My sister and friend came here for the day to celebrate my sisters birthday. We each had a service and spent time in the locker room enjoying the amenities. The locker room staff were phenomenal! One of the staff was literally a fairy god mother and anything we needed she was already there with it, she was so on top of everything and made the experience so enjoyable and relaxing! However, my service was not as phenomenal. I booked a simple haircut as my service. The lady that did it was nice but rushed through the service and was very rough on my hair to the point I was wincing. The length and cut came out good, she used like no product on my hair except a heat protectant and it just looked so dry and not great when she was done. I was disappointed but luckily my sister had some products with her so I was able to fix it a little bit. What they don't tell you also is that on the weekends they charge an additional 10$ for all services, as well as automatically add gratuity (I wouldn't have tipped as much for what I received). For the amount I paid for the service ($115) I was expecting much more care and quality and would have been better off going to any other salon and paying $60 for much better results. I don't recommend getting hair services done here but do highly recommend the other amenities! read more

Beautiful spa on 9th floor of the grand Pequot hotel. You can select a large menu of types of services. I had the 80 minute signature one that was really good. I had Marsha and she listened to everything i wanted and was excellent When you use the spa you can also use the pool and hot tub. The ladies and mens rooms both have hot tubs saunas showers and steam rooms. The people working there were very nice and informative. They automatically add a tip (18%) which is reasonable. The services are a bit expensive but worth the price. Only constructive comment is to add hooks in the shower stalls. They kick kids out of the pool as advertised at 1pm which made fir a quiet relaxing time. read more

The massage therapist I had both time was named Cherie and I was so excited when I realized she was going be my tech again. She has great pressure while massaging and super relaxing and comfortable experience she's over all just talented at what she does! Super kind, accommodating, and she made my experience there so amazing! Ten out of ten recommend having a spa day here and I will be every-time I return back to the resort! read more

We paid $40 per person to use the Day spa, The staff are not friendly, they don't show you around to make you feel welcome. There is nothing relaxing about the place. The sauna was broken. We must get very lucky because we always have a great experience and great service here! My daughter and I were going several times a year before Covid, and today was our first time back in over two years. I'm so glad we went!! I got a massage and my daughter got a massage and facial. The pool area was not crowded at all for a Saturday and I love that it's adults only after 2pm now. I love the glass top above the pool and the ability to get some Sun even in winter! We ordered lunch from the room service menu and it was delivered to us right on the pool area. The only two things I would love to see is the spa specials to come back with the 50 min massage, 25 minute facial, and 25 minute manicure or pedicure. Secondly, I was disappointed they didn't have any of the spa body lotion available for sale. We love it, as does my mother in law, and the fragrance brings me back to the spa every time I use it! 3.5 stars for sure. Lady at the front desk gotta go take some hospitality classes on how to treat people. Her demeanor is just odd and slightly rude. My mother in law, sister in law, and myself got bad sunburn and wanted to opt out of our massages but in order to do that we would have to pay half of the $135. No thanks. We got massages instead. Facility is nice. There's a pool area that was unfortunately overrun with screaming kids. The lady who checked me in the locker room was real down to earth and I vibed with her instantly. My massage? Immaculate. Honestly worth the headache the lady at the front desk gave everyone. Swedish massage was expensive ($163 total includes tax and tip) but man it was worth every penny. I just got robbed!!! I called to book a full body massage and a pedicure. I was quoted a price and when I went to pay after receiving the services I was told it was $60 more. The Spa Director should be ashamed of herself! She said the girl on the phone was wrong and she would talk to her but they STILL charged me an additional $60. Will NEVER return!!! There are too many spas out there that will not rip you off. Go to another spa, do not trust this place. Had a really good facial here, it was relaxing and restorative. The facility is nice, and I like the convenience to the room. I'm a bit picky with massages and one thing I didn't care for here was the ongoing conversation from the massage therapist. I like silence so that I can drift off into lala land. That was bit hard to do on my last visit. The heavyset towel woman kicked my 18 month old son and I out of the pool making him cry. He was having a great time and not bothering anyone. She was rude and brusk about it and totally ruined our night. The signage they have about adult swim makes no sense; adult swim from 5-9pm ***Under 18 can swim from 10am-9pm under adult supervision. Why would you have adult swim from 5-9pm most place do it early in the AM. No one else was in the pool. Also it was dirty and no towels. read more

Horrible experience. Came here for my anniversary with my gf for a relaxing spa day. The men's area had no one at the front desk so I had to wander around until I saw the attendant hanging out w. 2-3 friends. He showed me to the locker hurriedly even though no one else was there. Bathrobe was tiny. I'm 6'1" they must have a size up. Flip flops let off a gross squeaking while you walk. Im thinking they were sterilized (hopefully) and reused but never dried out properly. When I got to the sauna I could loudly and clearly hear the large attendant who makes no attempt to be professional or spa like repeatedly saying "bruh bruh bruh" and other nonsense with his homies talking about the studio and his recordings. Mind you on multiple occasions I observed him taking calls on SPEAKERPHONE in the tranquility room that says on the walls no phone calls or loud voices. The men's showers only have apricot scrub and apricot shampoo ???? So I was left to go to dinner smelling like a woman. Not sure why they wouldn't have a neutral or men's body wash. On to the massage : The masseuse I had did a good job. However my girlfriends masseuse left her with neck pain for the remainder of the night that is still lingering the next day. She said she was cringing and bracing herself to the pressure he was using. Any good masseuse should know to lighten up the pressure or offer to when they see their client respond that way. I came home to find bug bites all over my torso from the robe. I've done nothing to change my routine, nor are they from my home. Trip to the spa for the day turned into an itchy mess. Previous review:3 stars I had bought a Groupon for my boyfriend to get a massage. I figured I would get a pedicure while I waited. I got the prince of the tides pedicure. I loved that they had a foot buffer. I never had seen that before, it did an amazing job. However, other than that nothing spectacular about this $75 pedi. I've had much better ones for $20 at home. While you do get a spa pass for the day the areas are separate for men and women. The only common space was the pool and hot tubs. It was very frustrating because my boyfriend and I wanted to spend the day together and were unable to use the quiet amenities together. The pool area was very nice, however we did not want to stay because there were wild children screaming, running, jumping, etc. Needless to say while I love to pamper myself I will not be coming back. It was great to get a Groupon for his massage, which he seemed to enjoy. But the pedicure was nothing close to the price it comes with. I prefer Mohegan Sun to this spa any day. Spent the day with my adult daughter. Was looking forward to a relaxing spa day, hoping my experience at the Foxwoods Norwich Spa would be similar to the original location. NOPE. 1st what I liked: The facial was fantastic as was the massage. Both get 5 stars. The pedicure was nothing great and not worth the $$. Could have gotten the same pedicure from any strip mall nail salon. What I did not like: there is no place to lounge around, and peacefully relax, other than the large pool area shared with screaming children and people sleeping off a hangover poolside. The jacquzzi tub was not hot enough and the steam room smelled like mold. Add to that the woman who thought it was tasteful to scrub her callouses off her feet, yep you can hear that grating sound if you concentrate.- GROSS. Will NEVER go back. read more

This spa was kind of out dated but the services are amazing and the staff if so friendly. I got the signature massage head to toe and felt like a new person after they massaged my toes all the way to the crown of my head. Never felt better after a massage. This by far was one of the best experiences I have ever encountered. With all the stress and planning that comes with a bachelorette, this place offered the perfect solution. Clinton Cox, the Guest Services Supervisor, made it a hassle free process. He took the time to review each bridal party members request and was able to accommodate each persons needs while still allowing the bridal party to remain in a group setting. All staff members were polite and professional, not to mention the environment was also very neat and clean. I would book this spa 100 times over! I can't wait for my next encounter with this place. I am extremely disappointed in my second visit to this spa. I went about 3 weeks ago for a friends birthday and decided to return on my 30th birthday. After leaving voicemails and emails expecting Clinton to get back to us I was finally able to get him in the phone. I was finally able to make arrangements to celebrate my 30th there on my actual birthday. I was told there was a party already book before hand but that the private relaxation room would be available to us by 12:30. I then even asked if we were able to put ballons in the room and was told absolutely. I thought we had everything all set up and planned out. (Lunch in private room 1230,ect.) However when we arrived we were barely greeted. We weren't given our gift bags, no one "showed us to our lockers" like the time before and NO PRIVATE ROOM. However I waited before I said something because running behind is normal. However by 2 (when our service start) there is still no private room. When I asked about it I was told that I never had a booking for it and that we just have our services. NOTHING FOR MY 30TH PARTY. I was then told that Clinton said he NEVER told me I could have the room by 12:30 (which is not true because we even talked about the decorations and how we planned on having lunch in there before our services )I do not appericate the insinuation that I was LYING. I did not feel welcome AT ALL . MY BIRTHDAY WAS RUINED by this whole experience. I plan Spa gatherings at LEAST once every two months and I will make sure I take all the business back to my original spa who is kinder and way more accommodating. And would have been sure to make sure my 30rh birthday party was special. read more

I spent my birthday here with a few friends. Gorgeous facility with a kind and talented staff (Hi to Jen & Erin ). The amenities in the locker room were my favorite part: showers, hot tub, and chilled towels available for the sauna and steam room. They offered juice and fresh coffee. The bathrobes were luxurious. The family friendly pool offered a beautiful view and comfortable chairs to relax in, a few more co-ed hot tubs and a great pool. I've had the opportunity to enjoy a few different spas, but Norwich at Foxwoods has continued to be my favorite. read more

I honestly will not be returning. I have never been so disrespected in the service industry. I am a nurse and often need to go for massages and want a nice relaxing time. This was not my experience yesterday. I felt sorry for my friend (the birthday girl) the entire time! I went with a group of my friends (and future bridesmaids) the end of February for a 30th birthday party and that experience was so wonderful we decided to return and booked to go again. We were also planning on returning for another birthday in May and for a bachlorette day in december... However, we will be taking our business else where. I do not like being IGNORED and I do NOT APPRECIATE being LIED TO. Yesterday... THE customer service was RUDE (minus the services, MaryANN and Che'rie were WONDERFUL). Upon check in my group was flat out ignored. It was my other friend's 30th birthday (the ACTUAL DAY not a birthday week kind of thing) and we were made promises such as a private relaxation room before our services. They tried to rectify the complaint but it was provided DURING our services so it was not utilized because we had dinner plans after. Our phone calls prior to the experience were also ignored. It was not until one of the other girls of the group called for them to book our second spa day (this should have been our first hint). It seems Clinton the manager only cares about NEW customers and not returning customers. A key to a sucessful business is word of mouth of the patrons and I will be warning my friends and colleagues to go else where. (Clinton: you have lost our business. 3 of the girls in our group spent over $300 in services each time. Your disregard for making Ashley's 30th birthday memorable just lost you thousands in business.) If anyone else has a suggestion of where to go in May please let me know. Went with a group of girls. My massage was great they double booked my manicure so it wasn't great. Which they gave me $6 dollars off. Me and another girl paid cash. Don't ever pay cash. They are crooks. When I got home my credit card had a charge of $160. All of us had a receipt except one girl who paid cash. Of course they have no record of her paying. went there for a spa day with some girlfriends. thought the place could use a little updating for the prices. The pool area was pretty crowded and there were a lot of kids. The women who greeted us in the locker room weren't not very friendly - seemed like they didn't want to be there. Enjoyed the hot tub for a bit and then off to massages - 2 out of the 3 of us loved it, unfortunately the third person in our group got a chatty Cathy and the women talked incessantly until my friend just stopped answering her back. We went to have our facials next and we all LOVED them. the creams and lotions used smelled wonderful and felt fantastic. To end our day we finished with pedicures. The two women who did them were AMAZING!!! very informative, friendly and funny. As we ended our day and I went to pay the bill, the women who checked me out was a bit rude. she was very curt when speaking with me and after saying what she needed to she didn't acknowledge me anymore. No "thank you" or "have a nice day" - nothing. Overall a good experience and I would definitely go back. read more
