable of doing so myself. As for my manicure, I could not be more than happy with my results. I asked Kim for a geometric design with normal polish, and she did not disappoint. I think it looks even better than the photos I showed her for reference. The girls in the photos probably had acrylic nails and more space, but it still looks great on my natural nails. I also felt really really really really bad because once she put down the layers of pink, she left to get something and I accidentally messed up three of my nails because I went to scratch my face and they hit the plastic border that they put up for COVID. She was really nice about it and redid those nails for me. I was careful not to lift my hands after that. They had hand sanitizer had every manicure station and the front desk. They ask you to use it before picking out the polishes. They also check your temperature and provide masks for people who do not have one (idk why anyone wouldn't in the middle of a pandemic). All of the staff wore masks 100% of the time. I felt pretty safe getting my nails done here, so if you are in the area and you want a mani/pedi, I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

Rude, ignored me, wasn't helpful at all. And overpriced Yeah, hard pass for me Be aware! read more

I just had the most wonderful experience ever at a nail salon! The entire staff was so sweet and accommodating. I am very picky and I was particular that I want a light pink that almost looks white - but it's not white. The team went out of their way to find the exact color I wanted based on the photo I showed them from Pinterest. I was also on the phone for a bit for work (which isn't very polite of me), yet they still worked around me to help me from the pedicure chair to the nail station; I was very impressed and thankful. They did a great job on my nails, the shop itself is pretty and very clean, and with the awesome staff, I HIGHLY recommend. I am so happy this is a convenient location for me and can't wait for my next visit! read more

Nicest ladies ever and did SO well on my nails and really paid attention to detail on them making them perfect. Definitely visit if you're in Laguna Beach. read more

I come here because I live in town but I've def had better. Will probably continue to come here out of convenience and there is a coffee shop right next door. My mani/pedi's never have clean lines and the polish just seems chunky. It's one of those where is looks good from far away but you can def see the poor quality up close. The ladies that work there are very nice and hospitable though, so that is a plus. read more

I called Cosmo to see if they do gel builder fills. When I asked, the woman who answered told me to hold and I could hear her talking with someone else (presumably another employee). After quite some time waiting and listening to them go back and forth, she told me they could do my nails then. But let me just say, the short answer is no, they don't know, nor do they have someone competent to do a gel builder fill. Period. What a waste of time and money. Leaving there I looked like I let my niece in 5th grade play nail tech and experiment on my nails. The gal who did my nails said she wanted them thin and more natural. What that translates to was, she did the nail beds so thin, if you pushed on my nails they bent. Bent! They were literally all cracked and broken within 2 days. The tips were thick, burly and looked like a drunk did them. The nails weren't even smooth. I am ashamed I paid $50 and then tipped. I should have walked out and asked them to pay me because I had to immediately rip them all off and get a new set at a salon where they are actually trained to do gel builder. So, let me be the sacrificial lamb... the answer is NO. THEY DO NOT DO GEL BUILDER NAILS. They don't know how. They are incompetent and will leave you with trash on your nails. Do not pass go. Don't collect all 4. Keep it pushing to another nail salon. They may be good at slapping some Polish on a naked nail, but beyond that, it's a no. In response to Trish's phone call, text and now reply on Yelp. No, I'm not willing to take my review down. I understand how that would benefit your business but that's the whole point of Yelp, to give real reviews. My review was the work was trash. Why the heck would I want to come back for more? I am not a masochist. Additionally, I find it suspect that with only so few reviews for this salon, there have been 4 5 star reviews today. This isn't my first Yelp rodeo and I wouldn't be surprised if those are fake reviews by friends, family, employees or people asked to provide an inflated review for some benefit. Yelp picks up on this trucks quickly too. Good luck with that. read more

I just adore Tina! she does the best pedicure and I always have ingrown toenails, so she is the only one I trust. customer for life.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I got my nails done in November during COVID and they recorded temperature checks and everything was sanitized. Hands down, the BEST manicure I have ever gotten in my life. When I wasn't satisfied with the color I initially chose, Kim and the woman at the reception desk suggested a different color that I ended up loving. I don't recommend doing this and am embarrassed to admit that I left the manicure on for almost 7 WEEKS and there was ZERO chipping or cracking. WOW -- thanks KIM for the highest quality, longest lasting manicure I have ever had. I wish I lived in California so I could go back to this salon regularly. read more

This is my favorite place in town for pedicure. Come here to relax and get pampered. Always get Dimond Pedicure package, which I highly recommend. Good pedicure, terrible gel manicure. Came in for builder gel, tech applied 4 layers of something that didn't build at all... She told me how my nails should look more natural (rude) and then did a messy job with the polish. Just got home, it's already chipped. Just wanted to leave. read more

I stopped by this place while in Laguna beach looking to get a new color for summer. I had Tina, a wonderful smiley person. She took great care of me while being very attentive to all of my demands. My husband and I did a walk in for a couple of pedicures and we walked out somewhat happy with what we got for the most part. We were happy they got us in for a walk in and had a relaxing time. I came in last Monday to get my birthday nails done. Everyone was super sweet and it was great customer service but it was very clear the nail technician didn't know what he was doing. He cut into my nail bed to the point where I had multiple fingers start bleeding. Also as soon as I walked out I started noticing imperfections with the nails. They weren't caped and the sides were not cleaned up, so unfortunately as a result half of them came off by mid-week. I got gel because I wanted them to stay for at least a while and when I do my own gel nails they remain for at least 2 weeks no problems. It's a week later and my nails are totally gone and I feel ripped off :(. read more

I was in Laguna Beach Monday and needed a mani/pedi. I found Cosmo Nail Bar and was so thrilled with the experience. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. They both made sure I was relaxed the entire time I was there. The next time I'm in Laguna Beach, I'll be sure to stop by again. Can't thank Tommy & Tina for a very wonderful morning...
