This was my first time going and I actually didn't mind it. Staff are friendly (which is saying a lot because a lot of these nail salons have rude staff) and the prices are more than fair. Henry was the one doing my nails and he did a good job, however I felt he was rushing a bit and I didn't really appreciate how he got up and left and never came back to check up on me. I went to remove my biogel nails because I've had it on for months & I really missed having my natural nails. Usually I go to Miki Nails in Pacific Mall however I live in Brampton and didn't want to travel all the way to Scarborough to remove my nails so I opted for a place close by. I called in a day before to make an appointment & the guy over the phone told me to just walk-in the next day... I walked in and there was a line-up I had to wait at least half an hour, I didn't mind though I'm usually a patient person. Anyway I ended up getting Vu to do my nails which I was pretty content about since I heard great things about him from my old co-worker and the reviews from here. I GUESS - giving him the benefit of the doubt here - that it was really busy so he tried to finish as quick as he can... however that really isn't a good enough excuse for the condition my nails were in when I left - sloppy, uneven, horrible horrible! He kept telling me that my nails were weak after the removal and that he'll "try his best". After the removal, he literally used a nail clipper and clipped off the ends of my nails and filed a few of them for literally 2 seconds.... I kept thinking that he'll file them more properly and nicely after but then he went to paint my nails.. Pretty much upset at this point but I didn't want to say anything because it was super busy. And to top it all off throughout the entire process he kept boasting about how Vietnamese people are so much better than Chinese people at doing nails services after I told him that I usually go to Pacific Mall to get my nails done. Like really? I wasn't even going to tip him because of how horrible the experience was but I felt bad and ended up tipping him still. Right after I left I went to wal-mart and bought some nail polish remover and nail clippers and re-did them myself at my boyfriend's house and they turned out 100x better... which is sad considering he's the expert. Quite disappointed with everything about this experience. The service at this nail salon has declined immensely overt the last few months. I went there today and got a pedicure and a full set. I was not pleased with my toenails BUT my fingernails are HORRENDOUS!!! They are not shaped properly and 8/10 of them are crooked!! I am sooo mad!! I paid $132 ($120+taxes) for jacked up nails.. Horrible experience. While cutting my cuticles, the lady cut my skin and made it bleed twice. Once on my thumb, once on my pinky. I got shellac and had to cure it in the UV light and it was burning the cuts even though she put alcohol. I asked her if I get a discount because she cut me twice, she said no. I said "really ? You cut both fingers and they burn when I cure them in the light." She could not answer, her english was not too good, so she asked her manager who didn't answer immediately, started speaking in their language and laughing with the other employees and then asked me what was wrong. I got $5 at least, but not worth that experience. The shellac was chipped before I left the salon. I would never go back... my finger still stings a day later /: Other things that were weird: - I had to ask her to put alcohol on the bleeding cuts because she didn't think it was serious - tools fell on the floor of the salon and were not sterilized afterwards - left the salon w paint under my nails and shellac stuck to my skin - she gave me a hand massage and finished it off by pounding my hand with her fist read more

This is my third time giving this place a try & it's subpar at best. Made an appointment for two of us for pedicures and they took us in on time however left us sitting with our feet in the water for an hour! The pedicure was mediocre and the foot / leg message was terrible. The reality is, they could care less & just want to move onto the next person I won't be back read more

My technician, Charlie, was rude and slow. Also, none of the technicians here speak proper english so it's very difficult to get a customized service. They also don't tell you how long you have to wait which is another turn off. Also, if you ask for something they start talking in Korean to each other which is very annoying. This is by far the worst salon I've been to in my 23 years of doing my nails. I've been getting nail services since I was 15 yrs old. The nail tech I received was rude, combative and did not do what I asked. She did my nails extremely uneven and when I expressed my displeasure with it, she was flippant. I sat there for over 2hrs only to walk out unhappy. I also recieved a pedicure, which wasn't too bad except for the fact that the massage chair I was seated in DID NOT WORK. They charged me 130$ for a full set acrylic and a pedicure in a broken massage chair. Overall, I would discourage anyone from visiting this business. I definitely will not be going back. read more

I've never been treated so bad at a nail salon before. I stopped at this location today because one of my nails ripped. I didn't originally get them done here but I was in the area. First of all, a lady asked me what I wanted to do, and I told her that I wanted to take off the shellac currently on my nails, cut my nails a bit shorter, and paint them with regular colour. But then her and the male tech both turned to each other and laughed. Strange but fine. The male tech took me, and started twisting and grabbing my hands and fingers very aggressively. When he started doing my nails, I tried making conversation but he just kind of ignored me so I let it be. But when he asked me to wash my hands, I asked if I could use soap and he gave me some dismissive attitude. After that, he grabbed my wrists again, and when I asked what he'd do about the ripped nail he raised his voice at me and yelled "YEAH YEAH I KNOW I'M GOING TO GLUE IT." At this point, even the girl next to me looked over to see if everything was okay. But what put me over the edge was when I was drying my nails and he grabbed my wrists again to position my hands. He then went over to the next girl and started calling her "my dear" etc. and talking to her very gently. I didn't do anything to be spoken to and handled so roughly. This guy acted disgusted from beginning to end. Not sure if it's a race thing but that could be the case. Never going back here again. read more

Had my toes done once and nails done once and both times the final results were sub par. They are over priced for what they offer. My nail was sanded down so low it hurt and the pedicure was not neat. I probably would never go back ONLY if I had no other options. read more

When I tell you this was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon ever. I got shellac on my natural nails. The nails were filed extremely quickly and sloppily. The nail polish application was also way too quick, disgusting and uneven. Lets not forget about the fact that he got angry at me, when I didn't "relax" my finger. I have gone to nail salons before and NEVER have I ever felt so disrespected and unsatisfied. I can do a better job at home. After I told him I was unhappy with it, he looked at me and continued working on another customer. Completely unacceptable. Being busy is not an excuse. As a business, customer service as well as quality of service is important and neither of those things were anything close to good. Horrible service. Do not go here. They will charge you in any way possible. My friend got short nails and they charged her 10$ extra without telling her and the guy who was doing my nails was getting into it. And he was getting mad at me telling me to sit properly when I was sitting with my legs crossed. He stood up and refused to do my nails, I've been waiting for 15 minutes to get a fill. Another girl comes and fucks up my nails and I asked her to fix it and she refuses to do my nails when I asked her to fix it. So The manager ended up fixing my nails, he was really the only nice one. This time i went in with a clear exact of what i wanted and no way you trying to get more outta me. This girl tried but after realizing im not having it... the entire joke of service i got was complete with attitude and ignorance that was not a part of my package! Ask for Vu, he does the best job, he gives a hand and arm massage every time even when I'm just getting a fill. They have a ton of shellac colours to choose from. Went to get my shellac done today and I was nothing but disappointed. I wouldn't even give a star but you have to so lets just say if for the hand massage at the end the entire process. I know EXACTLY what I want and how it should be done. I came in and asked about 5 times how long the wait would be and never got an answer just asked what colour shellac I wanted. I was patient and chose my colour, after waiting some more I asked again how long the wait would be...the girls just took me to a table and said to give the lady a few minutes. She basically moved me to make it seem like the process was going faster - which it was NOT! The tech came, sat down and I told her exactly what I wanted and that 2 of my fingers needed to be just clear coats because I need to watch them heal as I have broken my acrylics off of them and really injured my nail. She went to paint my nails and turned the bottle upside to tell me "Oh...sorry it's all done." like okay? You're a nail salon, you don't have more? And I asked this. She walked away speaking her language to another lady and then came back and told me to wait so she could go "look" for some more - sorry been there, done that before. I told her just to do black as I was NOT happy! Then she told someone else to paint my nails and the process was under 15 mins. Shellac takes a building process and curing process.
