When I arrived for my 1:00 p.m. appointment, the salon was very busy. Another technician did my pedicure, and I assumed Mia would do my nails once she finished with her client. Instead, I was completely ignored by Mia. She never acknowledged that I was there or explained why she wasn't able to keep my appointment. Another woman, who I believe was the owner or manager, ended up doing my nails. Unfortunately, it was the worst dip manicure I have ever received. Not only was the application poor, but the dip manicure didn't even last one week before it started lifting and chipping. I've never had that happen before. I'm giving this salon 3 stars only because of the consistently great service I've received from Mia in the past. Had this visit been my first experience, my rating would have been much lower. I hope the salon improves its communication with clients and ensures appointments are honored or, at the very least, explained.
