I had to get my nails done last minute, so I decided to come to their location due to the convenience. I wish I hadn't. I had Mimi, and I asked for a simple square nude acrylic set. The nails came out extremely thin, bendy, and cheap-looking, so I politely asked if she could make them thicker. Instead of simply fixing them, she disagreed with me, started talking to other employees in another language, and acted annoyed that I asked for a correction. Another tech even came over laughing and looking at my nails, which made the whole experience extremely uncomfortable. The final result was just as disappointing. My nails had filing scratches that weren't buffed out, crust left around my cuticles and underneath my nails, and way too much cuticle oil all over my fingers and palms. I looked at her disgusted in how oily my hands were and confused because I've never had an experience like this before. With an attitude I was told to just go wash my hands. I left feeling uncomfortable, disappointed, and honestly embarrassed about my nails. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you care about the quality of your nails and want to feel respected during your appointment, PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I definitely won't be returning.

I realized I wanted a pedicure as well. So I went on to book a second appointment for the same time as the Gel X, as I always have. I hate sitting at the salon for 2 hours. I have religiously booked my nails and pedicure at the same time so both are simultaneously done for the past two years (PER BONDS RECOMMENDATION). I get a call after booking the appointment online (with the appointment requests for both services together) that they are charging $5.00 now for both services to be booked together. Absolutely insane. $5.00 for two services to be booked together. $75.00 for Gel X (plus $5.00 for designs). $60.00 for a BASIC gel pedicure ($5.00 extra for French tip). $5/$10 extra for callous remover. That totals $155.00 BEFORE TIP. I cancelled both appointments and booked elsewhere. Nail salon culture is absolutely insane.

No judgment at all, just great energy and professionalism from the start. She did an amazing job. My nails look super clean, and my hands and feet feel unbelievably soft. Before coming in, my feet were actually hurting from how dry they were, and now walking around feels like I upgraded to a luxury version of feet--seriously, it's a night-and-day difference. Also, the chairs deserve a shoutout--they give a surprisingly good massage. Between that and how far they recline, I was about five minutes away from falling asleep. Super relaxing experience overall. My girlfriend came with me and had a great experience as well. She loved both her manicure and pedicure, and everything felt relaxing and well taken care of. I've gone here twice when my normal nail lady is out of town since this salon is so close to my…read morehouse. Unfortunately both times haven't been the best. With my most recent visit I made an appointment online a couple days before. Despite this, I waited for about 20 minutes after I arrived at the shop and the last time I had made an appointment I also had to wait. While someone said hello when I came in, no one asked me if I had an appointment. There were also no books with regular polish options at the front (only gel designs) so it wasn't until I was eventually seated at the pedicure chair that I was given a book to look at when the nail tech asked what color I wanted. My pedicure felt rushed and ended up sloppy on one toe going into the cuticle and chipped in the corner of another before I even left the salon. Because I was switched to a different person for my manicure, the person who did my pedicure was already gone when I noticed as I took out the toe spacer before I left. As for my manicure, I was getting GelX and needed to soak off my previous set. When I was sitting down for the pedicure I asked the woman if I needed to start soaking them off. She went and talked to someone else but ultimately did not begin soaking them while I was getting the pedicure done. Unfortunately this meant once the manicure started the technician spent a lot of time utilizing her drill to try to speed up the removal of the previous set. This resulted in it getting hot and hurting my nail bed and I suspect she also drilled them where they are now thin due to how sensitive my natural nails were. She also nicked my cuticles with her drill so when she asked me to continue soaking my fingers it burned and I had to tell her I couldn't. She didn't apologize, just told me to only soak the other nails that weren't burning. As she was drilling off my set she did get a lot of nail powder on herself and then was using the brush on herself to brush off nail powder before brushing it off my hands. I was really hoping to like this shop, but unfortunately just really did not have the best experience.
