Chipped nail

Was my 2nd time here. I loved it at first. The nail polish shipped on my thumb the same day I got my nails done. I asked my nail tech to change my nails from long square French to short stiletto pink. She didn't seem happy to do it. That killed the vibe.

I'm so glad I found this gem! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming and elevated. The decor is super chic, everything is sparkling clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I came in for a pedicure and left feeling like royalty. Not only did they take their time with every step, but they also offered me a drink from their complimentary bar--yes, complimentary! I had a delicious coffee while getting pampered. There's a huge selection of colors, and the attention to detail during the service really impressed me. The techs were professional but warm, and the environment is just so relaxing. Convenient location (less than 10 minutes from me!), plenty of parking, and did I mention the drink menu? Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality service in a luxurious, fun atmosphere. This is officially my new nail home!

This is what my nails looked like just 4 days after the manicure.

WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE EVER! I came from CA to visit friends for a girls' trip. We made appointments for all 4 of us to get manis and pedis. I sat down in the chair and told "Linda" I wanted a mani and a pedi with regular polish. For some reason, she asked several times what I wanted. Not once did she make eye contact with me. I asked her to make the water warmer but before I knew it, it was boiling. I asked her to make it cooler. She muttered under her breath sarcastically that "first I wanted it warmer and then I wanted it cooler." She had headphones in the entire time and was speaking Vietnamese the entire time. My friends were served the drinks they ordered. I ordered my drink at the same time but wasn't served for 20-30 minutes because Linda didn't want to make my drink. She asked a coworker to make it who was doing my friend's toes. My friend told her to continue working on her toes and not stop to make my drink. A male employee ended up making my drink. She did a terrible job painting my nails. Needless to say, the polish began chipping off 2 days later. I usually paint my own nails and the polish lasts at least 1 week! In addition, the next day, I noticed my big toe was a little sore. That's because she dug into the area between the cuticle and the toe. This was unnecessary and my toe hurt for several days. I believe it didn't get infected because I was in the pool and the chlorine protected it. Also, I had hurt my leg really bad a week before and I explained to her that when she did the massage to go around that area. She decided not to massage that leg at all. The massage she did on the other leg wasn't a massage. She merely applied lotion. I called and spoke to the manager the day after I returned home. He said he didn't have an employee named Linda. He listened to my complaint and asked what he could do to satisfy me. I told him I would like to have a full refund. He asked several times what day and time I came in and what time I would have paid my tab. He said he would have to look it up to verify what I paid. When he found out I paid cash, he suggested it would be best if he gave one of my friends a gift card. I said no because I was the person who was given the terrible service and I should be given the credit. He didn't know how he could issue a refund. I told him he could write me a check, send me cash or Venmo me the refund. He said he would talk to the owner and get back to me. Needless to say, he did not get back to me. That's why I'm writing this terrible review. I told him I would like to give him a chance to correct the problem or I would have to write a review. The customer service at this salon is very poor! This was a horrible experience. I almost got out of my chair after Linda made the comment about the water not being the right temperature and say I wanted someone else to do my nails. She was so rude! I've been getting my nails done for many years. This was the worst experience in a nail salon I've ever had.

So uneven

First time customer. Visiting from out of town due to a death in the family. Missed my normal fill in with my nail artist back home. I booked a pink/white fill in and a pedicure for 4pm with Michael. I arrived about 3:50 and I was told he had stepped out to run an errand. He was back around 4:15. He seemed seemed a bit frantic but I assumed it was because he was running late. He started on my nails and greeted a few people. About 10 minutes in he mentioned some relationship issues and then went from slightly irritated at to agitated; cursing. He really rushed through my appointment and didn't stop ranting. Other clients were just looking at me and watching his meltdown. At one point another technician did approach him and I think was attempting to try to calm the situation but was unable to do so. It was so embarrassing and I was really uncomfortable but by the time I realized how this was going to go, it was too late. For 50 minutes I listened and tried to be sympathetic. He instructed me to wash my hands and I did, while he went to the register to cash me out. At this point I was NOT going to let him near my feet. I had surgery in April and still have sensitivity issues. I am BEYOND disappointed and upset. I have a funeral tomorrow for my stepfather. My nails are horrible! my feet really needed pampered and given the events of this week it would have been nice to just relax and get pampered. Foolishly, I did leave a tip and my total was $60 and no I said nothing because he was already so angry. I just wanted out of there. I got to the car and realized JUST how horrible they looked. I can't wait to get home next week and get an appointment with my nail artist and get this soaked off and start fresh. I'm sure this was a bad day for him but I really wish he would have just asked someone else to do my nails and take time to deal with this issue and calm himself.

0/10 recommend quinn always have my nails looking good . It a nice and relaxing environment.

Really clean and fun environment! They had a bar, snacks, and were very attentive to customers. The nail technician that was attending to me (her name is Nhi) was very sweet and really nice to work with. Affordable service too, which is a win in my books. Will definitely go again!

I've been to Nail City twice now and I am definitely going to be a repeat customer. I got a pedicure and a gel acrylic set with designs and they turned out so beautifully. The salon is gorgeous and the employees are very nice. I got the Apple Special which was delicious as well.

Such a nice salon. It was clean and inviting. Everyone was so nice. They did exactly what I asked for. Clean, shorter for working purposes, and pretty. Excellent prices. I travel for work so I go to a lot of different states. I would highly recommended this salon.

I just finished my first visit with Katherine and I can't stop touching my feet!…read more I've never had a pedicure. I have TERRIBLE feet, crooked toes, and nails that are difficult to manage. I've mangled them regularly trying to cut my nails myself. And as someone who walks a lot and is constantly on my feet, I had a lot of callus build up prior to arrival in Katherine's chair! I got the podo-safe pedicure, which includes nail clipping and uses a peel and warm towels, followed by filing to break down calluses. I then got a paraffin treatment. Katherine was soft-spoken, professional, and did a great job. My nails are so well trimmed and my cuticles are perfect. My toes don't hurt at all like they usually do when I trim them. And my feet are no longer calloused and rough. They are so soft! They feel great! I am going back in a month for a repeat. And as a nail biter, next time I am also having her trim my fingernails, do my cuticles, and do a clear polish treatment for my hands. I scheduled my first appointments through Vagaro, an online scheduling platform. It was super convenient. As a note, nail clipping is included in the podo-safe pedicure, so no need to order that separately. The room was dimly lit with Christmas lights, the chair was comfy, it was quiet. The salon is clean and neat. Great spot. Will come here again and again now that I'm focusing on self-care!

Ok, Came to this…read morespot since it was the closest to my house - walking distance. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about it just yet. I moved from San Diego to Clarksville last week and this is the first nail salon I visit here. First off, the salon itself seems clean, really well decorated. Plasma TVs all around, nice comfy pedicure chairs, and heater was on (PLUS, since I'm not yet used to the cold) I was able to relax. HOWEVER, here are the negatives. 1. Not a lot of colors to choose from. 2. Customer gets one free drink of choice, I got pink wine which was delish, but when I got moved to the manicure area, I saw how dirty the glass was under the bright lights. 3. I got a male manicurist, I usually don't have a problem with males as long as they do their job right. He was very attentive but seemed new to the business. Spoke very little english. He gave me an awesome little foot massage, but that's about it. The color application wasn't what I was expecting. When he did my gel manicure (been getting gel manicures for about a year now) He left my nails soaking for an extremely long amount of time and it dried up my skin. Also, I have NEVER had a problem with my gel manicures, and the color always lasts... well, I have broken 2 nails since I got my nails done here and I am very upset. 4. The rest of the staff didn't seem so friendly, they stared at me too much and it made me feel uncomfortable. 5. They have different "styles" of pedicures that you can choose from, I chose a pomegranate (something) pedicure, that included a "hot stone" massage.... all I got was a hot towel, and then a regular massage, So I'm not sure if it was because the guy was new or not, but definitely not worth the extra $$. 6. Overpriced. In San Diego I paid around $60 including tip every time I went in for a pedi/mani. Here I ended up paying $70 NOT including tip. Would I go back? Maybe... I like to give places, especially nail salons when you have so many different manicurists to choose from, a second chance; but not anytime soon.

I went here on two separate occasions, the first was for an eyebrow wax. When I had walked in one…read morewoman told me that she'd be right with me. Then the man behind the counter yelled at her and said "anyone can do a waxing" along with waving down another woman and telling her to do my brows. She waxed not once, not twice, but 3 times in the same spot. Which caused her to strip not only my hair, but my skin too! My eyebrows are healing now, thankfully. & I didn't even get a refund. This should've told me the lack of professionalism, yet I decided to go again.. everyone deserves a second chance? No. My latest experience I went with my sister, there was a man who sat us in the chairs since we were there for pedicures. He proceeds to tell me I HAVE to get a special because he doesn't wanna do just a regular based pedi. And then while he's talking about the different prices, he starts rubbing my leg and completely veering off from pedicures telling me that I shouldn't have gotten married so young and that I need a guy like him. I was like uh excuse me? I didn't come here to get harassed. So I'm looking around like, where is someone else, and a woman comes to the front and yells at him, and another man comes up and they start bickering in foreign and they go to the back. No apologies. Finished the pedicure, and we left.

I explained to them what had previously happened things that were important to me and they took all of it seriously. Stacy and Amy are AMAZING! Amy pointed out my nails were not healthy at all so we started using builder gel to help get them back to where they need to. They are extremely clean I watched them spray and wipe down everything after each person. I felt heard and respected. I'm so happy I gave them a chance. I'm happy I found a nail place that listens to the customers and makes sure they leave happy.

My friends and I were so excited to get our pedicures together here. It was our first time to…read moreexperience this nail salon, but we may or may not return soon. One of my friends was bleeding on the side of her big toe where the older nail tech had cut her with the (dreaded) cheese grater tool. Now, I'd like to know when it became common practice to use a (cheese) grater on feet for pedicures! It's called a cheese grater for a reason, no?! Anyway, my friend could not continue with the pedicure due to how bad it hurt and continued to bleed despite the solution they poured on her cut (making it burn & hurt more)! The nail tech kept trying to put her foot back in the foot bath (not explaining that she needed to rinse off the callus remover solution). My friend repeatedly asked her for a bandaid and told her that she didn't want to continue the pedicure. At that point, I suggested to the tech that she use the faucet sprayer and rinse her foot with clean water. Luckily, a male tech or assistant manager had came over to assist and he cleaned my friend's wound with hydrogen peroxide which was soothing and cleansing ... but then, he poured more of the green solution making her cut burn again. Noooo! Yikes! My tech had just gotten started on my pedi. My nail tech was a young male. He was in the middle of removing the old polish off my toes. When all my toes had no polish, I kindly let the young male tech know that I was leaving along with (both of) my friends. I tipped him for removing the polish despite he saying that I didn't need to pay him. I'm not even going to comment on my other friend's nail tech. She completely just ignored my friend once the incident happened and we showed deep concern for our friend who was just cut and bleeding! No sympathy for our friend and what happened. No asking her customer if she still wanted to continue with her pedicure. Nothing. She actually went to her phone and started doing something on her phone out in the open! We see youuuuu. Hellloooo?? Well, we left. And, went to get coffee next door. (BTW, we highly recommend the Wesbrooks Coffee shop in the next suite!). If you have read this far, Thank You!! I highly recommend saying "No, thanks!" when they bring out the cheese graters. Yes, they are very sharp when new. Ugh. Duh. Maybe the older woman / nail tech just needs glasses. It really is pretty inside and looked clean and new. Not busy at all on a late Friday morning. We we able to walk in and each get a chair and a tech! Oh well.
