With my most recent visit I made an appointment online a couple days before. Despite this, I waited for about 20 minutes after I arrived at the shop and the last time I had made an appointment I also had to wait. While someone said hello when I came in, no one asked me if I had an appointment. There were also no books with regular polish options at the front (only gel designs) so it wasn't until I was eventually seated at the pedicure chair that I was given a book to look at when the nail tech asked what color I wanted. My pedicure felt rushed and ended up sloppy on one toe going into the cuticle and chipped in the corner of another before I even left the salon. Because I was switched to a different person for my manicure, the person who did my pedicure was already gone when I noticed as I took out the toe spacer before I left. As for my manicure, I was getting GelX and needed to soak off my previous set. When I was sitting down for the pedicure I asked the woman if I needed to start soaking them off. She went and talked to someone else but ultimately did not begin soaking them while I was getting the pedicure done. Unfortunately this meant once the manicure started the technician spent a lot of time utilizing her drill to try to speed up the removal of the previous set. This resulted in it getting hot and hurting my nail bed and I suspect she also drilled them where they are now thin due to how sensitive my natural nails were. She also nicked my cuticles with her drill so when she asked me to continue soaking my fingers it burned and I had to tell her I couldn't. She didn't apologize, just told me to only soak the other nails that weren't burning. As she was drilling off my set she did get a lot of nail powder on herself and then was using the brush on herself to brush off nail powder before brushing it off my hands. I was really hoping to like this shop, but unfortunately just really did not have the best experience.

I have religiously booked my nails and pedicure at the same time so both are simultaneously done for the past two years (PER BONDS RECOMMENDATION). I get a call after booking the appointment online (with the appointment requests for both services together) that they are charging $5.00 now for both services to be booked together. Absolutely insane. $5.00 for two services to be booked together. $75.00 for Gel X (plus $5.00 for designs). $60.00 for a BASIC gel pedicure ($5.00 extra for French tip). $5/$10 extra for callous remover. That totals $155.00 BEFORE TIP. I cancelled both appointments and booked elsewhere. Nail salon culture is absolutely insane.

I usually get the Royal Pedicure ($95 with gel) or the Detox Pedicure ($115 with gel) whenever I'm in the mood for a longer, more relaxing massage. A regular gel manicure is $50, and nail art typically starts around $5 per nail, depending on the design. Chrome and cat-eye effects are an additional $25. A little tip for anyone with a similar situation: I had the ingrown nails on both of my big toes removed by a podiatrist, so my natural nails are much narrower now. My nail technicians simply use Gel-X or acrylic to widen and reshape my big toenails, and the results look so natural that you'd never know it isn't my real nail shape. I also want to give a shout-out to the front desk staff. The receptionists are always warm and welcoming when you arrive, and they'll check in throughout your appointment to see if you'd like any refreshments. They offer complimentary mocktails, coffee, water, soda, juice, and even some alcoholic beverages. Whenever I need a last-minute appointment, I just give them a quick call, and they're usually able to fit me in. The owners are also incredibly kind and generous. They frequently host giveaways and special events to show appreciation for their customers, which makes the experience feel even more special. I always leave feeling relaxed and well taken care of. One thing that has always stood out to me is how genuinely caring the staff is. If I have an appointment that runs late into the evening, they make sure I get to my car safely before locking up for the night. Paid $55.00 plus $10.00 tip .I didn't want to complain to the manager coz I didn't want the lady to get in trouble. But I had to post something to make clients aware. I do recommend this place since it was clean and everybody was pleasant. No loud talking like other nail salons.

Karen has done manicures and pedicures for my aunt in a group home, a hospital, and now in her own home. She can truly accommodate to many people in many different situations. She is so gentle, caring, professional and genuine. Every single time we have her, her work is amazing and my aunt feels like a new person. Today she came to do another manicure/pedicure for her and I got a pedicure as well. I was so happy to finally get a pedicure with all cruelty-free and vegan polish. Karen takes her time and provides a wonderful experience. My feet feel so soft and the pedicure looks beautiful. My aunt and I are so happy! I can't remember the last time that I felt so compelled to write a review about a company, and its owner. On very short notice, Karen traveled 45 minutes to give our aunt a manicure and pedicure. The challenge was that she is bed-ridden in a hospice group home. Karen did a fabulous job in spite of the awkward situation and our aunt was thrilled with the results, as were we. It was such a refreshing comfortable sothing experience thr first service it was such a reformation for my feet they lookek 10 years younger, as well as the detoxification process improved my health. I called Nails Envie last minute 9pm at night. In 30 minutes Karen showed up to my resident and gave me a spa experience right in my living room. Even complete with spa music. She took her time and didn't rush and did a outstanding job. I mentioned how I've been getting calf cramps/charley horses this trimester and she took her time massaging my calves by hand and with a mini hypervolt. When I first arrived to this cute little salon, I was surprised that it was a small room with one employee, Pamela. She welcomed me in and invited me to sit down. Another lady was sitting in one of the chairs at the side of the room and she introduced us. I guess she had just had a service done and was hanging out...I'm still not completely sure but either way it was comfortable and not at all awkward, although I was still very confused at this point how this whole thing worked. I have only been to large nail salons where everyone is getting services done next to each other. Pamela asked me what kind of design I wanted on my nails and I shrugged, as I always do, and told her I had no idea. She showed me her Instagram (@studio108atlast) which had an entire gallery of nail designs that she had done on other clients. As I scrolled through and decided I still had no idea what I wanted, she smiled and got started on at least taking off the horrible acrylic gel mix I had that was piled up on my nails. She could tell I had been getting my nails done "unprofessionally" for a long time and she assured me she would get my nails healthy again while still keeping them beautiful. Yay! As she worked on my nails I couldn't help but notice and point out all of the thoughtful additions to the room. Fruit and sprig infused water, a coffee machine, a refrigerator packed with a variety of drinks and snacks, cookies in a glass case, chocolates, and even a birthday calendar with all of her clients birthdays. So cute. I love this place already and she hasn't even finished my nails! I was pretty exhausted the day I came in and just wanted to relax but somehow she managed to pull my life story out of me. I made a new friend! Something I really never get to do at former nail salons where the language barrier makes describing my nail needs / desires merely impossible, let alone any type of conversation. I'm used to sitting and diving into my phone. Proud to say I hardly looked at my phone while I was sitting in her chair, a huge accomplishment for me. My nails were super cute, totally outside of anything I could have imagined on my own. I got a pedicure done as well and was very impressed with her attention to the health of the nails and not just rushing through the job. Pamela is amazing and I will never go to another nail tech. Her salon is 20 minutes from my house, which is not amazing on the convenience factor but she provides quality on every level and so the drive is merely a necessity. :) Pamela at Studio 108 should be the standard for all nail salons, and I hope that many will model after her service and attention to detail. The owner refused to take credit card and only took Zelle.. wasn't told this ahead of my service, but ok, did Zelle. Now she owes me $75 and has not paid, despite various requests. I booked the appointment with ClassPass, so it was prepaid. But I did have an extra charge for the French tip I did on my nails, which was $5. I added it to what would have been her actual price, in order to tip properly. Once I did this, I got the total price, with the tip, and accidentally sent her that (instead, I should have subtracted the service total to get the tip, and add that to the $5 extra charge). So I meant to send her $15, but I accidently sent $90. Right after sending it I realized what I had done was incorrect. I explained to her and she understood, and told me she would reimburse the $75 via Zelle, but would have to do it later and rushed me out and told me her husband was waiting for her. In retrospect, I should have just had her send it back on the spot. And not allow her to rush me out. Very disappointing, very sleezy.
