There are plenty of options for walk ins. Canvas, ceramics, wood items. Since it was not an instructor led project we were given detailed instructions that were very easy to follow. The staff set up our area with the canvases we selected and one ceramic project. All the supplies were laid out as well. We had plenty of room to work and chat. My kids joined me: ages 15 and 11 Our artwork did not turn out like the sample, but made for some great laughs and excellent memories. Somehow my beach scene took on the resemblance of a frog or some creature. who knew making a shadow on the water would be so hard. I look forward to visiting again. Staff were kind, helpful and readily available to answer our questions. Wish I had asked more questions. Bonus: you can bring your own drinks/snacks

The class was pretty full. We painted a beach scene with the artist painting the pic being viewable via TV. That was different but welcomed. You can bring your own wine and snacks. We had wine, cheese and crackers. It was really fun! They selected a few folks from a gameplay and they won pictures. Those celebrating were brought on the stage and were given gifts! I will definitely come back here.

I even mentioned wanting to paint something inside the main studio, and as we were walked over to the other studio, the owner told us they close at 6 and that we would be called back to paint the pieces we made. That made us even more excited about the full experience. As beginners, we expected a more hands-on approach, especially since the class is advertised as beginner-friendly and the goal is to complete two pieces. Instead, we found ourselves constantly asking the instructor for help, only to receive very brief responses before they turned away again. With only one instructor and little to no hands-on guidance, the experience was frustrating and not what we signed up for. As shown in the photo, my piece would not stay centered on the wheel, and I wasn't given the support needed to fix it. Because of this, I was only able to complete one piece, while my fiancé was able to complete two. We drove 1 hour and 30 minutes for this class, so our expectations were high, which made the outcome even more disappointing. We wanted to speak to someone about our experience right after the class, but the main studio had already closed at 6, and it was around 6:06 by the time we finished. I later contacted the manager to discuss our experience. She initially offered a free class with another instructor, but we declined because we didn't feel confident the experience would be any different. We simply wanted to take our business elsewhere and move on. We were not interested in picking up our pieces at any point; we just wanted to forget the experience altogether. Her response felt dismissive and unapologetic, which made us even more certain that we did not want to return. During the conversation, she compared the situation to going to a movie and not liking it, which didn't feel like an accurate comparison. A pottery class is a guided service where instruction and support are expected especially for beginners unlike a passive experience like watching a movie. After about 10 minutes of back-and-forth, she offered a 50% refund, which we didn't feel was appropriate. She eventually agreed to a full refund, but her tone remained dismissive and unprofessional, and she ultimately hung up on me. Overall, I would not recommend this place for beginners. The lack of hands-on instruction, limited support, and the way our concerns were handled made the entire experience disappointing from start to finish.

I decided we could stop by early one afternoon to miss out on the high volume of people. We came today, Tuesday Jan. 26 around 1-2pm. When we got here there was only one other family, so that was really nice. Eventually they finish up and leave, and we were in there on our own. The woman working was nice and didn't rush us. My kids finally picked out their pieces and then we went to get colors. At the other location in Evans, they use to let us get quite a few choices but she specifically said they could only get 4 each. That was a little disappointing. The only minor issue is I had to grab a little water bowl from another table since ours didn't have one. Besides that, painting goes smoothly and we finish up. There's a sink outside of the bathroom, unlike the other store, and I find that really great. My daughter could wash her hands while I kept my eye on my son at the same time. Paying is simple. Since prices are listed where you pick pieces, you'll know a rough estimate. I asked if they did military or if it's only on Fridays, and she said they don't do it at all. That's a little sad given how populated the area is with military families, but I understand it could be because of Covid and hardships too. Another thing I'm only slightly concerned about, and I may have missed her do it, but I'm not sure if tables or brushes are properly sanitized. Sure they're wiped down from paint, but people are still sitting down, masks off, breathing all over the tables. If I come back to sit and paint, I'll be sure to bring some Clorox wipes to be safe.
