This is with photo of shape shown and several revisions after I noticed in the shop they were crooked or dull. I asked for Sharp* square. Take what you will. First time customer. Service started with asking about drinks for me and a friend. We asked for what we wanted and the technician made a comment about my weight and needing a Diet Coke but that my friend needed a regular one. After I let that go, we chose our pedicure options. Throughout the pedicure, the technicians continued to ask us about upgrades to the point of irritation. Charge was much greater than expected and the technician kept saying "communication error" when I was trying to figure out what the price was for. They cannot give an itemized receipt so I'm still not sure what we paid for. We will not be back. read more

I came here because my usual nail place was booked for the next few days and my nails were a MESS. This was the worst pedicure experience I've had in my history of "professional" pedicures! It began great. The gentleman who prepared my chair and helped me pick a pedicure was pleasant and kind, and he suggested I get the $30 pedicure which is enhanced compared to the basic pedicure with more attention to your heels, exfoliation and massage of the legs. He set the timer on my massage chair and stepped away. Then a woman came over whom I presume was a manager or owner. She began my pedicure by asking where I am from, and when I stated the part of town I live in and the nail salon I usually frequent she said "I've heard they don't do good work there." I admitted that what she said surprised me because I go there all the time and have never had a problem, which I stated. She began to cut around my nail beds and as the was trimming around my big toe she cut the skin and it began bleeding some. She continued to work on my toes as I winced, then she BARELY, I MEAN BARELY massaged my legs and feet. No more than ONE MINUTE FOR BOTH LEGS/FEET. (Umm... this was part of the enhanced service I was paying for.) She skipped an entire integral part of a pedicure. She didn't even scrub my feet AT ALL until she almost started painting my nails and remembered. There was no water left in the tub because in her mind she was tying this pedicure up -- so she scrubbed the heels with some exfoliating scrub without ANY water! I told her to stop that it hurt, and she said "Your skin is too thin". Excuse me, but NO, it isn't. I was there because I wanted my heels done properly which I was paying extra for. She used the hose to wash the half ass job she did off and then she started to paint my nails. My toe was still red and slightly bleeding from her cutting the skin and she said "It's like old person skin". Hello! I am only 46. I get pedicures every two to three weeks and this has never happened. It's not my skin, it's your hurried up job! There was only ONE other customer in there at the time and she was having a manicure by another lady. They weren't packed and busy which would have made this slightly more understandable.... My ENTIRE pedicure finished when there was still 10 minutes left on the massage chair timer. START TO FINISH THE ENTIRE PEDICURE from filling up the water to finishing painting WAS NINETEEN MINUTES. I've had basic pedicures that lasted longer, were more enjoyable and less painful! I'm angry with myself for not speaking up at the time, but I was really in shock, especially considering the trash she was talking about my regular nail salon. I'll never go there again, and I advise anyone reading this to not go either. IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY AND OF TIME as I'm getting ready to re-do my heels here at home. *** VERY POOR QUALITY! *** read more

No wait or anything, they had me seated and looking at colors. I was in and out very quickly with stellar looking nails. My nail tech was super friendly and polite. I failed to get her name, but I'll definitely be looking for her when I go back. Plus they didn't price gouge me like I had been before at another place on Hendersonville Rd. Better quality job too! I went here with my friends to have a nice girls day to get our nails done. My friends started 20 minutes before me (I was fine waiting) but then I got done 15 minutes before my friends. The lady did not take time to do my nails. There are so many streaks in my nails. We went on a Friday and by Sunday my nails were already chipping. I use to know the old owner and went back thinking it was still her Business. I met the new owner Trina & Toni ! Trina done my nails . I have not had mine done in years and Toni did my daughters. I truly liked the way mine turned out but when I really started looking when I got home, three of them were crooked bad! She was so worried about walk-ins and people leaving she neglected my nails worrying about people walking out and rushed on mine ! Toni did a decent job but took forever and they came off after a week ! I paid $125 for both of us. And they said they gave a $5 discount lol . He also done the nail shape he wanted after we told him what she wanted!! I went back to get a fill , btw I was talked into solar nails before ! Trina only filled the pink and not the white! She charged me $40 bucks just to refill the pink when I paid $55 for a whole set initially! After the fill on the pink the next day two of them cracked right at the white & pink ! Long story short 4 of my nails came off that weekend because the white was so brittle and she only filled the pink ! Of course she knew they would break and told me ," No the white is fine save your money" ! I didn't save ANYTHING, they are scammers ! So of course I'm not going back and when I started taking them off my actual nails are to the meat! I have had my nails done for years and give them a break to heal! This is the first time my real nails are bleeding and thinner then a feather ! Just giving my experience and will never go back ! Just on nails not pedicures! But be careful she used a tool on me after a customer and it was not put in the autoclave and I corrected her on it and she got mad ! That happened my second time there ! Like I said NEVER AGAIN! My mom has been going to Kimi for several years. We have followed her from place to place. My mom has had dementia/Alzheimer's for 4 years. She has a caregiver that takes her to her appointments. The caregiver uses my mom's debit card to pay for her services. On the occasion that the caregiver forgets her card, she will write the check for mom, as mom can't write her own checks. Mom has gotten the same service from Kimi for the past 4 plus years. Mini and pedi for$ 60.00. Well, Kimi told caregiver she could go next door to the sub place and come back and get her in 1.5 hours. Otherwise caregiver would have been right there to say no to unneeded and wanted services. When caregiver comes back get her, the bill was 95.00 because mom was shown a menu of services. Mom can't really read and comprehend what she is reading. I'm sure the menu was read to her and mom said yes, yes.... My poor mom doesn't even know what she had for breakfast. You could ask her if she wanted a purple nail polish and she would have said yes. yes. Kimi knew mom had dementia. I have called her on at least two occasions prior to mom's appointments to tell her to cut them shorter. In said conversation, I have mentioned to Kimi that mom would agree to anything you do, as she has dementia. My mom doesn't need hooker nails at 84. When I called to complain, Kimi said "oh your mom looked at menu and wanted the deluxe". She said she didn't know mom had dementia. That is total BS. Again, she has been doing my mom's nails for 4 years. If she had been a new employee , I might believe that. With the telemarketers that already scam our elderly, it is terrible that someone that has known my mom for several years would take advantage like this. I hope she can sleep at night. Shame on you Kimi!!!!. Would you want your mom treated like that? It breaks my heart. To make matters worse, Kimi called my mom to ask her why did she not want to pay her. I didn't tell my mom I had called her. As she doesn't understand she was being scammed, as most dementia don't. Mom was very upset and didn't understand what was going on. I guess she doesn't understand Alzheimer's. I hope she never has to deal with it either. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Gets better. 6 days later the bill is now 105.00. Just looked at my mom's account, she was charged an additional 10.00 for tip. Unbelievable! read more
