Maybe I am spoiled because I came from a place in central Nj that was so awesome and the owner/lead nail tech was talented and really polite but the Lead tech here to me is really rude and it seems like if your not a favorite client or a client that is a preferred race , you are treated as if you don't matter and that you should be grateful he is doing your nails . I am not a person that wastes time getting political when it comes to my money and where I spend it , so i am looking for another salon . It sucks because the other staff members are nice and they do great pedicures but I am tired of supporting this moron (Name starts with an L). The service was not well. The technicians are rude. They charge you extra if you pay with debit or credit card because they prefer to be paid in cash. So you get penalized if you don't have cash on hand. I was unaware that to remove gel polish there is a fee but whatever I didn't make an issue about it because I just wanted my nails done. The man who soaked my nails was so rude to me!! Then another young girl came and did my nails. She was also very rude and in the end I did not like my service. My nails were uneven, not smooth and there was left over gel polish on my nails. As I'm getting ready to leave the place, this lady approaches me and says where's the tip for the girl. I began to go on about how I did not like my service and felt disrespected. The lady kept going on and on. Then, this lady which i've done my nails with many times began to say things. She said that I always have issues with the workers and stated that the last time I got my nails done with her "I tipped her $1". I began to go on about how that is completely false, I never have tipped her a dollar and she then proceeded and called me a liar. Regardless if I tipped a dollar or not, maybe $1 is all that I had in my wallet and at least I LEFT A TIP! And to ask for a tip in the first place is so unprofessional. If I didn't enjoy my service I'm allowed not to tip. In the end, save your money and go somewhere else!! Yes, they do a good job majority of the times but they lack good customer service and try to make you seem less than them. Have been going here for a couple months now, will only get SNS done and they do an amazing job with It. Today I got an SNS base with a Chrome Powder as the top coat and it is absolutely gorgeous. They did such an amazing job this is by far my favorite style I've got done there. I moved to Hackensack a few months ago and have been trying to find a new nail salon close to my new home. Well, thanks to this salon my search is over. This nail salon is absolutely phenomenal. The staff is super friendly and professional. As a nurse, I like to treat myself to a good pedicure since I am on my feet a lot-- this salon gives an AMAZING pedicure. Manicures are also therapeutic to me to get as a treat every week or so -- the new craze lately is the powder gel manicure that doesn't use a LED/UV ray light and has zero dry time--- again, this salon does a spectacular job and is very experienced with this new gel manicure craze. I absolutely love this place. They also do eyelash extensions which will be my next purchase because I saw the finished product and they looked absolutely beautiful. I had a gel pedicure. Had to wait 30 mins. The pedicure was odd. The girl plucked my cuticles and cut my toe nails and re painted them before she even put them in water. After she put them in the water it was like 5 seconds. My feet felt exactly the same as when I got there. It was a $40 pedicure that was NOT worth the price. Will not return. read more

This nail salon is clean, relaxing and for the most part gives good service. A few important things to note and the reason I stopped going, their prices are too high, especially for fill-ins, there are other nail salons charging $10 less which is a lot. Also, they don't have a huge selection of gel colors and enhancements. There are many times I'm looking for a specific gel color and they don't have a selection. Last, they don't have you wash your hands after filing, which I should have asked for it. They only wipe your hands down with a wet towel, which I don't think does a good job. I wish their prices were better because it's a convenient place with parking and good hours. I could live without the selection of colors, but the price Is just too much. read more

This place opened up with a bang. I would have previously agreed with many of the positive reviews here for gel manicures. Then last month I got my nails done by someone who sneezed literally throughout the whole appointment. She blew her nose then continued working on my hands despite me asking her to wash (or at least sanitize) her hands. Thinking this was a one-off, I returned two weeks later for another gel manicure. That day, a dog owned by someone at the salon was running around. The dog bit a little girl in the leg and the manager shrugged it off without so much as an apology to the mother of the girl. Very attentive workers. What's great about them is they did not rush their work on you. They took their time for perfection and gave a massage at the end. I only wanted a mani and underarm wax. I paid cash but the 10% discount is only for nails. Wish I had known that previously not when paying. Another big note. When they file my nails they did not use the spinning drill which I hate instead a nail Filer and did the work. The spinning drill should never be used on your actual nail and many nail salons use that to cut down on time. This is the reason I gave them a five star! read more

if i could give this a 0 star i would!! they are liars and rip offs. at the beginning to the appointment i asked how much my mani and pedicure would be (i was very specific). since i was getting a spa package the gentleman told me it would be the same price of my package ($50) so i proceeded. at the end of my appointment, i ended up paying $110!!! in addition, the guy that did my manicure didn't know what the hell he was doing! he kept filing my nail and filed the skin instead then had the effin' audacity to put acetone on it!!! i also elaborated that i was getting my nails done for a photoshoot...my colors are purple and gold...he kept doing my nails with purple and white! i'm absolutely pissed off...will never go here again...ever! stay away from this place...go somewhere else where they know how to speak proper english, communicate properly, and display some integrity! if you do decide to go here, make sure they are clear on the prices and have them repeat what services are included in the price! make sure they pair you with someone experienced instead of someone who will file your skin off then put acetone! read more

First time appt with Louis for a uv gel fill-in. He is very nice! Made an appt 2 weeks in advance to ensure I got the day and time I wanted. Showed up 15 min early and was told he was "off" and someone else could do my nails. No thanks! I was annoyed and agreed to reschedule for the following day but was prepared to walk out if they pulled another stunt like that. This place is busy! I felt Louis was rushing bc it was so busy but I will give him another try in a few weeks. Everytime i try giving this place a chance, and everytime it fails! First of all, they're thieves. Everytime I come I get the same thing done and everytime it's a different price. Strange! For example, my sister got acrylic nails and paid around $45. I went the next day and got the SAME EXACT THING and was charged $65????? Then I called them thinking maybe the prices changed, but no. I was told $45 over the phone. These people are THIEVES. Not only was I scammed, but my nails look thick and mediocre. If you're going to get acrylics done there are much better places in hackensack that do a great job. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND GET SCAMMED. Also, noble nails i hope you're reading this. This was my first time here. The place is nice and clean which makes up for the higher price of a regular mani/pedi. Karla did both my feet and hands. She was amazing, super professional and delicate. My nails looked perfect and exactly how I asked her; highly recommend her. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because when i picked my color i picked from a set of nail polishes that are not your regular essie or opi. To use this special nailpolish they charge $2 extra for the mani and $2 for the pedi. I thought it was just $2 all together, which i already thought was ridiculous, but $4 extra for nail polish? I was really disappointed in this place. I thought it would have been great because of the reviews. My friend and I walked in and they were not friendly at all. All I got was a gel manicure and they came out extremely bubbly. I waited at the cash register to pay and after telling people repeatedly I needed to pay, no one came to help me. If I could give zero stars I would. The woman who did my nails kept messing up she used the white powder for my acrylics instead of the pink. Then she continued to hurt me and dig her nails into mine. My friend got regular gel manicure, and it's all bubbly and ugly. I feel so robbed they charged me 45 dollars for a fill in when I normally pay 15 dollars. The lady then continued to tell me I will get 10% off if I payed in cash but I didn't have cash and she didn't tell me until after my nails were done.
