I'm not the type to say anything but I asked for a basic French tip and the pink part was completely transparent, I could see the dirt under my nail. Probably one of the the best nail salons I've ever experienced, certainly the best one in town…read more From the moment the person taking the calls for appointments answers your phone, you know you are in for a well run facility. Of course due to COVID, walk ins aren't allowed. So naturally I called to get an appointment and lucky for me they had a slot opening within the hour. I rushed there and was greeted by this extremely gracious host who took my temperature and asked me to use the hand sanitizer. She requested me to wait 5-10 minutes and in the meantime checked in if I could use some coffee or water. Her energy alone was so welcoming. The salon is design with a minimalist sense yet feels very cozy. I was taken in the back room by one of the staff members who was dressed in a nice uniform. She too was very courteous. My appointment was for eyebrow waxing. She carefully listened to my needs and didn't seemed rushed at all. On the contrary when she started her work, she was slow paced to ensure that it was done right. And I have to say that her work was great. I am glad I gave this place a chance and I can't wait to make them my regular joint, and I look forward to getting my pedicures there.

I have tried many nails salons in this area but Lavo Lounge puts them all to shame! For a long time…read moreI was bouncing around from salon to salon. Some were great for a short while but after some time started falling short of my standards. That has not been the case here. I have been booking services at Lavo for around 5 months now and my nails have never looked better. For starters, they have an all-star receptionist. She is so kind and helpful and on top of her job! They are a very busy salon and yet I never have trouble booking an appointment. They are as accommodating as can be. Even when they miss my phone call, I instantly receive a call or text back. I have been serviced by several nail technicians and they are all so very talented. I never bother booking with a specific tech because I know that no matter who I see, they will do an amazing job I was recommended doing soft gel manicures and it has been the best decision ever made. My career is very physical so i would often have a lot of wear and tear on my nails but not with soft gel. The gel polish never chips and my nails have never been stronger. I am usually able to go 4 weeks with my nails still looking great but ready for a fill. I love this salon and as long as I live within a drivable distance I will never change. They are cash or zelle/venmo only. So be prepared. And in my opinion they are charging fairly for services considering the quality of the work. Thanks Lavo!

Both of them take their time and always stop to ask if you are comfortable and happy with the shape, color, etc. They place extra emphasis on prepping your nails before polish, which is one of the reasons I think my nails last so long. Please keep in mind that it is only the two of them working, so they may not be able to take you on short notice. I was recommended this place by quite a few of my friends who have gone here religiously. I was paired up with the father of the owner (I think), and he was great. He followed any requests (I had pinterest images) and other items I wanted. My nails came out exactly like the photos and I as very pleased. The only thing I may ask---do they usually incorporate a manicure into the full UV Gel set? I figured there would be some trimming of cuticles and such. However, with that being said I was very happy to watch the Friends playing on the TV and chatting with the other patrons. He was gentle and meticulous on doing my nails.
