This is by far among the best Mani/Pedi experiences I've ever had. Nails by Noemi is located inside the Mariposa Salon which is tucked away behind Cristicitos (yummy pizza and salads) and a pet salon that is attached to an apartment complex in Carmel Valley. The is available street parking or 2 hr retail parking spaces. There is an elevator or stairs to get to the second level, so it is accessible. The salon is clean and bright. There are three hair stations, one nail station and two pedicure bath chairs, in addition to some retail. There is a friendly upbeat vibe in the salon and it is quite busy for being such a small space. Noemi is amazing. She is friendly, professional, warm, knowledgeable, and uses active listening skills to ensure that each client gets exactly what they are requesting. She made me feel so welcome and pampered. We began with a conversation about my nail so she could learn and troubleshoot and I was offered hot tea and a warm neck wrap that was heavenly. The pedicure was beyond thorough and my feet are baby smooth due to her attention and the cutting edge urea products she uses. Not only will I be back, I purchased a gift certificate for my daughter's teacher as a class gift for her upcoming birthday and will recommend Noemi to my mom as well. Noemi is the absolute BEST at what she does. She's an expert on all the products that she uses and the care she gives to your nails is unmatched. My Dazzle Dry manicures always lasted at least 10 days with Noemi, but normally 2+ weeks, which never happens for me. She also makes you feel so relaxed and well taken dare of. I have been going to Noemi for almost a year for pedicures. She is very pleasant, responsive, and tries hard to pamper her customers! I don't think you'll find anyone better around here for pedicures, especially for aging feet and toenails like mine! The venue is low key and pleasant. It's in a location by an apartment complex and parking is on the left side of the apartment complex parking garage entrance on Calle Mar de Mariposa. Then you go up a set of stairs and walk past the pizza place, around the corner to the salon. This is your typical I never leave reviews but... First about me--Okay. So we all have that insecurity that makes us feel so uncomfortable even around professionals. Well I have a couple of toenails that have just been ignored by other salons. I let Noemi know about my issue and Noemi was so professional and courteous. Not only do my toes look amazing, I feel so much better! Second--The salon is amazing, relaxing and very professional! The pedicure chair alone is so worth it! The chair is upright but yet you feel totally relaxed and like you're floating in the air. The music was just right and there is just enough conversation to keep things interesting. Third--parking is somewhat wonky. The salon is located kind of adjacent to an apartment building with very limited parking from what I saw. There could have been more parking hidden and I just missed them! Overall, I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for and you cannot go wrong with Noemi!
