I had high hopes based off many reviews. I also always believe in the best for every company. I've poured my heart into helping companies take pride in their work, restore integrity if it lacked and celebrate their successes. This salon experience left my friend and I (in our forty's so it's not our first rodeo) incredibly disappointed on a few levels. Let's begin with the experience is one of self care. So you want to feel comfortable, taken care of and relax. My friend had 4 nail technicians in her one appt. I had them switch mine once as well. They just kept having people bounce around. No rapport or trust was built. No customer service experience was taken into consideration. They also messed up our nails. And for my friend they didn't listen for what she wanted. She wanted a pink and white. Yet they did something else. And she had to stop them time and time again. Every time they switched staff. The communication was so awful. And it was way more money than the local salons I called after. My fault for not calling around ahead. For covid restrictions to be in place (they take your temp) but didn't take any of theirs as they walked in (I was there first of the day). And moving everyone to new seats. Seemed lacking. I wouldn't return here at all. read more

In an emergency situation they got me in out the salon quickly and did a perfect job with no appointment. My fiancé proposed to me and I broke my nail moments later. On our way to a celebratory brunch I stopped in to this salon and they immediately greeted me with kindness and took care of me making my manicure perfect! Not to mention the salon is beautiful! I came here for my birthday to treat myself to a pedicure. I've never been, but they had good reviews and it seemed nice. I go in for my appointment and the nail tech tells me it's only her second day. red flag #1. I had the jelly pedi for $35, so I had high hopes. it was rushed, no massage, and she seemed like she didn't want to be doing it. I asked the manager to speak with me outside, as I didn't want her or the other customers to hear me. I voiced all of this to him and all he said was "sorry, I'll talk to her." it was a waste of money and I won't be returning, nor referring people here. *UPDATE* after calling to talk with the owner again, they demanded I come in so they can "check the work", even though the polish job isn't what I complained about. the nail tech and owner made a huge scene in front of other customers, yelling and telling me I'm a bad customer. I get it, I do. I was in the industry and managed a salon in downtown Raleigh; I also know when I customer isn't happy, you offer a refund or a complimentary service. read more

I didn't have time to go to my salon before going on vaca. While staying near Arden, N.C. I read good reviews of this nail salon. I had acrylic fills done and gel polish. The lady that did my nails wreaked of cigarette smoke. She was a bit sloppy in applying the polish. I had to have her go back and wipe off the sides of my fingers. Fast forward 7 days later....3 nails have chipped terrible. I was not hard on my nails in the least....chilling in a cabin and walking the small towns. No work, no dishes, nothing is o have made such large chips come off. When I got back home to spend more money my nail tech said the polish was done too thick. Oh.....and to top it off....when I went to pay, the lady that was at the counter tried to charge me for a full set! I only had fills done. I'd stay away from this place. read more

I had a wonderful experience for my first visit. Helen was my nail technician and she fixed me! I had a recent new full set of acrylics that were lifting, miss-shapen, and all around yucky. She thought of options, discussed options with me and then went to work. My nails are beautiful, the shape and length as well as the French look that I was wanting. The salon is peaceful with classical spa music and a wonderful diffuser aroma. Blooming nails is 'my' shop now! So very happy to have found a technician and a shop that I am excited to visit and satisfied when I leave. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. Horrible experience. If you're planning on coming here, bring your sleeping bag and pillow, because you'll be here for a while. When I first arrived with my friend, they just couldn't seem to get their ducks in a row. Everyone was running around and couldn't figure out who was getting what for about 20 minutes (there was only 2 of us). There was no one else in the salon. I wanted my acrylics removed, a gel manicure, and a pedicure. They did my manicure and pedicure at the same time, somehow I was still there more than 2 and a half hours later. My friend wanted flames on her nails, but she walked out with jellyfish:( At some point, my friend and I started laughing to ourselves because it became comical how long it was taking. The nail tech told us not to laugh. What the heck !! Don't go here unless you have all day long and want to see a bad comedy show. read more

After years of going to this salon, I showed up today for my appointment and they had double booked appointments. So I was told Sorry but I would need to reschedule. This salon is not down the street from my house, it is 25 minutes on a good day! I have made appointments, been there before appointments and had to sit and wait 20 or 30 minutes after my appointment time. There is constant staff turn over. If you are looking for a nail salon in Asheville, this is not the place you want to go to. read more

The first time I tried them was for a pedicure. It was just average, I expected more. I gave them a second chance by going in for a dip powder manicure. They were understaffed again, so the wait was long, even though there were only 3 people there. I was there on Monday and my nails were peeling and chipped by Thursday.
