FINALLY a reasonably priced salon that does it all. Quick and QUALITY work with a smile. I called to book an appointment last night and I'm so glad I did. The salon has tons of staff so they take walk ins as well. A gel manicure was $30!!! And a gel pedicure started at $35 - I added upgrades so it cost me a bit more but it was still incredibly reasonable at $45. I gave up acrylic nails and I'm trying to grow my natural nails with gel and I'm so glad I found this salon. They also have TONS of colors and tons of services. Gel, acrylic, dip and more. Went to shadow nails today for the first time. It came highly recommended by girls at my hair salon. I have been driving all the way to Cranford and it was annoying and the place was overpriced. However I couldn't find a place in my home town I thought had the talent without robbing your pockets. Today I went for a pedicure and fill. When I called for an appointment I didn't ask for anyone by name. I was told everyone there is good. I was fortunate enough to get Camilla. She is fantastic. She pays attention to details and she's very creative and artistic. The place is immaculately clean and as a nurse that is important to me. The pedicure chairs are pretty awesome as well. Worst salon!!! Don't recommend!!! Got pressured to do a regular gel manicure with one layer of UV gel under because it "lasted longer", instead of a regular acrylic set. They chipped the same day. Went back to get them taken off and get acrylics, which is the same price. They refused to give me acrylics because it wasn't the same service as my first set. It was the same price but they did not want to do acrylics. They still tried to pressure me into just doing gel, I refused to let them and took my money back. My nails are now very thin after all the filing and not only that but they wasted 2 of my free days, as I am unable to get my nails done for a while due to not having any time to. My family and I are frequent customers, after this experience we will not be returning. They also caused unnecessary commotion in front of so many other customers. read more

This place sucks, the Hispanic girl did my nails so bad 2 days after getting them done the gel polish was chipped on a few nails. The acrylic on my nails were chipped as well bcuz she only refills by the cuticles than files the shit outta the nails so they are paper think. Some nails were longer than others when I went back to get them fixed they tried to have her fix them I demanded she didn't! So the owner fixed them but than a few days later the nails he didn't fix started chipping and breaking. They also force you to get gel polish. When I went in they told me pick a color so I did right before polishing when I went to wash my hands the lady threw down gel swatches and took away the color I picked I told her I didn't want gel bc there gel sucks and always chips the owner gave me a dirty look and said that's only with regular polish I said noooo it's your gel. I said forget it I'll just pay for the fill in no polish and left why pay for polish that will just chip the next day. read more

I'm NOT a fan of the shape. These look like box car nails and so archaic. I didn't have the time to force the nail tech (the older guy) to fix it. Its disgusting that this is considered done. It's a lazy job and I'm going back to get it fixed the way it should be done. I'm going to post an update. It seems as though he slapped everything on and did the bare minimum with my nails. No real effort was put into him taking the time to file it down as it's bulky. I already have a long nail bed so to have a super boxed nail is ridiculous. Let's also add that I filed down the corner of my nails. They looked like crap when I walked out. I still can't stop staring at how ugly they look close up. The pedicure is worth it. The station gets lined and it's very sanitary. There are no complaints there. If I can't get my nails fixed I am not going to spend another dollar on this place and go back to Yoyo Nails in East Brunswick. They are WORTH every penny I've ever spent. Very clean nail salon.. for pedicure they use a disposable liner so you know you're not sharing toe jam germs... the chairs are so nice and the girls doing my sister and my pedicure were very sweet and thorough. Multiple massages that I coulda used as one long one but still very nice. Gave us usable flip flops since we were both in boots. And 22$ for a pedicure really can't beat that. read more

Not a fan. On the positive side they were very quick. I was able to get in and out during my lunch break. Now for the critiques: -They are overpriced. You can go elsewhere and save some money. -I had to ask over and over the prices. I like to agree prior to starting so there are no disagreements. Nail designs are $5 for 2, which is different from most places who do $5 per nail -The guy that did my nails was sloppy. i had to ask for a recoat and even the shaping and filing is not clean -I also asked for airbrushed design but then they said I had to do the finger design, but it was the same price. So I didn't get it. I won't be going back to this place. Sure, it's convenient, but I can save money and enjoy my nails somewhere else. read more
