DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!! Pedicure tech was definitely not certified. I was clear when I said I had fungus on my nail from a previous pedicure. And asked if they know how to work with infected nails. She said yes take a seat. The tech proceeds to file and cut all nails with the same tools mixing the infected one with the healthy ones I told her to not do that I cut the service short did not get full service but paid $36. I also wanted a full set but when I sat down the lady is rude with an attitude and was moving my hand all aggravated while sitting through my pedicure they have kids all in the salon playing and then she started arguing with her husband and took it out on me. Wanted a simple sparkly blue gel. The guy seemed to forget to add on the sparkle but I still gave benefit of the doubt to settle with just blue! I went to get my eyebrows done here. I demonstrated the woman a picture of how I wanted it done. I was a little hesitant after seeing her eyebrows. In the end result I am not coming back because my eyebrows were uneven and I am very unhappy with the way my eyebrows came out. I paid $10 and the woman that did them said they were fine. They are uneven and shapeless. I pointed out that they were uneven but my comment was ignored. I will have to wait about a month to get ny eyebrows to get reshaped. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is horrible, my acrylics are sideways and different shapes, the polish is on my skin and not on my whole nail, and I am BLEEDING. Be prepared to spend a loooooong time here and wait a good minute in between services. I came on Friday and left after my pedicure. It was over an hour wait. My feet soaked, she rubbed lotion on my legs then painted the wrong color. I didn't have time to wait any longer so I came as soon as they opened on Sunday. Pedicure was much better and I really do enjoy how my nails look. It just takes so long. Multiple left without getting all of their requested services complete. I was hesitant to go to this nail salon, because of the 2-star rating. However, it's near my home, so why not? I can't speak to how well they do nails, but my spa pedicure was just fine. There was great attention to detail, the lady took her time, and the polish job is excellent. A couple of areas for improvement: They don't seem to utilize very many employees or they at least have a separation of duties. I went at 2pm on a Wednesday, so there were very few customers. It still took them about 15-20 minutes to start on me even though 2 employees were free, but I got to soak my feet while waiting. The wine glasses are very small, and I was not offered more. Lastly, I bought the spa pedicure, which was great. However, there was significantly less massage time than most other salons. Overall, I was pleased, but it could be better. read more

I booked an appointment for my friend and I (at 12:15 keep in mind), and we sat and waited for almost an hour before getting seen for our appointment. We got to choose our nail techs on the website but we got completely different people than what we picked. My friend ended up going first although we scheduled the same time(she went at 12:45 and I went at 1:00) The lady who did my nails rushed so my friend and I got done at the same time... She asked me if I liked the shape and I asked her to fix one nail, she gave me attitude and proceeded to speak about me in a different language. Just because you speak a different language, doesn't mean others don't understand what you're saying! I often go here because of the distance it is to where I live and the people I normally go to was packed. After my first visit my gel came off in a week so easily. I get gel because of how long it last. Yea this didn't last a week. Then I went the next time and got a full set and I showed them a picture of what I wanted and the lady did a horrible job and now I just went to them and a worker caught an attitude with me because I didn't want to get a pedicure. I came to Nail 88 because the salon I normally go to was full and I couldn't wait due to running errands all day and someone had mentioned it to me. They were slow, expensive and not as sanitary for my taste. I would not come back or recommend to any of my friends. Try T Nail Spa on Fort Campbell blvd. they use a new pack of utensils on every customer so your feet are not being scraped with the same scrubber everybody else's feet have been scrubbed with. I came in for a mani pedi and just left with a pedi and ended up just going back to My other place for the manicure. Especially cause I wanted a gel mani which they charge $30 for here vs my other place. Good luck ;) read more

Disappointed in my pedicure. The tech seemed to rush through it even though there was no one else there. Paid the same amount as other salons and got wayyy less IMO. The most disturbing thing is the lack of visible cleanliness procedures. The foot bath had no plastic cover (and I doubt they scrub that thing in between customers) and the pumice stone that she used on my feet was visibly old and used as she pulled it out her cart and pulled some stuck on piece of who knows what off. Nails are thick and the nail guy cut my finger with the drill and still wanted me to pay the full $25!! when I complained he said $22, I wouldn't have paid but I had to go to work and didn't have time to argue with them. I will be back tomorrow to get my money back because I've never had someone take a chunk out of my finger while getting my nails done and still expect me to pay full price. i enjoy going to this salon but my last visit there on 06/22/2021 i wasn't so pleased my go to guy luis wasn't available at the time so he addressed another nail tech that took me in and i usually prefer my normal nail tech but i allowed her to assist luis with doing my nails, now i must say miss christina was swift and i knew what i wanted just so happen christina had did a similar nail prop demonstration and i thought it was pretty. plus i went ahead and got a brand new full set just for her work considering she's a new tech, and it was amazing to see how fast she did everything, but right down to the nail designs she did not follow threw with the proper technique of coloring:( and i mentioned to her before she started what i wanted and she totally forgot the finishing touches, it's already time to recieve a fill in along with a design i mentioned it to her and the owner and all i recieved was we are sorry we will fix it next time so not exceptable and it wasn't cheap but i don't mind paying for what i want no problem, but to go back in before it's time so not exceptable, i'm a little embrassed to show my hands because it's so noticeably and i've received several compliments on how beautiful they are, and i love them,now on the otherhand this major flaw with not stop me from being a loyal customer but i do not want to experience this again . thanks kimberly c. read more

As many others do, went here because my usual nail salon was full (Bella Nails in Trenton Rd.) BAD mistake! The owner, Kim, I believe, did my nails. She's a smoker, which I don't care... until she coughs in my hand and face, goes out for a smoke and doesn't wash her hands to continue my nails. Take in mind, I DISPITE cigarette smell nevertheless, right in my face. Talking about spreading germs. NEVER again will I stop here! Don't waste your time and money. I would give no stars if possible. My husband got me a gift card from this place, actually 3 for $60 each. So I went and got a pedicure, I was not impressed, my water was cold and the lady cut cuticle enough to make it bleed on my toe. I did not make a fuss about it, and I gave the lady the give card, which written on a coupon. My gift card was worth $60 my service was $35. So I asked the lady how am I supposed to redeem the rest of my gift card if it is written on this paper coupon. She took a pen cross out the 60 and put $25 left on the paper. I was a little uneasy but I figured well they know their system, but then I noticed on this gift card it says it expires in 6 months. I do not understand how I can give you $60 for a future service and you tell me if I don't come in within 6 months that you just get to have my $60. I didn't think much of it because I was prepared to come regularly. Well my husband being a husband, he continued to buy the gift cards from this place. We had a family death, and of course pedicures are not as important when dealing with death. Now I have 3 gift cards 2 for $60 and one for $25. I went to speak with someone at the desk to see what could be done, and to get clarity on this 6 month policy. She said, yes after 6 months they expired that is our policy. How do I give you $60, and you tell me because I didn't use them within 6 months, I basically forfeited my $60 to nails 88, you were given cash and it did not lose value, it did not depreciate, it is $60 today and it is still $60 in 7 months. Nails 88 is slow and the staff is absolutely rude and when I had come in for a pedicure they would not let my have just a basic one. No I had to have the gel. The woman who had been "assigned" to do my nails scooted me too far forward and then lifted my leg onto a elevation thing. I constantly told her louder and slower every time that she was hurting me. She only dug harder into my toe causing it to bleed. Then I heard a "pop" only to find my hip was out of place. Then they tried to make me pay full price.
