I hadn't seen Claudia in awhile because of my job as a math teacher. I told her to shape my eyebrows to how it should naturally go, but she shaped them as if my eyebrows are tilting inwards. After dealing with the death of a student, I wanted to finally get my eyebrows done. I do not recommend her or the other lady. Claudia, the brow guru! Claudia checks all of boxes: 1. Brows are her baby 1st and foremost: I mean, you could go to a nail shop who also will wax your brows but do they really know brows? Claudia at Immaculate Brows knows brows! 2. Claudia is a real artist and doesn't rely on a stencil: This one is huge. I have been to brow people who put a stencil on your brows and try to make your brows "fit" into this one size fits all stencil then they proceed to tell me about how my brows don't really work but if I buy these products and fill them in to match the stencil then they will look good. Claudia is not like this at all. She sees how your individual brows grow(yes there are 2 brows and they are close sisters but not identical), chats with you about your brow goals and will work with your personal growth patterns to shape and groom them so they can look good both with or without makeup. 3. Online scheduling for appointments: Because don't we all just randomly remember to schedule our brow appointments while laying in bed at 6am or 10pm or is that just me!? :-) 4. Appointments are on time: I never have to wait past my appointment time and if I ever do, it's less than 5 minutes, which is basically nothing. With that being said... your appointment duration is your appointment duration. If you show up 15 minutes late to your 30 minute appointment then you have to understand you are gonna get whatever can be done in that remaining 15 minutes. It's not a punishment, it's just reality because Claudia is respectful of all of her clients time and her next clients shouldn't have to wait or have their appointments rushed because someone else was late. 5. Great quality wax and waxing technique: I guess my skin is sensitive because lots of waxes make my skin break out. I have not broken out once since seeing Claudia. 6. Claudia is the person for your eyebrows! I had never had my eyebrows done professionally before coming to immaculate brows (I just plucked them myself and had messed them up). Claudia was so nice when I first met her and was kind enough to draw out where she was going to leave vs remove hair and make sure I was comfortable with the plan. My very first visit to her I had a weird reaction to the wax around my brows. No problem. I have very sensitive skin apparently just around my eyes. Claudia did a GREAT job on my brows. She just opened Immaculate Brows. I was a client of hers at a former place she worked, but am so happy with her work that I followed her to the new location. I have had horrible experiences at other places and when I went to Claudia I didn't realize how great the experience and service could be. Claudia is very conscious about not over waxing which I appreciate, but waxes enough to last me weeks without wanting to pluck them on my own. At our first appointment, she drew brow lines on my face to educate me on how my brows should be shaped based on my face. She was very open to keeping the shape the way I had them, but being an expert in her field, wanted to provide a good recommendation, which I loved!!!
