Beautiful salon, no question there. Really annoyed with my last experience. The person doing my pedicure could not stop texting. I asked her if everything was ok, she said yes, continuing to text. Kept checking her phone over the course of the pedicure and then stopped the pedicure to text a book to someone. It was painfully awkward, but I was just sitting and watching her text so finally i asked if she wanted to take a break to go make the call and she said no. After that I think she finally realized how rude it was. I've been here many times, the staff is very friendly and good at what they do. But with so many other nail salons in the area, I probably will not be coming back here. read more

My favorite nail salon I have ever been to. I moved and still drive 45 minutes to come get my nails done here whenever I can. Jen and her employees make sure every experience is enjoyable. The prices are better than most places I've been and the service provided is always better than I could hope for. I have been twice since all of the COVID changes and felt so relaxed and safe. I have been going to Nails & Spa since moving to Braintree in 2008. I enjoyed great service up until recent months. The woman I went to for my nails left and I gave not been happy with my recent visits. Most notably, my friend and I went yesterday and both had bad experiences. My friends nails were still tacky two hours after we finished our mani / pedis and 2 nails were ruined by the end of the afternoon. My technician was quite rough -she cut the cuticle on my thumb to the point of bleeding. Despite two attempts to stop the bleeding at the salon, I am still having issues with it tonight, more than a day after my appointment. My technician was also rough when painting my toes - twice I had to tell her the pedicure was painful. After three recent visits, I plan now to find a new place to go for nails. read more

I recently visited Nails & Spa for the first time. I called ahead and made an appointment and was able to get in for a gel manicure the same day, only a few hours before I arrived. When I arrived, I immediately noticed the welcoming and clean atmosphere - there was seating for waiting guests, lovely, individual tables for each nail technician, and an entire hall with individual spa machines for pedicures. Ivy did my gel manicure and she did a fantastic job - she took her time and was very thorough. The folks running the front counter were so kind and engaging, as was the entire staff. You could very much tell this place love their regulars and sustains them. I will go back to Nails & Spa at every point possible for all manicure and pedicure needs. I have been searching for a nail place that is clean, friendly, professional, and pay attention to detail. I was turned on to Nails & Spa by my neighbor, who has beautifully manicured nails. I went this afternoon and was immediately impressed by the class decor and friendly employees. They had an organized system and wait time was minimal. I had a mani/pedi, and Karen was really great and made sure that my nails were PERFECT. Great experience. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it was a bit pricey at $15 for mani and $30 for a pedi -- but WELL worth it for quality and service. Nails & Spa is hands-down the BEST nail salon in Braintree. And believe you me, I've been to them all. I have acrylic nails and if you've had them before, you know the pain and agony of going somewhere where a) the tools are dirty, b) they cut your fingers with that spinning grinder thing, and c) you leave the salon and immediately notice about 1 million bubbles within the acrylic. This just does NOT happen at Nails & Spa. It is the cleanest nail salon I have been to, short of a full-on spa. They use a very high-quality acrylic powder there that is smooth and fine and does not require them to buff your nails for 10 minutes. They do fantastic pedicures and regular manicures as well, and I've never had waxing, facials or massage there but I have heard great things. It is very soothing in Nails & Spa. It is so clean and they are always playing spa-like music. Not to mention, everyone that works there is unbelievably nice! If you want to go, plan ahead: they are usually fairly busy and it's better to have an appointment. Also, the parking on Washington St. can be a little tricky, but that may just be due to the fact that I cannot parallel park to save my life. read more

I have had nothing but excellent nail services as well as excellent customer service from their amazing staff. The owner, Jen, is a sweetheart and keeps the place spotless and updated. Recently, I needed an appointment and they were booked (because they are the best) so I had to find somewhere else to go that day. My gel manicure (from the second-choice salon) chipped within 24 hours so, naturally, I found myself at Nails & Spa the next day to get it fixed! I have been going to Nails & Spa for years. Jen (the owner) is a sweetheart and greets everyone by name. The salon has a great ambiance and Jen and her staff make sure all clients are comfortable and happy with their service. I usually go in about every 6 weeks to see Vivian for a mani and pedi and sometimes in between for an occasional mani. I've been to other nail places in the past and have gotten fungal infections on my toe nails but I don't need to worry about that at Nails & Spa. Not only is it the cleanest nail place I've ever been to, they have semi private massaging pedicure chairs that are just heaven! They have a great selection of colors including CND Shellac, OPI Gel and CND Vinylux (my favorite!) in addition to the regular OPI and Essie polishes. They do have some additional gel products but I can't recall the brands. And the staff is wonderful if you need help finding or picking out a color. Parking can be a little tough but there is a municipal lot across the street where I usually park. The salon does get very busy but I've never had any issues with long waits. I recommend calling for an appointment. They take walk ins but the few times I've tried, I've been asked to come back at a later time as all of techs had clients. Not a big deal....to me that just shows what a great nail place it is. When gel polishes first became popular, I got a Shellac manicure and while it looked beautiful, the bright red color was very sheer and you could see the tips of my nails through the color. I called Jen and she not only had me come back in to get them redone with a regular OPI polish, she refunded me the $10 price difference between a regular manicure and a gel manicure. Now that's great service and one of the many reasons I will continue to be a customer! read more

I have been here several times with my mom for our special mother/daughter bonding days. I have only gotten pedicures so I can't speak to the manicures. Each pedicure I have gotten has been wonderful. The color lasts for several weeks. As for the cleanliness of the salon it is top notch--you can tell that the owner and employees take care of the nail tools and facilities. Nail and Spa is my favorite location to get my nails done. Don't let the outside fool you, it's a beautiful salon inside. I like that it's more focused on nails but there are other treatments available. I've never been disappointed getting my nails done here and have been coming for years. I usually book an appointment before. When I call in early in the morning to make an appointment for the same day, they usually can find time. I went with 2 other people tonight and it was beyond packed. We all called ahead in the afternoon and they told us they could take us, but it ended up being such a long ordeal, almost 2 full hours each between waiting and gel manicures. I wish they wouldnt overbook the appointments and make us wait over an hour to be seen. One thing I want to caution is price for pedicures. I asked for the basic pedicure and employee took over an hour to do a pedicure before paint was even on. Apparently because she made it longer it was $10 more and I should have asked for an express pedicure. I was told express are 30 min if someone was on their lunch break, and the deluxe, which I was given was their "standard". It was my first time and didn't realize there were multiple pedicure teirs, and was charged more. Today I decided to give this nail salon a try as it is within walking distance to my house, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I walked in a was greeted with a smile and hello. I was taken right away for my pedicure which was fabulous, clean, and thorough. My service provider Lindy was very nice and did such a nice job, her massage was amazing I almost passed out! When I got home I tripped and ruined one of my toes... I called back and Jen told me to come right back in! She made me feel very comfortable coming back in for my own mistake! I go this nail salon alot. I called the other day to make a last minute appointment because my sister and niece were in town. I didn't have the number and dialed 411. They gave me the number to another salon in Braintree that is called Braintree Nails and Spa. I made an appt thinking I was going to my usual salon but it was with the other place. We arrived (3 of us) for pedicures and of course there was some confusion. The ladies told us what was happening and that 3 other people had the same problem. They asked if we minded waiting a half hour. We didn't mind waiting. They did a great job as usual. I recommend this salon to anyone. read more

I have been serviced many times at Nail and Spa and noticed on various occasions how a certain ethnic group is treated better than another. After (having a scheduled appointment) my guests and I arrival, I/we were approached by Jen by her saying (in a nasty manner), "What are THEY doing here"? I was shocked as to WHY I need to justify WHY my guest were with me, but I responded "They are my guest". "Is that ok"? The way she reacted was inappropriate. At that point, my guests did not feel welcomed and chose to wait for me elsewhere. Not acceptable! This was their first and last time that my guests will ever step foot there again. I should have left with them...however, this was my last appt EVER with this company. No one of any ethnicity should ever feel "less than" and be somewhere, where our hard earned money is not welcomed. read more

This was my first time trying this new salon, as I had been hearing nothing but good reviews. My sister and I booked an appointment and they told us to pick a color and seated us each at a table to wait. I sat and waited for someone to start my nails for over half an hour, which basically threw the whole point of booking an appointment out the window. Other people who came in after me were being seated and attended to quickly and I was still waiting for someone to even acknowledge that I was sitting there all that time. When someone finally came over, I asked for a full set and asked for a similar design to french tips. The lady told me that for some reason she couldn't paint my nails with regular polish and could only use dip. She did not let me use regular polish which caused me to pay more for the dip powder that I didn't even want. The overall experience was just not enjoyable and I probably would not end up coming back here. Not to mention a friend of mine got a pedicure done here, and they were so rough that they made them bleed to the point where they had to hold a tissue on it to stop the bleeding. read more

Nails & Spa in Braintree is definately the nicest nail salon I have been too yet. This nail salon isn't your typical acetone reeking, mirrored wall, bamboo tree, hand holding a rose picture type of nail salon. This place is high class. I imagine this is what nail salons in Beverly Hills look like. Getting pedicures here is one awesome expierence. You can even bring in your own wine to drink . They did spray tans for a minute too but I think they have gotten rid of that. Parking can sometimes be an issue on Washington St. and they are a little expensive but it's so worth it! read more

I came here yesterday for a pedicure and it was the best one I have ever had, hands down (pun intended). I saw a lovely lady named Spring who was new to me. Very clean and friendly environment. Jen the owner is super nice and friendly she makes you feel at home. They offer free water or soda while you wait and get your nails done. It is hard to get service as a walk in but I have never waited more than 5min if that to get serviced when I do have an appointment. The prices are a little bit higher than your average corner nail place, however it is totally worth it. The girls take their time, they do not rush. They are always willing to redo anything you are not happy with and do not mind when you ask them to retouch anything. I loved how I did not feel like they were talking about me in their language as they are very professional and courteous. On the downside... Street parking. read more

Love this place!! Super friendly staff - always ask if I want a water right I come in. Clean and pretty salon inside as well. You usually need to make an appointment, it's typically a long wait for walk-ins. They really take their time, which is nice to see; most recently, I had an appointment for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and I was there for almost an hour and 45 minutes! They took me right away too...they are perfectionists which I like because too often I see rushed jobs at nail salons. My gel manicure lasts for 3 full weeks every time, and I don't see any chipping at all for at least a full week and a half...wouldn't go anywhere else after coming here. Reasonably priced as well. I love this place. Clean, relaxing, has an upscale feel. I have my nails done by whoever is available and they are all excellent. They use good quality organic gel and between that and their attention to detail I always get a mani or pedi that lasts. My mother, whose feet are a mess, sees Lynn and she has a gentle touch and lots of patience. WOW! I've been to 6-7 nail salons in the past 5 yrs or so, and this one's a winner. After reading some Yelp reviews, decided to give it a try as a walk-in on a recent Wed night. Pedi area is private and relaxing, and experience was great on so many levels - great trim with no flinching, not even once (have 2 ingrowns), great massage and no awkwardness with salon technician. Now the mani - my own nails are tragic - I'm a lifelong, subconcious nail biter - and have had acrylics on for years, but took the last year off hoping I could get some growth on my own - no such luck. So I resigned myself to just getting regular cuticle trims and protein on my nails, as they are just too short to put anything over. But Timmy told me could give me a set of acrylics, so I went for it. So glad I did! It's now been 1.5 wks, no pop-offs on my short nails, and french is still perfect (gel locked it in). Also, I didn't plan to get this set, and I was a walk-in at 6pm - the owner and my nail tech (Timmy) couldn't have been more gracious even though they wound up staying about an hour after closing time. I will definitely be back, again and again. But from now on, I'll make an appt. - I think I just hit it lucky that night as a walk-in. You won't regret trying this salon. Also, the place is well decorated and spotlessly clean! Parking can be tricky here, but I used the CVS lot across the street, would also use McDonalds lot adjacent to the salon, and learned there's a large city lot just steps away. read more

I just got a manicure from here a week ago and the manicurist cut me while cutting my cuticle. My finger started hurting the next day but i ignored it thinking nothing of it. This morning I woke up and my entire finger was swollen, I had puss coming out of my finger and I was in pain. I went to a walk in clinic in Braintree and it turns out I have an infection.
