Thank god I took the chance! Now, I've been coming to Rupal for probably over 5 years! She has really transformed my eyebrows. Now, I can go a month without threading and there's barely any growth. They don't get bushy or anything. They just stay as the shape they're supposed to be! It takes time, but you will notice the difference. In the beginning, you will have to keep getting your eyebrows done every few weeks, but eventually, you will be able to go longer and longer without touching them. My experience was terrifying... I got a Brazilian wax (not for the first time, but this was my first experience at Rupal's) and Trusha waxed the same areas OVER and OVER again. After my appointment; there was still hair left, I was left with a burn/scab, and I was sore for days afterward. Towards the end of my appointment, Rupal appeared in the room and despite her soothing tone, I didn't feel comforted at all. She recommended other (more expensive) treatments and explained that my "type of hair" (I'm a black woman with coarse, curly hair) prevented Trusha from removing all of it. SOME NERVE! This was my first time sugaring, so I really didn't know what to expect. I just knew that it was supposed to hurt less than waxing. Guess what? That was absolutely true! I'm addicted. I love this method. It hurt way less and the results were instantly better than waxing. I was surprised with how many less ingrowns I saw on my leg. Usually after waxing I can still see some but with sugaring there were barely any! For those who are scared to get a Brazilian wax, a Brazilian sugar hurts way less! So defs try it out.
