Every style, medium, and vantage point you can think of (or not know about) is here. It welcomes you via the front windows and swaddles you as you walk further in. And the team here are some of the friendlist folks you will meet downtown. And recommendations? They have plenty. They've been there for over two decades so they know a thing or two. Of course they can give you background information on each of the artists' whose work is in the shop and sometimes even some insight on the piece itself. But I also want to highlight a aspect of AOB that I constantly make use of; framing. Once you make it to the back (after joyful hours of looking at everything while en route), you will see a workshop area. There one or two team members will always be hard at work (though never too busy to answer questions). I have brought quite a number of posters, prints, and paintings over the years in search of their guidance in what frame to choose, how to frame it (matte/no matte/thickness of-color-etc.), and even the optimum glass. And every time they have come through. When I ask them to push me out of my comfort zone (aka, solid color frames), they did and my piece was the better for it. Their presence and their services are invaluable to downtown and our community. If you haven't been, or if it's been more than a week, I recommend you stop in soon. You can thank me later.

If your kid is ok with something like this - "We are going to get you a special bear, and you can choose 1 outfit and 1 accessory," you could get out of the store for less than $50, especially if your child chooses a bear on sale or less expensive bear. (Some are as low as $15, but go up to $40.) Also remember, you are not just buying the bear, but paying for the experience, and it can be fun! After visiting the location near me for my older daughter's birthday, my younger daughter wanted to go also for her birthday (of course) while we were in Georgia for the holidays. This location was almost identical to the one near us, so my review is largely the same. This location is also clean, bright, friendly, and welcoming. The staff is ready to help and really try to make it special for the recipient. They are running a fall break special for unlimited play for only $20 a person, most attractions were included (splatter room and human claw game were extra). For $20 it was steal of a deal, unfortunately they normally charge per hour for most activities. For me I know there is no way my kids will stay at one activity for an hour. I think they need to come up with more package options, maybe 3 activities for $25, 4 activities $33 or unlimited activities for $40. They do have small snack bar with drinks, beer, ice cream, popcorn, candy and other items. They have a retail area with shirts, key chains, sensory toys, hats and more. The splatter rooms are much larger at this new location. They do also have a couple of party room options. The staff was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely go back if they start regularly offering packages, otherwise it could easily become quite expensive with 3 children.
