Found this place on yelp and brought my aunt who was visiting from Alberta. They booked us in super…read morequick. The place is super super clean and they are super nice. Absolutely liked the pedicure experience with the hot stone massage. Highly recommend this place

This wasn't my first time here. I came 2 months ago and got a pedicure with some friends, one of my…read morefriends goes here a lot and raved about it. I came here the other day for a pedicure and shellac manicure. When the girl was grating off the calused part of my foot, she took a chunk of my skin off. I started bleeding and it wouldn't stop. Now, i know it was an honest mistake and she was sorry about it, my problem was how they handled it. She spoke her language with some other technician (no idea if that was the manager) and put a bandaid on it. The manager didn't come to me, nor did anything, no one seemed to care she had accidentally done this. Just a 'oh so sorry' and continued along after putting a band aid on. Afterwards I got a shellac manicure, but the manicure is soooo bumpy, so many bubbles and not evenly done (like it wasn't painted evenly) It kind of sucks because I've heard so many good things about this place, but I also heard that lately they've been over booking and their quality isn't near what they used to be. Clearly after my experience I agree. When I went to pay they charged me full price everything, no discount or anything after they injured me (getting cut on the ball of your foot is annoying to have to walk on afterwards since I couldn't put any pressure if i didn't want it stinging) The only reason i didn't make a fuss was because i was there for all ready 2 hours and was running late for a dance practice (which now i had to sit out from....) Not impressed. Not going back.

I came here at 2pm and it was busy. Typical nail salon, nothing fancy. All I wanted was a colour…read morechange and I waited close to 25 minutes and I wasn't too happy. During my wait I seen two other unhappy customers return with nail problems and the owner looked irritated but helped them. One thing that is very unprofessional at these nail salons are that they speak their own language which can make a customer feel very uncomfortable. Finally when it was my turn, the lady rushed, got nail polish on everything and took less than 5 minutes with me. Now, its been less than 24 hours and my nail polish has chipped, so I will be going back to get them fixed up. After today, I will no longer be going to this salon for my nail needs, sorry.

That being said, I went a couple times when I first moved to Brampton, and it was always busy when I stopped by the plaza, so I thought that was a good sign. To be honest, wasn't anything special about my first couple visits, standard mani/pedi, and the massage was always pretty short and not hard enough even when asked for more pressure. The staff tend to chit chat a lot with each other and didn't seem to want to talk to me when I tried chatting with any of my nail techs. My final visit was really, to put it bluntly, down-right dangerous! The nail tech doing my pedi decided to watch the movie playing on their tv, which is at the back of the salon. She was so interested in the movie that she clearly wasn't looking at any of her work while she continued to use sharp tools on my skin! Eventually I started timing her to see how long it would take her to turn away from the tv. It was minutes! I also had to remind her to use the scrapping tool for calluses. Lastly, when she smudged the nail polish, instead of taking off the previous 2 coats, she tried to put another coat on! I had to politely ask her to remove it and please redo that one nail, which she clearly wasn't happy about judging from her sour facial expression. That was my last appointment, because I work in the beauty/service industry too, and while I know sometimes it's tough, I can't even imagine treating my clients with such disregard.
