I had been here once before and I thought it was great, but I recently visited again and wasn't as happy with the service. Granted, I came in at a busy time and I think they were understaffed.... but the lady who was doing me seemed distracted and kept getting up from doing mine to attend to something else. The whole process took much longer than it should have and after it was all said and done, while my pedi and mani looked good. My no chip came off only 5 days later. Usually my no chip lasts minimum two weeks so I was disappointed about that. Also, the menu said that my pedicure included a 6 min foot massage and I literally watch the clock and she did both my feet for maybe 3 min total. I would maybe give them another shot next time, but as for this experience-I've had much better. read more

After overhearing two women raving about the nail salon they used, I had to ask them what salon they loved so much. "Nails by David" they both happily replied. Now after five months of regular visits, I would suggest this salon to anyone. David is an artist and a professional who does beautiful work. I have been a regular customer for many years. I would not go anywhere else in Naples. David's gel nails are near perfect and the best I've had from anyone. I also get regular pedicures from Tiffany and others at the salon. Tiffany knows how to treat nails when you have a problem. I had a nail removed surgically and through the entire year, she gave my pedicure without polish and ensured the nail grew in perfectly. She knows what she's doing. The salon is new, fresh, clean and large. I also enjoy the group because they can be light and laugh a lot. They are very nice people. read more

I had to write this review after having my liquid gel nails filled in at another salon. David originally applied my liquid gel nails and they looked beautiful! I stopped wearing acrylic nails about 5 years ago. I couldn't believe how natural the liquid gel nails feel. I returned to him about three weeks later and again my nails looked beautiful & he did it in less than 45 minutes. Unfortunately, we have traveled further north in Florida and I just had a fill in at a salon that got great 5 star reviews on Yelp. All I can say is that people must be easily pleased and have never had their nails done by David!!! When I return to Naples, I will definitely be returning to Nails by David. read more

I am not from this area and I went to this nail salon without a referral. When I opened the door, the smell of recycled stuffy air combined with acetone and nasty bathroom air came over me. The salon had only 3 technicians. A young lady helped me and took me to a table where she started to take my gel off. She used a metal acrylic bur and held my fingers under the light. There was powder going everywhere in our faces because of no suction to get the debris from going into the air. It made me very uncomfortable. I asked her why there was no suction on her desk and she said it was because she was left handed and she was restricted to that desk. They could still have a fan! I could feel the difference in my chest from breathing that toxic powder. She was trying hard but I could not wait to get out of there. The nasty bathroom smell never went away. I just asked for a manicure at that point thinking I would get out sooner. I think all of these technicians had their heart in the right place but I will not go there again. I felt like it was not clean and they need to get air quality tested and get the proper ventilation for both technician and customer.. read more
