I have a class reunion this coming weekend and needed to get my nails done. Unfortunately, I sliced my finger open yesterday and had to get stitches. I was very nervous about getting my manicure and possibly hurting my finger but I have to say Susan was fantastic. She was mindful of my injury 100% of the time. Also being pre-diabetic, my feet are sensitive. Susan was as gentle as she could be. I will absolutely be going back to see her. THANK-YOU SUSAN!!!!! read more

My friend and I walked in without an appointment and the very nice woman at the front desk asked if we could come back in an hour. We went to lunch and returned and they couldn't have been more accommodating! We found out that they were missing two staff that day because otherwise walk-ins are no problem. Sabrina and Sue did such a meticulous job with cuticles and callouses. Sabrina cut out the in-grown nails that had been bothersome for my friend. When have we had this kind of care in a pedi?! The massage wasn't the best but I think the attention to the toes is more important! read more

I am originally from Miami Florida. In Connecticut for about 30 to 45 days for work. I decided to go and get my nails done. Visited this particular nail shop just for a manicure. The service was less than good. They do not remove your cuticles. They only push your cuticles back. There is an extra cost to remove your cuticles. In Miami the nail techs push your cuticles back and remove your cuticles so your nails won't look raggedy. My nails were bumpy and the polish was bubbling. After voicing my concerns with my nails, they were expecting me to spend another hour and a half in their shop so that they can fix the errors. Unfortunately, the additional time they are asking me to give them I will not get back, nor will I be compensated for it. They did not provide me with a discount or an apology for their bad work. I do not recommend this nail shop to anyone. If you do not get your nails done often and don't know what to look for when getting your nails done, then go to them. However, for those that always get their nails done and know what to look for, don't go there because you will be very disappointed. read more

Nobody does a mani/pedi like SABRINA at Nails 4 U. She's professional, exceptionally skilled, and an all around pleasure to deal with. I'm an avid gardener and I'm hard on my fingernails and feet. She keeps my feet as smooth as a baby's bum, and her nail work is outstanding. She always has great tips on local places to go, and fun things to do too. Can't recommend her highly enough. read more

I have tried many other salons and always keep coming back! Liz is my favorite nail tech she did my nails for my quinceanera and my wedding. She has such a creative artistic mind and does beautiful design work and stunning sets. I always get many compliments when she does my nails. On top of that my husband is very picky about who touches his eyebrows, and he has only ever allowed Liz or her brother Sonny to do his eyebrows. I also only go to those two and we have never had a complaint! They always do a fabulous job with our eyebrows and Liz always does a phenomenal job with my nails. read more

I have been going here for years! Everyone in the shop is great & has always welcomed me in with excellent service and great conversation.

Request Sabrina. My sister in law suggested her so I went to her today. Super fast, never hurted me, very gentle, has lots of ideas and materials for design. I have a baby at home so I didn't get crazy design this time, but my sister in law's nails have all sorts of different design on them everytime I see her lol This comment is coming from a girl who's been getting her nails done for 21 years, so... read more

Liz and her employees to an amazing job! I have never been to a better nail salon!! I cannot wait to go again for the royal treatment.

Good place to go for a quick nail service. I took my daughter (4) and her nails turned out well. I had my eyebrows done and they were really great! Total we paid $23 after tip, so for what it was the services were very cheap! read more

Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon unhappy with my last dip set I got elsewhere. Liz took me and was great! She is honest and down to earth and definitely exceeded my expectations! She did an ombré of 2 colors and it came out so nice! She knows what she's doing and did an amazing job. She's got a new regular customer. read more

Nothing fancy, but they always except me quickly as a walk in and the pedicurists are consistently good. They always ask what you want step by step. My absolute favorite part about this salon is they line the foot bath with a new plastic liner for you. read more

By far one of the worst nail salons I've ever encountered. I asked for a gel fill french tip by a young lady with great reviews named Sabrina. Well an hour and half later and jagged white nail tips, I was disgusted and embarrassed to walk around like so. The next day I called to Express that I really didnt like the way my nails looked and I felt embarrassed to walk around or show my hands considering I work in the health field. The owner said to come in when I could which would be Monday. I came in and got Sabrina again and asked if I wanted to fix them all, I said no to please take off the polish and just put a coat of color on, I didn't want her to redo something she had already told me when doing my nails that she doesnt do French that often. After she takes off the color and tells me she had a tuna sandwich for lunch the owner says instead of 6 dollars charge her 13.. that was my breaking point, I already spent 40 dollars on Thursday, and now you want me me to pay money to the person whom messed them up.. nope. I had her take off whatever was left and said no color I'll just leave. I was never told I had to pay extra, nor was I told I would have the same person whom couldn't do them in the first time. I would rather drive 2 hours from where I'm from then to ever set foot in that salon. Do your research.. read more

Nails 4 U - Middle nail finger severely crooked. - Nail Salons Near Me - New London, Connecticut

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I had never been to this salon until today. The man, I believe his name is Sammy, or something along those lines, was the RUDEST person I've ever had the displeasure of working with. All I asked for was a simple, clean pink and white set. As soon as I expressed my dislike with the fact that he literally made the pink over my own finger tip, making my nail beds look way too long. And I was NICE about it. He immediately got rude with me. Rushed to take the acrylic off and burned/cut me with the excessively fast drill, because he was mad that "it'll take more time" after he fucked it up the 2nd time, I asked for someone else. He then stormed out of the building, telling me to fuck myself. I will NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN! read more

Not worth the money, I do not recommend this place. 35.00 for a basic, rushed pedicure. I spent more time waiting for my appointment than I did in the pedicure chair!! read more

I will never go here again!!!! I had a Oscar red carpet event to go to last night and I had to go with a skinned, burnt upper lip! When I complained to the owner just now she refused to give me a refund until I told her I was going to give them a review! She then offered a refund plus $1 to go to the dollar store to buy a antibiotic! As a black woman this is a scar for life!!!! My makeup couldn't even cover it up last night!! read more

I was I think over excited to get my nails done... I had pretty high expectations for my pedicure and manicure, but then again, who doesn't? I got a pedicure and manicure and usually when I get a pedicure, I get a bit of a leg and foot massage as well. It is usually part of the package. However, this did not happen. It's no big deal, but I'm pregnant, and I'll take a rub when I can get it! The staff was super nice however! I had three people working on me, and they were all as sweet as can be! The price was right and french tips are only an additional $5!!!!! I don't know if I will be back. I will if I can't find another place! read more

I don't like my nail, I wis this had a zero. Our service was rushed the stuff very rude. Quick to take other customers and don't know how to do nails. Will never return. That was a big waste of every effort. I can't go on about this place. Please be aware. read more

Came here on Yelp recommendations. Nail Techs were very friendly I really Like the way my nails turned out, I tend to be very picky... I will return on monday for a pedi (not enought time last sat) Eyebrows - wow!! I have never had anyone actually do what I asked .... Liz was great she gave me a awesome arch.. I'm going to have trouble finding someone like her at my next town, much less finding someone back home. 4 stars due to no privacy for waxing.. read more

I went here on a few recommendations. I wish had known you should make an appointment and ask for someone specific. Apparently not everyone that works here is good. The older woman I had was terrible. Burning me with the electric file. Acrylic hanging off the side and stuck to my skin. Pretty much slapped the polish on and missing the sides and getting it on my skin. No polish along the tip edge. This place is not clean either. And the UV lights don't even work when you go to dry. I don't recommend this place. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

I come in everything was good but I was kinda didn't like how all the nail polishes in the front weren't all the same like brand but that was fine I guess so that knocked off .5 a star, I picked out my nail polishes sat down and she started doing my nails but before She started I asked what I'd the difference between powder and normal nail polish and I could not understand a single word she was saying but I just went with it. She started doing my nails everything was going fine except they're is like 2 nails that are crooked but whatever and one nail was shorter then the other one but whatever I go sit down to get my nails painted and she starts and it's going good but I was disappointed how she didn't tell me to put my hands in the UV light because that's what I did at the last salon but okkkkk and the i finish and it cost $45 for something not even that good but ok I guess I have to pay on my way out bubbles start forming and then I go and buy something from shoprite and I come out and I already have my nails messed up they looked 2 weeks old I hated them never going back!!! Overall the nails were bad but the lady's were very nice and gentle read more

I just moved into the area and was looking on yelp for a good place to get a pedicure, after combing through a few places. I drove past this place and thought I'll go there! I am so happy I did, very friendly, nice, and clean! Also with my basic pedicure I got a 6min leg massage, hot towels, hot wax on my heels, and then to top it off while I was sitting at the dryer for my toes, she gave me a 2min back rub!!! This was all exactly what I needed and will definitely be back! read more

I only came here once before a couple years ago and they did great but I came today to get my nails done for my graduation. She asked exactly how I wanted them shaped and painted. And as a treat of graduating they took $10 off for the rhinestones. And this place makes you feel so comfortable to get your nails done. They do nails sooo good definitely gonna keep coming here for my nails. Love my nails read more

I went here a couple weeks ago to get a gel fill. The issue i had with this place is the overall quality of my nails and cleanliness of the salon. While my nails were under the UV light a bug dropped onto my hand, and then after i took them out the second time there was another bug literally fused onto my nail and he had to pull it off and paint over it again. Their workstations were never cleaned off in between clients and when my nails were finally done they were all different lengths, and were extremely thick. They obviously were rushing through it and didn't pay close attention, i ended up getting passed off to another guy in the middle of it, when he started working on my nails he did go through and try to fix some of the nails, because they were slanted and he noticed some of the length differences so that much i did appreciate. I would not recommend this salon based on the fact that it is not clean alone, but on top of that the quality was just terrible, my nails were chipping like crazy and two of them popped off within a week. Their prices are cheap and appealing, but you get what you pay for i guess. Spend a little bit more and go to a decent quality, clean salon. read more

This place is run by rude people who are disorganized and greedy. Made an appointment and they completely ignored the time. Said they would start in 5 minutes and 10 minutes later still had not started. Unapologetic after having me come back an hour later when I should have just gone to a reputable salon. I couldn't be more upset with this salon. I've been bouncing between a few places but since I was in the area I decided to go in for a gel fill. The day before I had injured one of my nails at work, cracking the gel and lifting my nail from the nail bed. I assumed my real nail would need to be cut and a tip glued on to fix it. Instead of filing away the cracked gel, the tech applied nail glue to underneath the cracked and lifted parts and proceeded to go over top with new gel. I tried to have faith that she knew what she was doing even though I was suspicious. The rest of my manicure was lumpy with gel and polish pooled in the cuticles, and not reaching all the way to the side edges of my nail. Fast forward just one week later when enough start lifting (including the injured nail, which the gel had completely lifted off of) that I decide to go to a new salon. Turns out what I thought was a bruise on my nail bed was MOLD, and after more filing it turns out that wasn't the only one. The new tech had to completely remove the gel and said it could take months before it grows out and I can get another set! BEWARE!! Some techs here may be great but that one certainly was not!! read more

I love this place ... Most of the people who work there are great at doing nails and eyebrows, Sunny fixed my eyebrows that someone previously messed up and he made my full set of acrylics look great.
