We went to lunch and returned and they couldn't have been more accommodating! We found out that they were missing two staff that day because otherwise walk-ins are no problem. Sabrina and Sue did such a meticulous job with cuticles and callouses. Sabrina cut out the in-grown nails that had been bothersome for my friend. When have we had this kind of care in a pedi?! I am originally from Miami Florida. In Connecticut for about 30 to 45 days for work. I decided to go and get my nails done. Visited this particular nail shop just for a manicure. The service was less than good. They do not remove your cuticles. They only push your cuticles back. There is an extra cost to remove your cuticles. In Miami the nail techs push your cuticles back and remove your cuticles so your nails won't look raggedy. My nails were bumpy and the polish was bubbling. After voicing my concerns with my nails, they were expecting me to spend another hour and a half in their shop so that they can fix the errors. Unfortunately, the additional time they are asking me to give them I will not get back, nor will I be compensated for it. They did not provide me with a discount or an apology for their bad work. I do not recommend this nail shop to anyone. If you do not get your nails done often and don't know what to look for when getting your nails done, then go to them. However, for those that always get their nails done and know what to look for, don't go there because you will be very disappointed. read more

She has such a creative artistic mind and does beautiful design work and stunning sets. I always get many compliments when she does my nails. On top of that my husband is very picky about who touches his eyebrows, and he has only ever allowed Liz or her brother Sonny to do his eyebrows. By far one of the worst nail salons I've ever encountered. I asked for a gel fill french tip by a young lady with great reviews named Sabrina. Well an hour and half later and jagged white nail tips, I was disgusted and embarrassed to walk around like so. The next day I called to Express that I really didnt like the way my nails looked and I felt embarrassed to walk around or show my hands considering I work in the health field. The owner said to come in when I could which would be Monday. I came in and got Sabrina again and asked if I wanted to fix them all, I said no to please take off the polish and just put a coat of color on, I didn't want her to redo something she had already told me when doing my nails that she doesnt do French that often. After she takes off the color and tells me she had a tuna sandwich for lunch the owner says instead of 6 dollars charge her 13.. that was my breaking point, I already spent 40 dollars on Thursday, and now you want me me to pay money to the person whom messed them up.. nope. I had her take off whatever was left and said no color I'll just leave. I was never told I had to pay extra, nor was I told I would have the same person whom couldn't do them in the first time. The man, I believe his name is Sammy, or something along those lines, was the RUDEST person I've ever had the displeasure of working with. All I asked for was a simple, clean pink and white set. As soon as I expressed my dislike with the fact that he literally made the pink over my own finger tip, making my nail beds look way too long. And I was NICE about it. He immediately got rude with me. I was I think over excited to get my nails done... I had pretty high expectations for my pedicure and manicure, but then again, who doesn't? I got a pedicure and manicure and usually when I get a pedicure, I get a bit of a leg and foot massage as well. It is usually part of the package. However, this did not happen. It's no big deal, but I'm pregnant, and I'll take a rub when I can get it! The staff was super nice however! I had three people working on me, and they were all as sweet as can be! I went here on a few recommendations. I wish had known you should make an appointment and ask for someone specific. Apparently not everyone that works here is good. The older woman I had was terrible. Burning me with the electric file. Acrylic hanging off the side and stuck to my skin. Pretty much slapped the polish on and missing the sides and getting it on my skin. No polish along the tip edge. This place is not clean either. And the UV lights don't even work when you go to dry. I come in everything was good but I was kinda didn't like how all the nail polishes in the front weren't all the same like brand but that was fine I guess so that knocked off .5 a star, I picked out my nail polishes sat down and she started doing my nails but before She started I asked what I'd the difference between powder and normal nail polish and I could not understand a single word she was saying but I just went with it. I just moved into the area and was looking on yelp for a good place to get a pedicure, after combing through a few places. I drove past this place and thought I'll go there! I am so happy I did, very friendly, nice, and clean! Also with my basic pedicure I got a 6min leg massage, hot towels, hot wax on my heels, and then to top it off while I was sitting at the dryer for my toes, she gave me a 2min back rub!!! And as a treat of graduating they took $10 off for the rhinestones. And this place makes you feel so comfortable to get your nails done. I went here a couple weeks ago to get a gel fill. The issue i had with this place is the overall quality of my nails and cleanliness of the salon. While my nails were under the UV light a bug dropped onto my hand, and then after i took them out the second time there was another bug literally fused onto my nail and he had to pull it off and paint over it again. Their workstations were never cleaned off in between clients and when my nails were finally done they were all different lengths, and were extremely thick. They obviously were rushing through it and didn't pay close attention, i ended up getting passed off to another guy in the middle of it, when he started working on my nails he did go through and try to fix some of the nails, because they were slanted and he noticed some of the length differences so that much i did appreciate. I would not recommend this salon based on the fact that it is not clean alone, but on top of that the quality was just terrible, my nails were chipping like crazy and two of them popped off within a week. Their prices are cheap and appealing, but you get what you pay for i guess. Spend a little bit more and go to a decent quality, clean salon. read more

I couldn't be more upset with this salon. I've been bouncing between a few places but since I was in the area I decided to go in for a gel fill. The day before I had injured one of my nails at work, cracking the gel and lifting my nail from the nail bed. I assumed my real nail would need to be cut and a tip glued on to fix it. Instead of filing away the cracked gel, the tech applied nail glue to underneath the cracked and lifted parts and proceeded to go over top with new gel. I tried to have faith that she knew what she was doing even though I was suspicious. The rest of my manicure was lumpy with gel and polish pooled in the cuticles, and not reaching all the way to the side edges of my nail. Fast forward just one week later when enough start lifting (including the injured nail, which the gel had completely lifted off of) that I decide to go to a new salon. Turns out what I thought was a bruise on my nail bed was MOLD, and after more filing it turns out that wasn't the only one. The new tech had to completely remove the gel and said it could take months before it grows out and I can get another set! BEWARE!!
