I have been here a few times over the years, I went for a pedi and basic mani. The manicure was dismal, my cuticles were not cleaned up, my cuticle was cut and bled so the woman placed the glue on it. My nails were not filed neatly. I did not want gel or additional nails so I can only assume natural nails don't get the same attention. I had to ask for some oil on my cuticles so they would look decent when leaving. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR NAIL REMOVAL!!!! I went to this salon to get my acrylics removed. I normally go elsewhere but it was next door to where my husband had an appointment. I figured "it's just a removal, so how bad could that be?" WRONG! As soon as I sat down the nail tech started ripping my acrylic nails off! No pre soak or anything to break down the adhesive or acrylic like other salons I've been to have done. I was audibly wincing in pain and saying "ouch" and almost sweating from the pain of her ripping acrylic nails off. She asked "does it hurt?" I said "yes, a lot" and she continued to rip them off. I felt sick from pain. She ripped off CHUNKS of nail and still continued. But no this time I got there early the guys that did my pedi, did not wear gloves I'm after I told him I would prefer for him to wear gloves he ignored me the whole time. I let that side. He then threw me the menu to see which up price service I wanted. I told him just the regular. He had a whole attitude during the session. I kindly asked him if there was a problem, and he looked at me said no and began to speak in his foreign language. Now I'm Latina and I know exactly what he was doing. Very clean open nail salon close to exit 1 on Tiny Town Road. Went here with mom to get mom and daughter mani pedi's done today. We both had the #5 pedicure that gave me a nice foot scrub and a great softening cream massage on my legs. I was offered a choice between 3 different beverage items while I was waiting but when she said wine I didn't even want to hear what else she had to offer. They have several tv's but none of them were on when we were there. They had very soothing music playing the whole time which made me sleepy. The nail techs that worked on us did a great job and I was pleased with our services. I was told that they used to be called Hollywood nails but are now called Angel nails. The police were called and she told us to come back the next day to Angel Nails where she would be working and that she would do the service for free, however she lied and charged her full price. I used to go here all the time with my aunt and they did a wonderful job I really like T but shes not there anymore . Me and my boyfriend went today and she basically stabbed his toes and the guy did a horrible job at painting my toes that I had to ask to use remover to get it off. I meant to go to a different angel nails and came here instead by mistake. Not happy at all. I asked for a gel refill, and they didnt use gel. I asked to cut them a little shorter. A little. He went so short. My nails were uneven and not coffin shaped. I showed the guy a picture of short nails with coffin and he said that's what mine were. Lol. I should have taken a picture of this mess. He was really nice, but just not good. What was good was he had another guy come and shape them and explain what he should be doing. But it still isnt right. Then painting: He missed many sides of my nails. I showed him, he apologised and fixed it, but the apologies and nice personality doesnt matter when the quality is so poor. A fill in regular polish takes 30 minutes. I was there for an hour and 15. If you dont feel comfortable correcting everything that's wrong, you will leave unhappy. You'll also leave unhappy having to correct everything. I wouldnt recommend or come again. read more

I found a picture of something I liked and my nail tech helped me choose the 2 colors that best matched the picture.. My friend treated me to a pedicure here, which I greatly appreciated. She had extolled the virtues of this place, so despite my self-protestations, I decided to let my sensitive feet put it to the test. From what I could figure out, the drill is to shock your feet into delight with a series of hot/cold/hot cold procedures. There is a definite wake up call to the system in the process. There were many kinds of lotions and oils applied to the feet, ankles and calves. Some were warm, some cool and full of menthol. Unfortunately, the massage, which should have been the high point of the pedicure, was disappointing. The lack of experience and or training became apparent when the masseuse showed no consistency in application or technique. The massage was superficial rather than deep. A type of massage on my right leg wasn't necessarily followed by an identical massage on my left leg or a massage on my right leg with a particular technique for several minutes would then be applied to my left leg for just one minute. I was very surprised that, despite the presence of the necessary equipment, the callouses on my feet were not removed using the usual cheese grater-type tool. You might ask, why didn't I mention any of this to the person providing the pedicure? I prefer to let people do their work and then determine whether or not the work was satisfactory. Everyone deserves a chance to do what they may or may not be trained to do. In this case, the provider would be well-advised to learn what is an excellent foot/leg massage before taking this up as a profession. My friend told me there is another massage provider here who is very, very good. Next time I go back, I will request his services and see if this place can measure up. If I could give a negative star I so would. This place is ridiculous waited 2 hours to get my nails dipped and my nieces toes painted. When "Ken" decides he wanted to finally do my nails he was so RUDE and PAINFUL. My fingers were literally bleeding and when I asked him to fix my broken nail he broke before I even left the salon he ignored me first, then I asked another tech and he came over he literally looked at them and threw my hand down and said I broke it. They did gel nails on me after I said I didn't want them and my nails hurt so bad now and the guy that did my nails was so hard I was about to tell him to stop. It hurt that bad my pedicure was not so bad. That guy was great when I went to check out. The experience here was very relaxing. The nail artists did a great job on our Pedicures, manicured. My only problem with this business is I just wanted a regular pedicure, but was asked what scent I wanted. I chose one thinking it was a part of the usual pedicure; however, it was part of a spa upgrade. I didn't expect the increase in cost until I was paying already. Seemed sort of sneaky. Maybe next time make it clear the scents are a part of the upgrade so nobody gets surprises. Did I mention the nail salon across the street charges $2 more for the spa upgrade than the basic mani/pedi combo I intended to receive? The upgrade was an extra $25! I didn't mention the waxing before because I really hadn't had time to let it sink in and stare at it. Not only is it cricked, but it's nowhere near what I'd asked for. I got my nails done on Friday June 22nd, 2018. Today is June 29, 2018 and I have had 2 nails completely break in half. The service was average at best. My nails were started on and then in middle I was told to sit in a chair and wait. I requested a full set and a pedicure. I left with no pedicure because they were closing and there was no time. I arrived at the shop well before they closed but by the time my nails were finished, there was no time to do the pedicure. As far as the nails that have broken off, I'm quite upset. There is literally no reason my nails should have broken in half after a week. Especially when I haven't put any real force or done anything that would cause them to break. They have done a shotty job more than once but I tried to give them the benefit. The last time I paid 50.00 for my daughters nails and they weren't the correct shape, there were gaps in the acrylic, and the polish looked like a 4 year old did it. When I asked them to fix it, they wanted to talk their language in front of me and refused to fix it. The only way they would fix it is to pay 25.00 more dollars. I got a basic pedicure. First, my water was cold so I told them to warm it up and it was a little bit warmer but still cold. So I was like whatever. The "grated cheese" that they use , after he had used it on my foot he set it on the floor. He didn't even put it back on the tray he had it on. Now looking at my feet, he did okay on the gel polish but they're suppose to ask if you will be getting gel or regular polish before the pedicure even starts because gel has to be done when your feet are dry but we'll see how long it stays on. read more

My daughter who is 9 and I came here to get our nails done. They kept trying to push the adult pedicure price on my child when she should have gotten the kids mani pedi combo which is $35.00 and up for 10 years and younger. The lady looked at me and my daughter and didn't believe that she was 9. She said she needed proof to show that my daughter is 9 years old. I get it that my daughter is tall but for someone to tell me she's not when I can show proof is outrageous, offensive, and discriminative. She tried to charge my daughter 50.00 for a pedicure with gel and then another 30.00 for a manicure with gel. How does 80.00 equate to a kid mani pedi when it's advertised as: mani: 13.00, pedi 20.00 and up and mani pedi combo $35.00 and up. I understand that we added gel but how does a combo equate to $80? Charge the 35.00 and add 15.00 for the gel. I have no problem with that. Very unprofessional, offensive, and discriminative. If we hadn't gotten a gift certificate from my boyfriend we would have left immediately. But the entire time the nail tech was working on my nails she was also juggling three different phones and would stop every 5 seconds to answer one or write something down. At one point she had two calls going at the same time. I thought it was very unprofessional. I went in for a fill and a pedicure. French tip pedicure and he colored several of my nails entirely white then slapped top coat on three out of ten toes and left to put me in a nail chair. I asked for faded french tip and was told I had to have a whole new set and they couldn't fill acrylic powder unless it was clear. I had to explain that I had clear acrylic with polish on top and they could fill it in with colored acrylic because I get it done in my regular salon OFTEN. I even walked them through the process and they acted as if they understood then said they were charging me $50 for a new full set so after the hour I've had I asked to scrap the nails and just fix my pedicure. I explain my nails are white and I asked for french tip and he kept laughing at me saying my toes were done. Once I finally got it across to him he fixed them haphazardly and didn't re clear coat any of them and walked away. I paid at the front desk but now I wish I wouldn't have. $45 and an hour later and I have to go to another nail salon to have this mess fixed. read more

I have been coming here for about 2 years now and today was my last visit , they continue losing people and now the people who replaced those aren't good at their work. I have had plenty of gel manicures before and they have not peeled off the way this set did. I am not happy that I paid 30.00 after being told to get the gel manicure by the manicurist because they "last longer". It is hard to find a salon that is focused on the service they provide for customers rather than the money they make off your service. Angel Nails provides an awesome experience. It is relaxing and very enjoyable. They do an incredible job! I absolutely love Kin! I go every 10 days and have both gel fill and full pedicure. One of the reviews I read said they were simply asked to pick a scent for their pedicure. I am Always asked which pedicure option i want. They hold up a card and point to the various options. The customer is always given the choice of which grade of pedicure they are receiving. I went there and I took my sisters. They got the coffin and gel and they did a pretty good job. However, I got the coffin but on 2 nails I got rhinestones. I know that they would come off eventually. They came off the very next day. I had a nail full of them now, while typing this I only have a half a nail full. The other nail that only had a few only has one on each now.
