I've walked by this place so many times and meant to go in, but somehow it is always on a Monday when they are closed. I finally got to go in today and I was SO happy!!! What an eclectic, cute, unique store with all types of local and regional art. The lady working there was so sweet. She noticed my bag had a bunch of pins on it and showed me where I could look for pins. I cannot wait to go back here! I'm on the hunt for wind chimes and a Dutch oven and I know exactly where to go now!!

Some of the most original art I've ever seen. Owner is incredibly nice and is really passionate about the artists and their works. Check them out. Really beautiful different art works.

Super cute artsy store! They have all sorts of neat things and surely you'll find a gift for someone in here! They have jewelry, pottery, decor, and more. Really reasonable! I found a dove ornament and some cute glass earrings. I will be definitely be back.

And that's because it true is a house, a refuge, a place where all are welcomed (not to mention well fed and juiced-is that a word?). Local artists are set up to your left, Brother B's art is hanging on the wall (as well as the wall itself is his work), and the bottled juice and tea is waiting in the cooler. But if you want a smoothie or vegan food item, a smoothie bowl or kale salad (the best you'll ever taste!) it's all waiting for you here. The cold pressed juices are local/regionally sourced as is everything else you see on the menu. And as they say on the labels and to-go boxes, it truly is made with love. This House also hosts art workshops, monthly open mics, and music events (though music washes over the space at all times). I deeply love the space, the team, and the owners here. And I look forward to their continued impact on the business and art community in the years to come. Also, you get 10% off your first order when you check in on Yelp. I appreciate the artists who take brush to canvas and other mediums to create something breathtaking and life giving. And pottery? Oh, that I am envious of. To take a lump of clay and make a bowl or plate or holiday tree. That is a gift. And one place to find this gift is at Tire City Potters. A mainstay and cornerstone of downtown for many years, you cannot fully anticipate what awaits upon your first visit. It is tucked away on the corner of 10th and Ellis Street. If you have any doubts you're in the right place, just look for the giant yellow square on the wall with a robot head and the word "HAPPY" underneath it. Then you're good. Though I am unsure of the number of mugs-etc. I have purchased from here, I will mention the latest one. It is a tea cup that is dual textured. The mix of colors with a smooth and grainy texture alone makes it beautiful. But to hold it and sip your evening tea, that is art coming to life. I am grateful for their presence, their passion, and their continued work downtown. Stop by and visit them soon.

They also do private pottery lessons and sell items they make. I love their pirate mugs!!!
