They asked if we had any problem areas that required a little extra TLC. They tackled those problem areas with precision, leaving us feeling completely rejuvenated. It was clear they were experienced and genuinely cared about our comfort throughout the session. You can tip the therapist either cash or charge it to your card when you reconcile your bill at the end of your session. Minimum 18% tip. The spa amenities were equally impressive. The steam room and sauna provided the perfect pre-massage relaxation. The fitness room was huge with decent equipment and well maintained. The lounge and pool area was complete with plush seating with complimentary refreshments which includes coffee, teas, pineapple and tomato juice and water. There is a dedicated men's and women's section of course. There is a locker attendant that will assist you in getting your locker set up and will give you a robe and explain all the amenities offered there, thanks for hooking me up Angel and Manny. Reminder, the pool, gym and salon are the only common areas where men and women can congregate. (Outdoors too, but not in the winter) The overall cleanliness was a 3.5/5, but like anything else, it's the spa members that need to respect the rules and maintain some decency and civility. In other words, I don't care how much money you spend here, act like an adult you filthy animal! Sorry, had to vent. Overall, G-spa and salon exceeded our expectations. We talked about options and I was told about what would be best for me. When I returned for my treatment, I was led into serene room where I had a thorough treatment on a cozy facial bed. The lighting and music was soothing. She addressed all my issues and talked about each step she took. My skin looks so much brighter and feels great! The lady that did it was nice but rushed through the service and was very rough on my hair to the point I was wincing. The length and cut came out good, she used like no product on my hair except a heat protectant and it just looked so dry and not great when she was done. I was disappointed but luckily my sister had some products with her so I was able to fix it a little bit. What they don't tell you also is that on the weekends they charge an additional 10$ for all services, as well as automatically add gratuity (I wouldn't have tipped as much for what I received). For the amount I paid for the service ($115) I was expecting much more care and quality and would have been better off going to any other salon and paying $60 for much better results. I don't recommend getting hair services done here but do highly recommend the other amenities!

Dropping in with a little update since I've officially had experience with a second current stylist…read moreat Mirror Image. I dropped in last weekend with my mom, siblings and a couple other gals to get our hair done for my sister's wedding. The six of us (the bride, bridesmaids and mother of the bride) had our hair done by Kelly and Jessica (they each did three do's). Before arriving at the salon, I was a woman on a mission to make sure Kelly did my hair.....since she's the only stylist I knew at the salon. But of course, my mother and both sisters are also Kelly fans as well - and Kelly had already practiced with the other ladies' hair and had a plan in place. As soon as I saw Jessica start to work I knew I'd be okay. Just like Kelly, she was super competent and great with updos. My hair looked amazing! I got so many compliments on it. Everyone else's hair looked great too. All six of us entered the salon with varying degrees of knowing what we wanted.....and the ladies did a amazing job either matching our requests or helping us find the perfect updo. And the atmosphere was so nice, too. We ordered pastries and sandwiches from Felicia's (next door) and sipped on mimosas during the three hours we were there. Even though I offered mimosas to both Kelly and Jessica, they both opted against champagne while working on our hair....probably the professional decision.
