I wish I had been paying more attention and not talking with my friend as the salon cut DOWN my nails and not across during my pedicure. Basic nail care is that you never cut down! On top of that, the lady didn't do it at a proper angle so I have a jagged edge and paranoia for the next two months worrying about an ingrown toenail. Plus the polish was not applied well. You can see the uneven coats applied in the photos. The entire salon needs to be retrained with healthy nail care. Totally stressed by this experience. Will not return. read more

This was a definitely a no thank you experience. I went in for a mani/pedi and had a rather interesting encounter. Every item on the menu differed in description from the sheet you're required to fill out before your services can begin. The person who greeted me continued to encourage enhanced services over my repeated objections. As I read the menu to sort through the options, she kept asking me for my drink order so she could get it started. After I chose the services, she told me to sit in the pedicure chair but before I could get in the seat, she reminded me not to put my feet in the bowl until there was water. I still had on shoes and hadn't sat down fully in the chair so when she saw my puzzled look, she said " I was just trying to be nice, most people put their feet in before they're supposed to". Update: Great make up experience. I arrived and picked out a color, this time dip rather than regular polish because my nails had become so fragile. Definitely wonderful customer service and I recommend requesting Tom if you can. This time the experience was not painful! Best part was that my nails looked like how I wanted them to when they were completed. Below you can see the before and after pics of the nails. Where before you can see the edges of the nails were poorly shaped and jagged, now they are smoother and more round like I like. The venue itself is well done and the chairs are comfortable. I went to get my nails done as a walk in. There were no other customers- so it kind of worried me. I showed a pic of the finish I wanted for my nails and they were done exactly as I asked! I came here when I was in Orlando for a wedding recently. My initial plan was to get gel polish on my toes and matching regular polish on my nails. I was then talked into dip for my nails, and the two colors don't match, even though I wanted them to. My pedicure turned out fine, but I'm pretty disappointed in how my dip manicure turned out. After less than a week, they've chipped, and the top coat has begun to peel on some of them. They're also pretty messy around the cuticle area. I would include a picture, but I don't know if that would be fair since it's been a few days. In total, I paid $100 for a gel pedicure, cuticle manicure, and dip nails. I think the cost breakdown is something like $40 for the pedicure, $50 for the nails, and a $10 cuticle manicure. I also didn't get an acrylic tip or special shape with the dip nails, so $50 seems VERY high. Overall, I think I may have been overcharged, or I at least didn't receive the quality of service one would expect for $100. read more

They were very nice and accommodating, which is why I'm giving 3*. Let me preface this by saying I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews, but my friends and family say I should just to warn others based off of MY experience. I had reached out a few days prior to inquire if the business was able to do designs, as I was coming to Florida on vacation (and truthfully, thought my boyfriend would be proposing -he did- and I wanted really nice nails for the photos). The person I spoke with assured me that they did designs. I didn't book an appointment because I didn't know when I'd be able to get there after my flight, so maybe that's my fault, but when I arrived the nail tech told me he could not do designs, but had stickers. This was a little upsetting to me, as stickers normally make me think of a child getting their nails done, but I accepted it and chose some stickers. I had also asked for my nails to be shortened, but the tech said they wouldn't look good a little shorter (which I always get my nails shorter because I work with my hands a lot), and kept them the same length. I have pretty bad anxiety so I just went with it and hoped they wouldn't break off until after my vacation, and they did hold up so that's fine. However, by the time I returned home. the stickers had peeled off. I went to get the polish changed and get a fill at a salon back home, and ended up having to have the entire set removed. First, one of the nails was entirely crooked and the artist tried to fix it but couldn't. But more importantly, my fake nails had developed a pretty bad fungus underneath and the new salon said I shouldn't put nails back on because of it. The artist said that normally happens if a previous tech wasn't taking their time and removing lifting pieces of acrylic, so water is trapped underneath. I've had fake nails for 7 years and this was the first time I had this happen; I had to take my nails off for over a month to fully get the fungus to disappear. Again this is just my experience; they were very nice. Just wanted to be sure to warn others in case. read more

Overall I was satisfied with my visit to this salon. I had a new full set put on with gel on top. Kenny was my nail tech. He spent a lot of time to make the shape look perfect which I appreciated. Overall I'm very happy with the nails. I would've given a 5/5 if my nails on the under side were cleaned up and if the removal process for my original set had been better. I personally am not a fan of removing acrylics by popping them off with another acrylic nail. It's not good for the nails and I prefer soaking and drilling. I would come back again. Up front I want to state I used a Groupon but this is based on the quality, overall experience and if I would pay full price for the hot stone massage, To start the interior is so cute and that is likely why I chose this deal. They have these big high back white chairs and the stools for the technicians are a plump purple boudoir seat. Think a classy Alice in Wonderland theme. That and I have never had a hot stone pedicure. First a couple tips: 1) Make an appointment. They had three people working so walk ins may have to wait and I loved they did not hurry my experience like I have seen at other places. 2) The chairs are not massage. They are very comfortable and have a nice soft pillow. I actually preferred this to some of the chairs where I feel my back is getting a beating. 3) My GPS seemed to show this place but I drove around the parking lot and down the street. It is located in a plaza behind Lake Buena Vista Crossroads. So drive on 535, turn on Palm Parkway by the Olive Garden and turn into the plaza with Kobe, SeaDog etc. It is in the middle of the shopping center next to Havana's restaurant - their fried pork looked awesome but that will have to be another review. I had Karina and I would say it was one of the best pedicures and I have been getting pedicures for years in a variety of salons from the Ritz, to Bliss Spa to the place on the corner. I was kind of embarrassed because I let my feet go over the winter. Karina was very nice and made me feel comfortable and she was very thoughtful about water temperature and making sure I got the service that I wanted. The hot stone pedicure was nice because you got foot masks, wraps, lots of massaging including with the hot stones. Usually my feet feel pretty good for a few hours but I noticed he next day my feet still felt refreshed and much softer. She used the pumice to remove my calluses and she was quite good at removing these without any cutting. My polish was pretty and perfect. Oh yes I was offered a glass of wine, champagne, mimosa, water. Plus I like Pinot Grigio and that was one of the choices. That was a nice flourish but did not impact my review. Cleanliness is always a concern and I noted that pedicure tubs were promptly and thoroughly sanitized. So yes Nailinnis Spa might be a little bit of a drive but make a day of it and enjoy the many places to eat, the cute decor and the excellent service. Didn't have time to get my pedicure done before traveling and came here. Biggest mistake ever!!! Got shown the menu, picked a middle of the road service. Was told I had to do the $55 one if I wanted the callus removed. Now mind you, I do a pedicure every 3-4 weeks, so really, there wasn't anything to remove. Anyway, felt pressured and agreed. That was THEE shittiest 15-minute "deluxe" pedicure ever! IDK what was deluxe about that. A 3-year-old would do a better job. Nail polish is coming off two days later. I never ever had that happen before anywhere. Terrible tourist trap. Do yourself a favor and let your pre-schooler paint your toes at the hotel. They were all very nice and it was very relaxing. They offered us either a water or soda.
